I moved to LA 3 years ago, and it was the GREATEST decision I ever made! I am all about health, wellness, fitness...and just feel really at home. There are so many amazing / healthy places to eat...and honestly, just feels like EVERYONE here is in good shape. It is motivating and makes me want to be my best self. I truly hope the best for you and know you will LOVE it!!! Congrats!

@C Hunter Are you a pro Republican fanatic, in love with Trump ? Or an extra lucid seer who saw that " the wealthy " leave LA like one leaves a mad asylum ? In fact, you are just a little fool.
Hi Sanne, I was watching your video and I really resonate with it. I am currently a student at NYU and it has been my dream to come here. I have been in the city often younger and it was splendid each time. However, as time goes on, I begin to notice how NYC is so quick paced and never stops. This place is incredibly stressful and competitive when it comes opportunities. It can even be such a lonely place to be at times even if I made a ton of friends (fomo lol). Before, I thought nyc would be the place for me and as much as I love this city, I definitely would love to settle somewhere else that is less hectic. Thanks for sharing your experience with NYC :)
That's great. You deserve to choose where to live and how to live your life. Some people find their purpose in their job, however for most of us it is close people who make this world worth living. Good luck for you with everything ❤️
I totally support this decision! As someone who is also very anxious/Type A/on-the-go/focused, I find that I need to counter-balance that energy with something more calming (i.e. with my environment, workouts - doing more yoga/Pilates than HIIT/cardio, etc.).
@@SanneVloet I have a chronic illness, so making sure I don't overspend my "spoons" (referring to the Spoon Theory). I'm an extroverted introvert, so although I'm energized by new adventures and meeting people, I need to schedule me time to unwind and recover from extrovert-ing! I deal with both SAD and bipolar type 2 but I know how you feel. To be honest with you I have also made life changes as well. I moved back to the states last year in August. I have lived in Tokyo for the last 11 years of my life. I'm having a hard time adjusting and watching your videos helps me see that there are a lot of us out there who feel the struggle living in the city, the crowded-ness, the rushing, and the business that prevents us from saying "stop, relax, and take time for yourself" I am glad that you made your decision to make your life better! Always enjoy watching your videos :)
Glad she’s moving and hope she likes it better :) la seems more of a social media city than a work city, less busy but more pressure to be “perfect” I think
I can relate to everything you said about NY and the lifestyle, living in London feels exactly the same... Also SAD is the worst in London too. Very happy about your move to LA but also extremely jealous!
I personally enjoyed your videos without your new editor it's to much edited in videos, no longer authentic, cuts, ads, noises, angles, way to high music, your personality disappears, to produced. You did it alot better, now it feels like someone else is always there and it doesn't feel genuine. Very happy for you though, so glad to hear you are excited about moving
you seem to be so happy and I feel like you're growing constantly... I am really enjoying to see your progress and wish you and max only the best. xoxo from Europe
The composition of music with the words played pretty well in the video, maybe some were having a problem with it but was very nicely done. It's so nice to see positive and honest kinds of stuff.
Found your vlogs during the corona virus time and love the positivity! LA is very health focused and the fruits and veggies are fresh! Try walking along bluff cove in palos verdes, exploring the tide pools or hiking in the santa monica mountains. There is a lot to explore since LA is so spread out and has so many cultures!
Im from Quanzhou in Fujian Province, China and I live in Beijing for studying in college😉It has been almost 5.5 years since I knew you from the Models.com website and how time flies... I’m so excited to see you start update ur vlogs. Dutch in the beginning and English then. And now you have so many fans from the whole world. I love the times you lived with Julia, then Daphne and now. It’s amazing growing up with you sweetie.
I love that you made a change in your life. Changing the place you live in relates to your mental health, which is very important. LA is a wonderful place for you and I can see how excited you are about it. I understand that you loved New York very much when you were little and when you were excited to see the world and that's okay, now how did you grow up and how you change the opinion that you liked something more and something less, you found yourself in LA. I wish you so much success and good luck in your new environment. 😘❤️
Your glow factor is off the charts lately honey! Happiest girls are the prettiest girls 💖 gotta admit though, city life can be rather ..suffocating sometimes. Definitely feeling that lately. Looking forward to more adventures through your eyes! All my love xxxx sending all the Pisces season energy 🤘🏻💋
I lived in NY before I moved away for college in Miami. I loved Miami so much that after I graduated, I stayed in Miami. After living in Miami for 10+ years, I visited my friends and family back in NY during one Christmas/New Year holiday. I missed the vibe of NYC so much, I decided to move back to NY and I have never regretted moving back ever since. I will never move out of NYC ever again! Once a New Yorker, always a New Yorker!
On this type of chatty video, i think what a lot of people relate to is just sincerity and simplicity- the feeling they are just hanging out with you. You just sitting there by yourself with the camera is more than enough :-).Over- production (camera cuts, diff camera angles, music etc.) detracts from this a bit. It's great you make the effort to innovate, and don't take your viewers for granted, but extra isn't always needed :-).
Hi Sanne, I totally understand what you’re saying. I grew up in a suburb outside of Chicago and moved to the Los Angeles area after college . I love the city of Chicago but the weather was just insanely cold or so hot and humid you couldn’t breathe, Much colder than New York due to the intense icy winds from Lake Michigan. Living in 20 below zero weather is brutal but when you grow up that way you don’t know anything different. My dad was a business owner so he couldn’t take much time off work and our vacations were mostly Michigan and Wisconsin. After going on spring break to Florida I realized I must live in a sunshine state. I Live in Orange County California and not a day goes by when I don’t appreciate the beach, palm trees, warm weather and the ability to walk, hike and be outdoors any day of the week. And yes the avocados are amazingly delicious. Welcome to Southern California, I think you will be very happy here. Btw my name is Jackie, bought my friends laptop and haven’t switched it over yet. After you and Max gets settled you should take a drive down to Laguna Beach in OC and check out the Montage Resort, people come there from all over the world. It’s a five-star hotel with gorgeous grounds and beaches that is open to the public. There are some really good Thai restaurants in Laguna as well, enjoy your new home. ❤️🌈🌺❤️
Unless you move to a countryside in the middle of nowhere, you would probably live in a louder area. And I don’t think LA would be quiet and relaxing ;) But I heard that west coast has its specific climate so I hope you’ll like it!
It's so quiet and relaxing here. I think many people think we moved West Hollywood, but instead are on the west side by the beach! It's like our little sanctuary!
Congrats on the move! I also suffer from SAD (helloooo Belgium lol), sometimes taking extra vitamin D can help, especially if it is low in your blood. Let spring & summer come very soon please 😉 xx Lyn
So interesting to listen to reasons why people want to live here because I’ve lived here all my life. Yes I agree with all of them. I’m happy to have you here!
Aw man, hope you come back soon but I totally understand it's not for everyone. I have lived on both sides of the states and they both have their good points and not so good points
Still remember the first time you said on camera that you were thinking of moving to LA! I think LA is the best choice for you, even work wise😍😍 such a new and interesting video!! Thanks for sharing
Hi Sanne! Could you possibly make a video about moving to America from Europe... I'm very confused by stuff like bank, renting an apartment, getting the visa and the insurances so it would be very helpful to get your perspective on those things. Btw that second camera thing is very cool 👍😊 and hope you'll like it in LA!
Hi! You have to be sponsored for a visa and the rest you just learn while on the go! I'm going to make video about finances and what not so that you guys can see what it takes to live in NYC.
yep, in America everybody always running somewhere, the work always replaces a Life., work work work........ Then when I back home country I feel a LIFE then work !! EVERY EMIGRANT SAYING THE SAME THING.
Congratulations on your move! I went to college in LA and I loved it there! It has the best of both worlds mountains and beaches! I moved back to the Midwest to be close to my family and I can’t say I regret it, but to this day (it has been 30 years gulp!) I still miss living in LA! Looking forward to seeing what dishes you create from the AMAZING farmer’s markets there!!
It's fun to keep busy, but I think hustle culture can be really bad for people in the long term. And the pressure to be social is real. It's perfectly fine to enjoy reading at home. There's a balance to life. It's good you're making a move that will work well for your mental health.
Enjoy life in LA, Sanne! Your attitude and your mindset are something that you carry within you, irrespective of where you are. You can create a home for yourself, no matter where you are. Inner peace is detached from anything physical and geographical, but it's something that starts in your heart. No place is perfect. Every place has its strengths and weaknesses, which you'll only truly discover after once you have moved to that place and discovered its true colours in daily life. How you feel is a result of multiple factors. Location is only one of these factors. Other factors that affect how you feel are for instance, your job, the people you're surrounded with, the proximity to your family and friends who have known you since you were little up to today. Having said this, I'm wishing you to have more sunshine in your heart in LA! I'm sure wherever you go, you'll make great encounters and gather awesome experiences. ❤️ Hugs from Amsterdam
Go live in Pasadena, sis. Not Los Angeles (centre). Lots of traffic. If you have to, try Hollywood Hills or Los Feliz (where my cousin lives - upscale/really beautiful walks), but even still, Pasadena is the best for outdoorsy people. Anyway good luck!
I 100% agree with you, I moved to new york for my first job after college as a fashion designer. I think the environment is way too fast paced and always stressed out over work. I also love nature but havent found any where close by that i can just relax. I'm planning on moving somewhere else soon
I moved from London to San Francisco for work and I definitely appreciate the sunshine and warm weather for happiness. I would like to move to LA next!
You are such a beautiful person inside out.. U really inspire me thousands of mile away here in India in a way to be positive and reach out to different opportunities.. Thanks so much!!
Hi Sanne, what an amazing journey. I admire your courage as moving to the States is something that I have always wanted to do but I just can't deal with the health system there. It's so expensive and it really scares me away. LA is magical. I have only been there once but it's in my heart. I wish you the best of luck with this new adventure of yours!
⭐ Good Luck with your new start⭐ I hope LA feels more like a home to you!!🌞This background is so to the point! It's so cool that you can still do the job you love ....but in a more convenient environment for you, and a place you feel more like home. I appropriate that fact that you pointed the pros and cons and how you see it....eventually I believe...that not every place is for anyone...some things that you may found not likeable in a city might be apreciateted by someone else...and vise versa... not everyone has the same taste and opinion ,but it was cool to see your point of view, your experience and how you felt it
I'm glad you enjoyed this video! Thank you for leaving such a well thought out message for me. I read every comment and well it really warms my heart knowing that you are with me on this journey! Hope we keep talking! xx
I can relate to you being more a morning person and getting enough sleep hahaha or maybe we are getting older. I also love the beach. Lucky to have so many islands in the Philippines where I'm at.
Hey Sanne, are you bringing all your winter clothes to LA? I wish I could buy some of the stuff you don't need half price. You've got an exceptional style and premium quality clothes!
Can't wait for Izé to drop!! You've been putting SO much hard work into it! I live in an apartment in Ann Arbor, MI right next to the street... the car noises/ambulance sirens drive me insane! I plan to move to CA after graduation too.. you're getting me so excited for it! Also, thank you thank you for doing a finances video!! Going to be SO helpful -- I feel like you and Max are my older siblings giving advice
I live in Los Angeles and I must say I am living my best life! You are going to love it. So many hidden gems to visit. Your content is going to be way more interesting because of your lifestyle.
Very happy that you moved to a place where you can find your zen. When the mind is peaceful everything else works out smoothly. Warm weather is a bonus.
I'm so excited for the appartement make-over serie! ARe the shoes still above the closet thing (I don't know what it is) where Max climbed up in one of your videos?
Best wishes in Los Angeles. Other than traffic and earthquakes the quality of life is much better there. I am from New York but lived in Los Angeles too. The sunshine cannot be beat!
I'm LIVING for the, like, two sunny days we've had in the past month and I can't wait for the sun to actually come through consistently here in the Hague ♥️🌻
Hi Sanne! I am so happy for you! I believe in following your bliss and I believe this is what you have been wanting to do for a long time from the sounds of some of your past videos. Like you mentioned, you can always travel to do your modeling anywhere from LA. Where a person lives can make a big difference in how they feel and it can affect their moods. You definitely seem so much happier making the move to LA. Wishing you the very best in your endeavors❤
Exactly! I have to travel anyway so it's nice to be able do it from a quiet and warm environment! Thankyou for watching and can't wait to share my life here with you guys! ❤️

Linda G. I can’t stand the music either. It’s distracting and it makes me feel like I’m in forever 21.
i second that, although I love the content, the music is soo exhausting :'(
I agree. I love you, Sanne and your content, but the music is a bit much. Maybe if it was more zen music to fit with your new zen lifestyle. 💖

And me, I want to live in New York 😂
Where do you live now? Xx
Sanne Vloet Next to Paris !
Girl same! I'm going to college in NYC in a few months and I'm so psyched! But lol I literally live 2hrs away from it now, wish I lived near Paris tho
Me too! Except I’m all the way in Australia
I'm live in Bali and I want live in Japan or London
Pleeeeease an updated makeup and skincare routine soon!!! Sanne your skin is absolutely glowing and you look gorgeous as always!!!
same here
I'm going to be making one, but it will be a few more weeks I think!
I'm going to don't worry!
@@SanneVloet Omg thanks so much for replying!
Happy for you and look forward to the adventures living in LA! ✌️
Woehoeeee!
Amazing Sanne! Such an inspiration Xx
Hi Sanne, I'm super happy for you!! I wish you the best in your new journey, can't wait to see all your cooking creations!!! Big love, xoxox
💖💖
Go live in Pasadena, sis. Not Los Angeles (centre). Lots of traffic. If you have to, try Hollywood Hills or Los Feliz (where my cousin lives - upscale/really beautiful walks), but even still, Pasadena is the best for outdoorsy people. Anyway good luck!
We live on the west side! It's amazing here. Thanks for the recommendations.
i really like your makeup!!! i cannot stop looking at your beautiful eyes!!!
Hi Sophia! ❤️❤️
@@SanneVloet didnt expect that you would reply me!!! happy in LA!!! ❤️
Come join me!!! ❤️❤️
When will you make video on your LA apartment tour? It will be fun to see all the things organized by you!!
You are such a beautiful person inside out.. U really inspire me thousands of mile away here in India in a way to be positive and reach out to different opportunities.. Thanks so much!!
How is everything in India? Where do you live there? I was there two years ago, can't wait to visit again!
@@SanneVloet please come to Assam( north east India). there are so many places to visit in India..

Sanne, I think I saw your BF in a photo at Target. a model for Goodfellas.. so amazing.. you guys are inspirational.

AmyLove I’ve seen him too! 😄
I'm sorry Sanne but this video is ttttiiiiiiimmmeeelleeeesssss, you spoke soooooo many people's mind in this video thaaank you so much!
Thank you for the kind message Christopher! Are you a part of the notification squad?"
Cheers to you new life in LA 💖💖💖.
Thank you!!!
⭐ Good Luck with your new start⭐
I hope LA feels more like a home to you!!🌞This background is so to the point!
Hope we keep talking! xx
@@SanneVloet ❤❤❤
I can relate to you being more a morning person and getting enough sleep hahaha or maybe we are getting older. I also love the beach. Lucky to have so many islands in the Philippines where I'm at.
Hey Sanne, are you bringing all your winter clothes to LA? I wish I could buy some of the stuff you don't need half price. You've got an exceptional style and premium quality clothes!
I could do a closet sale...
Sanne, you are amazing!
Ahhhh! Welcome to LA, Sanne! Can’t wait to see your adventures here 🥰

I live in Los Angeles and I must say I am living my best life! You are going to love it. So many hidden gems to visit. Your content is going to be way more interesting because of your lifestyle.
Thank you Bridget! how long have you lived in LA for? x
Very happy that you moved to a place where you can find your zen. When the mind is peaceful everything else works out smoothly. Warm weather is a bonus.
That is so true Swati!!! How are you doing this week?
U made a right choice Sanne, relax and keep the heart in love is the most important thing than any. Keep going!

I DO LOVE WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS AND THANK YOU FOR MAKING THEM
Why I love you soooo much!!!?? Why you are so so relatable?..
I love you vloet ❤️ .. I feel like I am talking with myself when you are talking ..
Best wishes in Los Angeles. Other than traffic and earthquakes the quality of life is much better there. I am from New York but lived in Los Angeles too. The sunshine cannot be beat!
nice editing :) i live in the netherlands and i love it but the lack of sun and warmth is killing me :(
I'm LIVING for the, like, two sunny days we've had in the past month and I can't wait for the sun to actually come through consistently here in the Hague ♥️🌻
Same for me when I spend a few weeks in Amsterdam in the winters, the sun is always hiding!
@@SanneVloet please bring some sun from LA next time you come :>
@@merijnmulder the wind also made it even more unbearable :
so excited for your LA videos!
Veel succes met je nieuwe avontuur 😘
I love watching your videos Sanne!! Thank you so much for sharing them!! :) :) :)

No not on the west side! Xx
Sanne Vloet oh ok
ANOTHER VIDEO THIS WEEKEND WOULD BE AWESOME❤❤❤
Hi Sanne !! I really like your videos ,you’re an example to me ❣️
Kiss from France 🇫🇷 (I see i’ m not the only french 😅)
@@SanneVloet I was scrolling through news on Google and came across a Dietician, Ms. Sharp who is reviewing what you eat. Just wanted you to know what she likes and does not like in her reviews. She does not even pronounce your name correctly. Thought I would give you a heads up about this.
