That section with Kyle Lamb kind of fucked me up man. This whole time I’ve been in, I’ve truly thought I was a Sheep Dog. But the way Mr. Lamb broke it down made me question everything I’ve looked at my time in the service. God bless both of you fine gentleman and happy Veteran’s Day brother, we active duty guys get recognition for it and it should be all about you brothers. God luck and good speed

Well shit. Kyle is kinda right. But he doesn’t know sheep dogs. I was LE for 30 hrs. And I raised sheep. A real (four legged) sheep dog, properly raised is part of the flock from birth and other than maybe one or two human handlers treats them like pack. If I didn’t feed my sheep dog it would kill to eat. It owned and served the flock.
If LE were allowed to hunt and kill to protect our flock, a lot of us would. A lot of people are alive because it is against the law to kill them. But that is society’s rule, and LE lives under their law.
Desperate professional cultures, desperate missions, desperate rules.

Should read different, not desperate, although the term sometimes applies.
