So I get to the very 1st hard reset screen and nothing happens when I select the up volume button for Recovey, but when I press it a 2nd time its starts to boot then freezes, any ideas?

No I recommend doing a hard reset that usually fix most issues

Hi. I follow all the steps in your video but my Blu dash M now is dead. just appear the android robot with the ! sign and i can access system recovery menu but the process of wipe data/factory reset dont work. Can u suggest me what can i do.... i cant find the rom file for that model either. its a BLU Dash M D030U. thanks.

I have a problem. I cannot perform factory reset. It's all the same with you, saying data wipe complete but the when factory reset is supposed to happen it says something like this:
mkdir/data/app fail. err is -1
What's that?
That's very strange. It might mean you have a corrupt system recovery, if that's the case then you would have to flash your device. I also have videos on my channel showing how to do that!

+Mooze You're going to need to flash your device entirely and then re-lock your bootloader. I would also avoid downloading that app again.
My BLU device suddenly stopped turning on. it indicates the BLU sign of turning on when i hit the power button but freezes at that spot and those not further to the point of visibility of my apps? any help?

I don't know if you have ever had this kind of problem.
I bought a Micro USB cable (3m) from Ali Express for my BLU WIN HD LTE smartphone.
It worked well before. And it is well maintained. The battery is good.
Everything was fine. So, I wanted to try this new cable and when I connected it the BLU froze.
The screen was on but no picture. Unable to close it. I had to open it to disconnect the battery.
Once done and the smartphone turned off, I tried to turn it back on. But that is impossible now.
So, my BLU is no longer working. I even tried a hard reset.
Did the cable short-circuit the smartphone and break one or more components?
I looked at the circuit, everything is beautiful. No buttons work when I press them.
The same cable has been used on tablets and has not been a problem.
Is there any easy way to fix it?
Is there any easy way to find a solution to make this smartphone work again?

wow that's quite the situation I never experienced that but I mean the cable could have some how caused an issue during contact, anything is possible and usually just looking at it you would never know it if there was a hardware issue unless it was a visible one, it might have been more the phone causing that issue, did you have the other end of that cable plugged into anything? so you could try more advanced methods to recover the phone by using Android Tools and forcing a flash to it, I mean there are a few things you could try to get it back to life, try just leaving it plugged in for a while and see if it comes back
@@jamiewagner I try the same cable on one tablet and work good. Strange. Maybe a "false" contact. Concerning my BLU phone well I don't find anything until now to revive it. Thanks for your feedback.
If I reset to factory presets... I realize from your video that I will loose pictures and music. But, will I loose my contact list, call and text logs?
yes I would imagine so unless you have some of that stuff synced to your google account or saved somehow.
What if there's no options/menu when I reach the screen with the "no command" android man?Looks the same as yours except no options aapear above the android man to select.

It should fix the problem, unless your router is the issue. If your other stuff connects ok then your right it's probably the phone!

+Scarlett Valintine YEP! I'm sure there is a method by turning off the phone first. Then pressing and holding the power button and then whtever the key commands are to get into the recovery screen. But you need to be careful because this method will reset your phone and wipe out your pics and so forth and data. It would reset it back to factory settings.
i tried this i held the Volume and the power button. The only comands are just Boot modes.

+Felicia Ulmer you can always try to do it again but it sounds like you might have a hardware problem maybe something is actually wrong with the phone or the recovery partition in the factory reset is corrupt which means then you would have to flash the phone

Don't buy a BLU phone unless you want to get locked out of your phone and lose all of your data and photos with an update. Total trash.

just click on the google play app that's on your phone. You have to do it that way to download apps from the google play store. It's easy you can get your app right back on the phone. You probably have to log into your google account to do it.
