I’ve been hesitant to jump into this field from a completely non related background. This helps me motivate myself. Thank you. PS your video skills are so good that this video comforted me after a distressing day.
Please do it, I knw exactly how u feel. Coming frm trucking it’s completely new to me,I realized I didn’t wanna truck my whole life and plus I’ve always been good with tech/ma office etc. but once u actually hope into it u realize it gets a little easier the more and more u study and do it. So definitely don’t be discouraged and yea his videos help me as well lol
@@joedouglas2736 Man bro that's crazy lol, do it I know first hand u know that trucking industry definitely takes advantage of us daily. Not that its nothing wrong with trucking because u can make money, but for me I don't like how they treat drivers especially if you paid out of your own pockets and went to a driving school smh.
Bro your life story is amazing and I absolutely love all of the effort you are putting in to make content like this while motivating all of us to live out our dreams
First video I watched from you. Definitely an interesting perspective of your day in the life! Love the storytelling, cinematography, and adding some personal touches to your video. Inspiring!
Peace and love Justin! So glad I found you brother! Beautiful video! I am about to go into data analytics for the first time in my life. Decided to do something different and I’m really excited about it! Thank you for the love!
Great video! I’ve been working from home as a freelance graphic designer for 2 years now and I don’t have many friends to hang with but something that refreshes me is to get outdoors and do some fishing. Usually alone 😂 but for some reason the sounds and excitement of catching a fish here or there completely allows my mind to reboot. I’m currently looking in to learning either data analytics or ux design so I’m doing my research. Graphic design is fun but the market for what I do is very saturated and sadly my work isn’t unique enough to stand out amongst the industry. Love the video keep up the work. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Hey Justin your visuals in your videos are really something else that I have not seen on this space of youtube! The camera work, color grading, and editing really flow well, and great job on your narration/writing. Hope the channel continues in this direction and best of luck!
I stumbled across this video while doing research into becoming a data analyst. I'm brand new to this field, but I find myself getting more and more interested in it the more research I do/ This video was very heart warming and really inspired me. A sub and like doesn't quiet give you back what your content gave to me now and moving into the future, but you got both from me. Thank you very much for this video. Stay blessed.
I'm a GIS/Data Analyst for a municipality and I find it so stressful to wfh (we're only allowed 1 wfh day every other week anyways) because my VPN lags so much and all my programs outside of online stuff like Salesforce is painfully slow. It takes the joy out of wfh for me. But Data jobs are so broad when it comes to task. That's what I like about it.
Justin could u plz make a video on how data science dept. in a company distributes work, how the teams under data science dept communicates with each other, communication tools, task management tools, how the works are inter related, flow of work etc etc...Basically behind the scenes....No body is making video on this topic and this topic is super important. It will also give boost to ur youtube channel....
Yes!!!! There aren’t many videos that explain the connection between the 2. I think an explanation would help viewers better understand the data science dept and how we work hand and hand.
Hey Akshay, great question. I don’t work in data science but I can say that my company implements agile to our working style. I’ll elaborate more in a future video!
I am actually trying to start as a data analyst and go into data science role. Any more advice from anyone would be great. I am finishing my degree in MIS and have done two IT internships for a total of 11 months 1 data analyst internship for 1.5 months.
Man good on you for your analyst job, but I also hope one day that you pop off with your cinematography, become your own boss, and make that passion your career!
I'm studying right now to become a data analyst. As a future data analyst what are your tips for us and what was the most challenging part of being a data Analyst?
Awesome video! This is the first one I've seen on your page. As a data analyst based in Chicago, the video really resonated with me. I'm interested in capturing more footage of my travels and interesting sights around the city. Can you offer any tips on how to get started and which camera to choose? I'm a complete novice.
Yea for sure! I started with my phone and got a mobile gimbal to start so you can start with your phone and go from there if you enjoy it! Doesn’t make sense to pay over 1K for something you might not enjoy later.
Hey man currently looking up to you for motivation. I'm a youtuber myself and trying to become a data analyst. Your content is absolutely immaculate and informative. Thank you for creating it.
How long do you think it would take for someone to go from having 0 experience to being fully proficient and independent in this field? How much studying does it take to take on this role?
Fire content bro just subscribed both your paths sound amazing hope all works out, I’m currently working on projects for my portfolio now, when do I know I’m ready to start applying , would hate to do a mock sql interview and not know 😅
I have a degree in Computer Information Systems and I love working with Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python. I have recently been studying for the Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification. I know certification are not really sought after in Data Analytics, but I wanted to pursue one anyway to improve my skills on top of my experience and formal education. Do you have get any data analyst certifications or related certifications before landing your first data analyst job?
lol. I work in school IT support and I had something similar to that happen. A couple years ago, I walked into the front office of one of my schools just to check in with the staff and I thought I walked in with my coffee mug. After about 10 minutes, I leave the office and head to my tech office. In there, I was looking for my coffee mug and couldn't find it. I even called the front office to ask if I had left it there and they told me they hadn't seen it. I was convinced that I did bring my coffee mug and was a bit bummed out I couldn't drink my coffee. Anyways, when I got home, I walk into my room and realized I had left it there the whole day! Somehow I convinced myself that I did bring it with me, but apparently I didn't. 🤣
Quick question when you talked about PowerBI, what is your preferred method of getting data into PowerBI, do you import data directly from SQL Server, or exporting sql data into Excel then importing from Excel?
I have just subbed, love the video bro I am gonna go to sleep now but I am going to watch another video of yours when I wake up 😊. Love this type of content keep it up 👍🏽.
Nice video. I’m pursuing a bachelor degree in health services management. Also pursuing an undergraduate certificate in data analytics. My career title would be Health Data Analyst.

How hard is this job and is it hard to do well in? I have no experience and am wondering if I should get into a program for it

Thanks Andrew! The trick is shooting these type of shots in 60 fps and then slowing it down in post. That way you don’t get as much jitters

Quick question when you talked about PowerBI, what is your preferred method of getting data into PowerBI, do you import data directly from SQL Server, or exporting sql data into Excel then importing from Excel?
It's always better to write your query, clean and allow the sql optimizer do the heavy lifting first before dumping your code into powerbi.
What are some advices that you can give for someone that wants to transition into a data analyst? How do I start? What is there that I need to learn?
