- Learn how to reset any BLU Tablet. Today I will be demonstrating with the BLU TouchBook. Follow along as I show you the button combination to boot into recovery so you can Data and factory reset or wipe cache partition. This can fix issues such as forgotten password, too many pattern attempts, slow device or fix a number of other issues.

Just now pressing the volume key and power key at the same time don't work it only starts on and off...

I power it off and hold the power button and volume up but all it’s doing is turning on and off on and off with the blu logo and would not go to recovery mode to reset it or factory reset

@@nykeriaharper9010 no. I threw it away. Blu made it so if the owner opted to lock it with password and phone # then only owner could unlock it.
@@nykeriaharper9010 this tablet was branded to a carrier. The way Blu had it set up the carrier, t mobile or verizon, already had a phone # for that tablet. The security lock for the tablet meant you not only had to know the phone # associated with the lock, but also the PIN#..even after factory resetting the tablet, its core memory retains the lock security from the last person using it...if that person had decided not to use the security lock, it would have been a simple matter of resetting and putting my own # and PIN on it
@@nykeriaharper9010 also if i remember correctly, this tab had upgraded android security, a grade above what theyre working with in this video..essentially, BLU fixed that bug that allowed security breach on a reset..all the program DLs that claim they can fix this were made for a lower version of android..the newer version no longer allows it

@@iiemerald3530 never did, just left it in a corner.
Hold down power and volume up.
When Blu shows up release power button BUT continue to hold volume up.
Then it should pull up so you can factory reset.
If it is asking for password again after reset and restart look at the bottom and it should give you an option to sign in with email/Google account

I cannot get it to power off to reset,it's showing airplane mode at the top of tablet
Swipe down from the top and turn airplane mode off then press the power button on screen not on the side.
