- Was browsing through Instagram when I ran into a post from Xtreme Marine London on a new Crestliner 1650 Pro Tiller in a real nice sexy blue. I took a liking to this boat. Contacted Ken Van De Wal and asked if I could come check it out? He said "Let's make a video!" and here we are! Ken and I take you on a tour of the boat and its many features and benefits to Anglers who like tiller style boats.

That boat looks crazy wide with a lot of space. I like that small livewell in the front. I would load that with ice and beer! Port side console was really neat. Great video, dude! I want that boat!

A friend has a Lund 1650 Rebel XS with a 60 HP Merc Four Stroke and I would recommend a 75 HP unless you don't expect to fish with more than 2 adults. The 60 struggles to get the Rebel on plain with three ~230 lb. adults under some conditions.
Hey Ross! Thanks for your comment. I think you're spot on with that assessment. Normally I'm fishing by myself or one other in the boat. There has been times I've had a third person in the boat and it is a struggle getting on plane. I always said if I buy another boat this size it has to have a 75 or higher. Will definitely take my time with this decision. Thanks for watching!
Kills me the rod lockers are so small on this but the 1650 Discovery you can put up to a 9 ft Rod
I love rod lockers on boats. I wish boat manufacturers would pay attention to layouts and size of rods they hold. It's kind of a big deal. I'm with you on that. Thanks for watching.
The difference between a lockable cabinet is the cost of the lock, that’s it.
