- Music From "The Elder" was the ninth studio album released by Kiss in 1981. This television commercial was taken from the Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve broadcast on December 31, 1981.
Music From "The Elder" was the first album with the drummer Eric Carr and the last album to feature Ace Frehley until their 1996 reunion.

As a KISS fan from ‘76 I loved, and still do, Music From The Elder.
“I” is a true KISS, ‘believe in yourself’ song and is on par with Shout It Out Loud and one of my top 5 favs.
What’s one of your favorites from the album Dave?
My favorites are the ones spotlighted in the commercial, Ace's "Dark Light", Gene's "A World Without Heroes" and Paul's "I".
I is a true beautiful inspiration song. The Elder was released in the wrong time period for KISS. Should have been done in their "serious" period like when Revenge was released. An album I would love to see one of these Progressive Metal bands be inspired to make a similar recording, or even a Progressive Rock band could redo and make it a classic

I think the Elder and Revenge are the best albums they made.
Along with "Destroyer", those are the Kiss albums produced by Bob Ezrin.
