Project BMW E28 M535i Hood Hinge Repair

The hood hinge on the M535i was cracked. I welded it and its now working much better.

Since there was no such M535i model imported to the US, I'm assuming a previous owner just added the cosmetic bumper bits. If it has Recaro sport seats it was a "535is"; if not - then a 535i.

No, its a real deal M535i imported in 1992 from Germany to Boston. US Federalized and everything.
