    Thanks for the video. I am actually hoping to use a whipped butter type consistency for homemade sunscreen. I would just include non nano zinc oxide. I hope it works!!!

    Hey thank you for your content . Don’t have any advice on what to do when my body butter gets hard. So I start to make and blend let it cool down. Then I go in with the mixer . It blends then in the blender it’ll get thick but a chunky consistency and then eventually it’ll get softer but then it’s be hard as hell by the time to pipe and after a few days the body butter I’ve made is very very hard but soft enough to scoop out 😒

      What’s your ratio of oil to butter and what type of butters are you using? You can hit me up on IG @icanonlybg. Think I can get back to you sooner there.

    can you convert the percentages to grams ? Thank you

    • @gleniece09
      @gleniece09  Рік тому +2

      You can go to the website wholesalesuppliesplus.com, they have a batch calculator. You just input your ingredients and it’s percentage. Input how much or the batch size you’d like to make, ie 8 oz or 90oz. Select the measurement you want your batch calculated (in oz, lbs, grams or milliliters ). Calculate it and it will give you your measurements. When you have the percentages you can make your formulas in any batch size big or small. The formula will always be consistent.

    Do you like whipped butter better than emulsified butter?

    • @gleniece09
      @gleniece09  Рік тому +3

      I like both. My emulsified butter has more staying power on the skin and is more temperature stable (doesn’t melt during shipping). But my whipped is light and fluffy and absorbs fast into the skin, it’s all natural, no preservative. So I do both.

      This blend must be more like a balm than a creamy butter after is sets it must be pretty firm especially to put a finger or fingers to scoop it out

    • @gleniece09
      @gleniece09  Рік тому +1

      @@frankperez1225 No, it firmed up a bit but nothing close to a balm. It scooped out just fine and melted and absorbed in the skin quite nicely. Was testing out different formulas to get me through the summer months, with shipping and all. But it was in the summer months and I live in a warm climate. So definitely would change it up during colder months.

    Hi I did this recipe I did a batch for 48oz i had paused to do the vitamin e and the fragrance when I started whipping again it was really thick and creamy but then by the time I added the vitamin e along with the fragrance it wayy lighter when I was ready to pour it was more watery than thick. I still bottled it thinking it would get thicker, however I just checked the jars and I'm seeing separation at the bottom, could it be the fragrance that's the problem? Is there a way for me to correct it? I know I'll loose the colours and it will be fully pink but I don't mind

    • @gleniece09
      @gleniece09  11 місяців тому

      Hello, what type of fragrance are you using? Some fragrances are water based and some are oil. Since this recipe is “anhydrous” which contains no water and it seems that your fragrance may contain water. Oil and water don’t mix which would cause the separation. This is my theory on what’s going on. Any changes?

      @@gleniece09 I think it has water too as I used emulsifying wax to try snd correct it, I let it sit over night and it has separated again so now I know not to use that places fragrance again, I did a whole big batch, I'm so bummed out but atleast I can save the jars

    I see where you got the percentage you're using, but what's the gram of each product you're using?

    • @gleniece09
      @gleniece09  Рік тому

      If you have the formula you can use it to make whatever batch size you need, large or small. You can google batch size calculator. Put in the ingredients and the %. Put the size you want to make. It can be in oz, grams etc. Make sure the formula total = 100. Then calculate and it will tell you how many grams to use of each ingredient. Hope this helps because I didn’t write the grams for this batch. Let me know if you need more help. ☺️
