My experience is that clowns like that are the most likely to have strength, stubbornness, and the likelihood to sacrifice and take risks for their fellows.
100% agree... add leadership qualities...
That's what my loader was like on my tank. We've been brothers for 7 years now, even after the Marines.
Yup. Knew a few guys like that. Woulda done anything for the dudes.
We had a guy that would puke his breakfast up on the parade grounds every morning upon reforming after that relaxing leisurely (not really, it was nerve wracking) five minute morning meal. Every morning without fail. No other meal but breakfast, but every day without fail. It was hilarious.
And just about 30 seconds prior to morning colors. It was something like out of a Monty Python skit! The Instructors after several weeks got very pissed.
Absolutely true in my experience too.
Congratulations on…………………………………SIXTY-NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE thousand subscribers!!! Semper Fi Devil!!
Damn, someone beat me to it XD
😄 🤣
Nice!
I like solders like Onochie, I think we need them, they bring something to the table that may be a hidden but important final ingredient to a very highly no-nonsense order that needs a little change of that Stell environment of total control. Every environment needs a little levity to boost morel and to level things out, it keeps you cool, more aware and alert. Hats off to the Maries, and I thank you for your services. GOD BLESS! good story Wartime Stories,Signed,Greg the egg.
I think the instructors knew that as well and well, they can't endorse his actions.
But yea....they didn't break his bones yo core either.
Man that was a great story. Hope Anochi is still going strong!
You've got some of the best produced paranormal/supernatural videos on UA-cam. You've never disappointed yet.
And when the wind is just right til this very day you can still hear Onoshe sounding off !
Onochee sounds like my type of guy
I really appreciate your service! And the service of all the men and women who send their stories into the channel. God bless all of you.
I love these stories. Makes it so much personal. Honestly turns your voice into an actual person
Congratualtions! I teach English to non native speakers and I often share your videos with them. Thanks for all the hard work , amazing graphics and excellent story telling. Your voice was made for this! Best of luck and may your numbers grow daily!!
I love these type of stories. I was army so we all clowns. When I became an officer, if someone would have done that, and I was there, I would have hid my face, honestly I would have laughed it right off. We aren’t as disciplined as you all. I’m saying that as someone who went thru old school basic in 1994.
Also.
Congratulations on siiiixxxxxxtyyyyynineeeee…thousand.
The rack across from me in bootcamp housed Mr. Begg and Mr. Cox....the company commander never missed an opportunity with them. Congratulations on the 69 milestone!
Onochie sounds like my kind of guy, I would also be the wise ass doing that sort of thing. I enjoy these videos, congrats on almost seventy thousand subscribers .
Cheers to another 69k subs and then some, brother. Keep taking care of yourself, YT can always take a backseat! Hopefully I speak for all your subs in saying the content you consistently put out is indistinguishably thoughtful and remarkably thorough. Keep doing your thing because we absolutely love it!
First off, congrats on the 69k subs, you've worked hard and made a great channel, raising a glass to you and many more subs and a whole lot more awesome content. I laughed thinking about guys I've known like Onochie and seeing them do similar things, this really made my day, especially after a rough one.
I'm sure Onochie got in no end of trouble, but that's how you attain 💥LEGEND STATUS💥
Congrats on 69k!
Glad this is moving right along for you. Cheers!
Congratulations! Keep up the quality work man.
Well deserved. Looking forward to more from you!
You have a nice radio voice, I keep comin back here to listen to your stories. Thank you
Congratulations 👏🙏👍
100k just around the corner! Well deserved milestone!
Your story brought a smile to this crusty airman's face.
Sixxxxxxxty niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine!!!!
Great story Devil Dog. Keep up the great work! R.L.T.W.
TREMENDOUS, thank you for the content and hard work brother. Onochie is a LEGEND LMAO
That was the funniest story about that joke I think I've heard. Congrats on your milestone and hope you hit 690k.
dude, thank you for sharing this story. it's so hilarious had to listen to it 5 more times in a row! 😂
will be sharing this with my colleagues, fam and friends.
cheers 🍻
3:02 - at least you knew he was fearless 😂
5:13 - Fearless!
Even in the Army we had jokers like him you could haze him and it still happened so we just laughed because besides that one joke the trooper was a good trooper 😂😂😂
Thoroughly deserved mate. Good on you blue! Nuff love from UK sides. Keep keeping on my boy!👍💛👊💯
I was in the woods with no connection on holiday for the past 7 days so I missed your milestone. Congrats 🌸💗🌸 I'm back now
During my first days of service, I was in the same company, with a guy with a very funny voice. During the roll calls, they called us by name, and we had to respond "Present" (Παρών in Greek). The older recruits who did the roll call, called his name at least twice! Insensitive, but stuff like this happens when you put very young men in charge.
This guy has a great ability to tell stories.
Went through Infantry training at Fort Benning in 2006 and it's sounds damn near the same as Marine training. We have 9 weeks of normal boot camp but with the focus on the M16 and small unit tactics and then the last 5 weeks you do machine gun training and whoever qualifies the highest with their M16 got to fire the AT4 at a old T72 already blown all to shit but I shot it and one guy from 2nd platoon shot the other one .
🤯🤯🤗🤗 Congratulations on the milestone. And a massive Grunt, and Sempre Fidelis. Devil dog 🐺
Keep em coming champ !!!!
Oh man, I'd absolutely do exactly just that.
Major congratulations 👏it's just a matter of weeks b4 500k+
Congratulations Wartime Stories!
Great story, Semper Fi brother
While i wasn't able to serve in the armed forces for health reasons, my dad and 2 of my 3 brothers were marines. The 3rd one went into the navy. Anyway i love hearing these types of stories. Thank you for the laugh.
"Smoking the devil's lettuce." I have never heard this phrase before in my life, but it has now entered my personal lexicon never to leave.
Devil’s dandruff for cocaine as well 👍🤣😂
Ah, *that* guy. I remember a few of those.
I have several Marine boot camp stories that never fail to get a laugh(or a cringe).
Congrats Luke! Who'd have know that 69 was such an important number! 🤣🤣🤣 You certainly deserve a lot more. Great work buddy!!!
Damn dude MCT blew lol. It rained the whole 2 weeks we were out in the field and my combat instructors were still big on weapons inspections every morning. Fuckin hated it lol. That and the tarantulas
Thanks!
Shocked to hear only 69,000 subscribers? Never looked at the numbers. I will increase it by a few in the next few days. This is quality.
For me, post boot camp combat training was called SOI (School of Infantry). This was on Camp Pendleton 1993.
Congrats buddy. You have a great voice for this and most of the stories are fantastic. 👌
I love it when men in our military have a sense of humor.
Love that the channel is growing looking forward to seeing future videos from you mate
There’s always one in the platoon 😂
this channel is still underated but im sure you will have more than 100.000 subscribers by the end of the year !!!...

Congrats on the big Six Nine, and some zeros, mark!!!! Please keep the stories coming! I enjoy listening to, and watching, them, and i always like hearing stories from the other branches!!! I was Navy, more specifically a submariner.
HAHAHA! i swear, Marines are a whole new breed but i love doing joint work with you all.
Congratulations!!! That story was absolutely hilarious!!
Semper Fi!! Oo rah!!
Onochie was so proud of his number. Cool guy to have around.
“We’re Marines now! They don’t have to feed us!” The sheer terror. Hilarious.
Ahh, MCT... at Camp LeJuene... in January... good times.
I'm subscribed to alot of channels including yours. But what impresses me is the transition into advertisements. I always thought that the advertisements just popped up randomly right at the focal point of the story and that drove me crazy. Or you would get a pop-up ad right as a subtitle would come up. but watching your videos tells me that you put in the extra effort to edit videos correctly. Thank you for that. oh, congrats on 699999999999999999! subs!!
Congrats and well deserved!
Onwards to 420k!! 😉
Perfect merch opportunity, "Wartime stories, the often forgotten sixty-niiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnth regiment"
I would buy it in a heartbeat
This onchie sounds like a great prison and someone that I could be friends with and keep up with your UA-cam channel and keep up the amazing wartime stories coming

Glorious
Congratulations on your subscribers, Marine! Keep up with the stories! I'll tell you one of my paranormal stories I had in the Corps some day.
Congratulations Luke!
Gotta laugh at both Ochiee and the instructors responses. That was the stepping barefoot on a Lego piece moment. ;) Congrats!
First off, congratulations, second, if Onnochi does ever contact you, you have to re do the audio on this and have him do his "signature" cstchphrase! Lol. Great story. :)
Rah devil. Former 1812 hete. your channel is a go to of mine for long commutes and when I'm doing busy work
Congratulations you do some incredibly good work
For a minute I thought that thumbnail said 69,420 subs. Either way...Nice!!!

Congrats, Luke! 100k in sight!
Great story, please tell more like them in addition to your other excellent material.
Onochie, you out there, bro? Get in these comments.
Good job Luke I love your videos. You really go eyeballs to entrails to make good content and i love the little blooper reels too. My brother's in the military and I've sent him alot of your videos. Keep it up bro 👏 👏 👏
Reminds me of when I was at reception station at Knox in Aug84. Second day we were there,we got numbers. I think I was one oh two, we had not been taught the dif between an oh and a zero yet, anyways, we had a couplea South Pacific guys who's English was....broken. So one was one oh nine, his buddy would just blut out one oh ten. Killed all of us and the Drills. We were in reception for 4 or 5 days. And as much as we tried to help him to say one ten, it always came out one oh ten. Good times, good times.
I went through it in 1986 ,it was called (ITS ) Charlie Co.Semper FI devil dog. Outfreaking standing..!
Good story.
Goooooooooooood story!
Did the guy really load the rounds backwards in the mag? I didn't think that was possible, like they're made to be idiot proof or something, great story to go with all the other great content, thank you for your service it can't be said enough
100k around the corner
That was funny. Thanks.
Nice to see some shit never changes
