(Там есть секунда где видна еще одна постель но вполне возможно, что это пассажир не на всю поездку а только на ночь вечером сели, поспали и утром сошли.. такие обычно даже не перекусывают! также вполне возможно что девушка отказывалась сбегая в пустое купе когда люди кушали) И, главное другое, какая цель сидеть три дня безвылазно голодным в своем вагоне и за все время пути не сходить в вагон ресторан ? Денег не было? При этом закупиться в магазине были (во время остановки поезда на станции)...! Я за всю жизнь не видел у нас поездов дальнего следования без вагона-ресторана! Даже вагоны-буфеты и те были, где пол вагона купе а вторая половина буфет, в котором все-равно можно было купить горячую пищу.

Вы, видимо, не поняли её английский.
1. Вагона-ресторана в этом составе не было. Они есть в фирменных составах и далеко не всегда в остальных.
2. Поезд опаздывал, поэтому остановки были сокращённые, и девушка элементарно боялась отбежать от поезда при стоянке в 10 минут. Потом сообразила, что можно закупиться у бабушек на перроне. но они были не везде.
3. В конце плакала, потому что в Улан-Уде вообще не выпустили из вагона из-за отставания от расписания.
4. Ну, и её, как поклонницу "полезного питания", сильно расстроила необходимость питаться "дошиком".
Так что зря вы вините девушку за незнание реалий - она таких проблем точно не ожидала, и никто её не предупредил.

Скажу две вещи: 1. Сидеть три дня на одном "Дошираке" - это действительно ужасно. 2. Первый раз слышу, чтобы на поезде дальнего следования не было вагона-ресторана. Ну и, думаю, причина нервного срыва не в отсутствии еды в течении нескольких часов, а в общей накопившейся усталости и переживаниях.
Дмитрий Шевелёв я живу в общаге и я месяцами могу жить на дошике. Это конечно очень сильно надоедает, но выхода другого нет

Every train in Russia is supposed to have a restaurant with a hot meal. Avocado won’t let you survive in Siberia, but a good portion of hot soup, pelmeni, meat and potato would 😉👍
Some people don't eat meat so almost every Russian dish isn't appropriate for them.

You have a wrong idea about Russian cuisine. If we are talking about Russian traditional cuisine. In Russian traditional cuisine meat is worth on 2 if even not on 3 place. It is based on cereals and vegetables. This is followed by pastries and only then meat and fish dishes. Special attention to those who do not eat meat should be paid to "Lean cuisine" (Not to be confused when searching for the brand "Lean cuisine" - it does not have anything to do with the issue). In General, here is a link to a culinary site with lean cuisine. Google will help with the translation.

I took a similar train and I enjoyed it! I did prepare for the journey by purchasing a lot of food in Vladivostok. And also they sell ice-cream at stops! Plus babushkas will bring out their baskets so you can enjoy warm Russian potato pies! The Russians I meet on board also gave me fruit and sweets. Honestly I don't think you'll starve if you prepare it well.
Yes, that was the case with all my other journeys, but sadly there were next to no stops longer than 10 minutes (no places to grab food on the platform) and no babushkas with baking. But I was not prepared lol.

Way back in 2004 I had some extra time (7 days) to go on a tour of my own design. I went to Kazan, Voronezh, Tula and my favorite city Smolenck all using the local rail system. It was great, really really great. While in Smolenck I planned out the last couple of days and decided what train I had to catch to make it to Moscow to catch my flight home. I remember that evening at the Smolenck train station. I was eaten alive by mosquitos. Anyway I got on the train and arrived in Moscow at Belarusskaya metro station dragged my bags through the metro to Rechnoye station out onto the plaza in the rain where I caught the bus to Shremetyevo airport all on time. Worked perfectly every step of the way. Hustle, hustle. I got to the departures counter and didn't see my plane listed. I talked to a beautiful girl behind the counter who with a smile on her lovely face said in perfect english. "I'm sorry sir, the reason your flight is not listed is because it does not leave until tommorrow". I ended up staying at a bus stop all night like a bum.

Once I spend 3,5 days in such train but in platskart (3 class), I was moving from Yekaterinburg to Sochi (for holidays in Abkhazia), it was summer, temperatures was above plus 30 C and with no condition 😆😆 it was hard, but still ok))

This is what they call the russian spirit and the presence of spirit. You saved your money and didn't take any food for the trip, you're starving and surviving the hardships. BUT still you are just filming the beauty of the nature, think about the future plans, smile at the face of all the discomfort, listening to the spright music, buy and eat grannies' pies and other hot homemade tasty yummies. And just show your humorous light philosophical view on the things that you're experiencing =)

Alina! I'm a fellow Canadian of Russian origin myself. Lived in Montreal for 27 years, but going to Russia often. I took both the ViaRail, the Amtrak, as well as the РЖД. Please rest assured that Canada is no way better than Russia. Long trips with very few stops do in fact happen. The trains are old, often quite dirty and I haven't taken a shower ever on a train. That must be some out-of-this-world luxury. It also depends on the trip you take. Some are long-trip expresses others are local trains along the route from Montreal to Vancouver. The American trains are no better. I travelled many times from Montreal to NYC and what you call a "restaurant" car is in fact a fastfood stand where they sell you a chicken wrap at best, if not a burger or a hot dog. It's not the country's fault. All three countries USA, Canada and Russia happen to be very big and travelling trough them can be challenging at times. Loved your video on dating Russians where you watched "Москва слезам не верит". Keep up the good work! You're great!

Well, last August I also traveled the same route but in the opposite direction, enjoyed the scenery, met some nice people, ate instant noodles and puree potatoes (it was quite tasty!) - in short, I enjoyed the whole journey. It’s actually all about the attitude towards traveling, and life in general. There is a samovar in every wagon, so you cannot die of thirst. And regarding food, one can live thirty days without it, so there is no room for panic. it is hard for me to understand such an over-fixation on food.

Милая Алина! Сами того не зная, вы сразу прошли 2-ой уровень квеста РЖД. Но! РЖД квест считается не пройденным, без поездки в плацкарте. Не менее суток! :)
хаха спасибо! Ну я думаю мне придется вернуться тогда. Я сделалa плацкарт 3 раза, но все просто за одну ночь или однодневную поездку.

Алина , не плачь . Основные трудности поездки ты все таки преодолела , осталось совсем чуть чуть . К следующей поездке уже готовься заранее , бери продукты не скоропортящиеся , в вакуумной упаковке . На рессторан я бы на твоем месте не расчитывал . В России веганство совсем не в моде , климат слишком суровый , поэтому без мяса никак . Так что скорее всего в вагоне - ресторане вряд найдешь меню для веганов , максимум свежий салат . Удачи тебе , Ты ровесница моей дочери . Так что когда вижу твои слезы в душе все переворачивается , не спокойно . Я и за дочь всегда переживаю , когда они летом с мужем уезжают на автомобиле путешествовать по Юго - восточной Азии . @@dicecorporation You are so right on that statement. I saw some kids in Southeast Asia dive to depth that I would not dare even with aqualung equip on me. I saw people in India that would eat only once a day and at times skip a day or two. People will adapt for sure. Then again you have to be will to adapt or the entire adaptation process will suck horribly (ie Les Miserables).

Well that's a memory that you will never forget :) as time passes these will become fond memories. Speaking of fond memories I did the Trans-Sib back in 2013 from Beijing to Moscow at the age of 26, which at the time I thought was too late(being a 90s kid) but looking back now it was the perfect time in my life. Still to this day the best trip of my life(so far), smiles just smiles when I think about it. Made friends with Russian soldiers, Tajiks, lot of different characters that came and gone. They shared their food(proper food) and drinks, only knew few Russian words so had to resort to sign language hoping we both understood what we meant. Google translate was not a thing back then which made it even better and hilarious at times. Some experiences are better with lost in translation. Love to do it again now older and wiser.
This is probably the most interesting Alina video ever because it shows the genuine Alina as a human being who also has negative emotion just like everyone else. This footage is more about Alina's inside feeling than it is about beautiful scenery outside the train.
Если бы ты поехала плацкартом.. было бы много общения с другими пассажирами, обедали бы вместе, играли в разные игры и время пролетело бы махом. А в купе как в тюрьме. Мало кто путешествует таким образом т.к. проще на самолете
Не было бы никакого общения. Похоже что нее нет некоторых социальных навыков для коммуникации.
Видишь ведь ей надо ресторан чтоб просто придти заплатить и поесть. Если бы я оказался в такой ситуации, я попросил бы еды у более подготовленных соседей. Они бы точно не отказали. Но я бы вряд ли оказался в такой ситуации, я не настолько избалован и могу прожить на моментальной еде 3 дня. Могу и вообще без еды.
А представьте её в казарме в которой кроме тебя еще человек 30. Каждый пытается тебя подъебать, наебать. На тебя постоянно орут офицеры, ты мало спишь. Авокадо? ХХАХА ты будешь жрать прошлогоднюю капусту на завтрак обед и ужин, ну может иногда картошку и мясо неизвестного происхождения. И это на год а не на 3 дня. Через это приходится проходить почти каждому парню в России. Да, нам определенно точно нужен феминизм а то мужики совсем попутали

Ты выбрала не тот поезд. Это поезд не для туризма и не для того, чтобы получать удовольствие от поездки, просто для тех, кому нужно добраться из пункта А в пункт Б.
Но расширить ассортимент (если уж не прицепить ресторан) можно было б (и остановки все же делать, хоть в городах), - а так уж слишком жесткая жесть получилась, хоть и не плацкарт)).
Сергей Карташков насчёт вагона ресторана возможно и правда ( что его не было ) а вот насчёт полной отмены остановки , да ещё и на крупной станции типа Улан - Удэ ( если не ошибаюсь про неё шёл разговор) то тут девушка привирает , её могли минут на 10 или немного больше сократить , но чтоб отменить полностью, такого просто не могло быть

Даже не мог представить, что в поезде дальнего следования вагона-ресторана может и не быть.
Этот вагон - дорогое удовольствие в обслуживании. Так что если поезд дешевый, то люди нечасто будут там отавариваться. Следовательно, нет смысла его держать.
Это в СССР было, а сейчас бардак, кто что хочет, то и делает.
@@E266PD обновляют поезда, но на это уходит время. Доберутся и до транссиба со временем. Первыми на замену пошли самые густоиспользуемые, не забывайте что за Уралом живёт меньше 25% населения страны. И в СССР много чего было, как хорошего, так и в том числе глупого и нерентабельного. Результат мы знаем.

What I don't understand is why you took so little food. I would have prepared 18 very large sandwiches. And soda powder, infusions, cookies and a little bit of everything. Cheese, guava candy, fruits.
Your problem is that you are antisocial, hehehe. The Cubans would have set up a party on the train and we would have spent all singing and dancing.

I did the journey Moscow - Vladivostok and back on the same kind of train when I was 15 and it’s a 6 -day journey without a shower. I didn’t die and cry and get depressed. If you’ re so sensitive to such things like no hot food, privacy or shower, it’s obviously better to take a plane or go by car... it’s an interesting experience, but sometimes it just isn’t worth it.

как и многие из нас, я тоже ездил на поездах и, честно говоря, удивлен и отсутствием вагона-ресторана, и малым количеством остановок, и малым количеством бабушек с пирожками на них, и тем, что у проводника был только дошик, и только один его вариант) Всё по отдельности встречал, но чтобы в одном флаконе -- это как выиграть в лотерею :)

Sounds like you learned a lot about research! I'm watching this after reading for just an hour about the trans Siberian railway and I already read the information you discovered about food, showers, chargers, wifi, checking your train number information. I think this rail line in particular has so many variables you need to do a bit of reading. We all need these lessons in life sometimes, think of it as character building! Glad you made it through okay.
Reminds me of the train I took from Tiraspol to Moldova. The bathroom was definitely the worst experience for me. I assumed it would have toilet paper and it didn't. Luckily some older Russian gentleman saved me with a roll of TP. Wherever you are sir, god bless you.

Поезда давно уже хорошие; я езжу - то на "рельсобусах", то на двухэтажниках, - как лайнеры. РЖД реально молодцы (особенно украинских ездоков это впечатляет, да и иннишам нравится, даже поражает продвинутостью, в т.ч. и Транссиб; да и сама Алина потому и расслабилась, что в России до того ездила с комфортом. Кстати, тут чел из Канады живописал про канадские поезда, которые тоже разные-всякие. Так что не надо штампов, а особенно пошлых - с ними шли бы господа-госпожи черноротые в то самое вышеочерченное место.

You know what? I'm Russian and I think you're really brave and appreciate your honesty. 67 hours on the road especially in an old train like this is harsh even if you prepared to it in some way and the fact that many people in Russia sometimes had no choice doesn't make it easier, like, AT ALL. It is still a hard time, and you don't need to feel ashamed that you pointed it out. This is a great reminder that we all need to notice and appreciate our privileges, but accept our emotions and body conditions is important too.

Aw thank you so much for that. And yes I can read Russian :) Yes, I agree that it's important to understand our privilege, but at the same time be honest about how we are feeling. I think it's boring to see travel vlogs where everything is perfect all the time and people are too scared to show their actual emotions on camera. The Trans Siberian journey is wonderful and difficult all at the same time! All the best to you!

Watching you reminded me of a "found footage" horror movie haha :-) I feel for you..I'll never forget my journey 40 years ago returning home from India..started with a canoe trip..then onto a 12 hour bus trip through the mountains followed by 30 hours on a shaky Indian train sleeping on a wooden plank next to the "toilet" ( the old hole in the floor with two foot pads kind) which flooded the whole train compartment every time it was flushed..then a wonderful 30 hour plane ride home! I remember it well..good times! Oh yeah plus we were sick and and had ten bucks between us...way before internet and cell phones :-)

Well this certainly makes what I went through in my most recent video with an Amtrak train ride from New York to Albany during a tropical storm causing delays, with no food/drink service & having not had anything to eat or drink beforehand seem like absolutely nothing, haha. Glad you survived the ordeal & made it to Irkutsk!

Russia doesn't need invaders to conquer it's people. The revolution and the soviet government has established a long history of killing and oppressing it's people, while Putin and his corruption has continued this famous tradition.

Почти 50 лет назад приблизительно в этом же возрасте я переезжала из Беларуссии в Волгоград ,после проводов на работе ,отправки багажа обнаружила ,что деньги кончились ,заняла деньги на билет у подруг ,но они как то быстро кончились и когда я приехала в Москву ,то у меня было только 5 коп на метро 5 коп на булочку ,а ехать сутки .Так мои соседи по купе заметили ,что я ничего не ем и всю дорогу меня кормили ,с тех пор я очень тщательно продумываю поездки .При автобусных поездках по Европе брала с собой термос ,водонагреватель ,быстрого приготовления каши .В Париже сложно было купить даже воды ,от группы можно отстать ,носила с собой бутылочку ,в следующую поездку в Польше просто купила упаковку минеральной воды ,что долгохранящеешься. Смешная милая девочка преобрела опыт ,.удачи в дальнейших путешествиях .
I recently watch your channel and now this video. Honestly I love to see how real you are. I did enjoy your videos including this one. Although now it was almost two years back, it was still wonderful and amazing. Believe that after this train journey your next journey would be more well prepared and organised. Of course we cannot plan for everything and accidents but you can prepare for the best as we can. Hope you have a very good weekend in Phuket or other city in Thailand.

My first real train ride in Russia was in December 1994. I was a volunteer in the US Peace Corps. To get to my first assignment, I took an overnight train from Saratov to Samara. I traveled with two young ladies. The problems began as soon as we boarded the train. The attendant for our train car told us the we had too many bags and could not stay on this train! We spoke very little Russian, and we began to panic with fear. Finally, as I recall, someone decided to give the attendant a "bribe" and the problem was solved. Somehow we managed to put all of our bags - this was a two year assignment - in the overhead storage space over the entrance to the train compartment. This was my introduction to Real Russia circa 1994.
I was on the Trans-Siberian train in 1988... I went from Moscow to Vladivostock. It took 7 days. The Soviet train was "ultra modern" with "air conditioning". The windows did not go down to protect the air conditioning...that didn't work. It was a 7 day sweat box. With no showers... Consider yourself lucky.

Я однажды после покупки у бабушки одуванчика вареников с картошкой, бегал в туалет из одной части вагона в другую, было плохо, меня хотели уже высаживать с вагона. А всего лишь то поел вареников домашних со станции..

I'm glad I watched all the way thru before commenting, because at first and then again after a couple of minutes in I would have written something completely different. Initially I thought the title was ironic, then after a minute or so I thought along the lines of the disparaging comments here i.e. stop whinging snowflake because I didn't understand what had made you unhappy, now I know and I realise the title is in fact ironic.
I've travelled a lot with and without money and it has always been an adventure and not what was expected which is a positive. In the end you made the best of it and did very well, improvising under unknown circumstances so kudos to you for that. Your conclusions about it perhaps having been wiser to pay a bit extra and/or ensure that there was a restaurant car on board are also correct, it's great to experience the different local food available on restaurant cars at comparatively low prices outside Western Europe and North America, I had some great meals travelling from Johannesburg to Cape Town on a 26 hour journey on the Shosholoza Meyl train back in 2004 and have great memories of that trip.
But I also had one very long - nearly 3 day - and fairly uncomfortable rail journey across 4 countries in Europe back in 1997. I was working in Southern Austria and went to visit a girl I'd met at a party near Vienna, in Zaragoza, Spain. I went on an interrail ticket as I was young enough at that time, the outward journey was okay as I had all my 2 weeks holiday money so going across Northern Italy at night I was able to pay the supplement for a couchette compartment and had a nice nights sleep with the rocking motion of the train, but the next night when I arrived in Barcelona there were no more trains departing so I went and had to shell out for a hotel near the station which was a bit pricier than I would have liked to pay but what the heck. After 2 weeks in Zaragoza I went to the station confident that I would make it back in 2 days - it was Friday evening and I had to be at work in Austria on Monday morning. I should have known all wasn't going to go well when I took a ticket from the machine for service at the ticket counter, the number was 666, really. I made it to Barcelona that night but there were no onward trains across the South of France, or at least not 2nd class and without supplements as that was all that an Interrail ticket permitted, so in the end I had to sleep on the roof carpark of the station with my rucksack as a pillow which wasn't ideal. I had a coffee and croissant in the cafeteria as soon as the station opened as I still had some money, just not much. For some reason the train didn't continue as scheduled into France and deposited us at the last Spanish border station, Cerbere I think it was called, with the only onward option being from Port-Bou in France just literally 500m on the other side of a tunnel, but we had to wait hours for a local train to come and take us through the tunnel, I say we as I had met some American tourists on the same train who were also pretty despondent as they realised they wouldn't reach wherever it was in France they were going to on schedule. Going across the South of France for a full day I think I only had a bottle of water and some oranges in my rucksack which I'd bought in Zaragoza, but I managed to sweet-talk some French girls into giving me the remainder of their bag of crisps (chips) in the afternoon. Again for some reason by nightfall I was stuck just over the border in Italy in a place called Ventimiglia with no money for a hotel and no trains onwards in the direction of Austria until the next morning. So I walked down to the seafront and spotted some deckchairs folded near a bar, and sneaked one of these out of sight and lay down and fell asleep. Well a couple of hours later I get woken by torchlight (flashlights) and some guys in plainclothes with Carabinieri (state police) ID telling me to move. I spent the rest of the night next to an upturned rowing boat on the beach, not a good night's sleep. In the morning I caught a local train to Turin with no breakfast, had a cheap coffee in Turin station and some chocolate bar from the shop and got on a train heading to Venice. I arrived in Venice station at about 4pm and saw the next train into Austria wasn't for another 4 hours. Getting hungry around 6pm I went out of the station and found a pizzeria, where I got a very nice pizza to go with my last lire and ate it on the platform. I forgot to mention that this was before Euros existed so for such a journey one had to have 4 currencies, Spanish pesetas, French Francs, Italian Lire and Austrian Schillings, and it was impossible to know in advance how much of which currency I'd need per country and inevitably the handful of coins from Spain and France didn't help me in Italy and so on. Anyway after eating my pizza I was sat on a deserted station in Venice, killing time (no smartphones or wifi back then) and looking forward to the Austrian Railway train to Vienna which would be the last leg of my journey, although my town (Bruck an der Mur) was before VIenna, I'll come to that later. Austrian Railway 2nd class back then were compartment carriages in which the 2 rows of 3 facing seats on each side could be pulled forward and flat to meet in the middle forming a huge triple bed, so I was looking forward to a proper night's sleep at last after 2 nights roughing it. 5 minutes before the train was due the empty station platform suddenly filled up with about 200 Italian guys with green rucksacks and very short hair, obviously soldiers going back to their unit after a weekend on leave. I wasn't assertive enough (back then, now I would be!) to get on the train in front of them and found all compartments full so I had to sit on my rucksack in the bit by the toilets between carriages, so much for a nice lie down, grrr. They got off at the last stop before the Austrian border sometime around midnight, I guess that they were Alpini (mountain troops) and finally I got my own compartment where I could get some sleep. The train was due in Bruck around 4:30 so I asked the conductor to give me a wake up call prior to arriving. When I woke up it was after 4:30 and when I looked out the window I could recognise by the landscape that the train had already passed my stop and was in the Semmering mountains! I grabbed my bag and went to get off at the first station we stopped at which I think was Spital am Semmering. There I was in a tiny station with not even an open waiting room, and I sat on the platform for nearly an hour before a regional train came, the first of the day I think, to take me back to Bruck where I arrived at around 6:15. I then had to get a bus down the road (20 minutes) to Kapfenberg where I lived and worked and of course by the time I had got to my apartment, around 7am, it wasn't worth going to sleep as I had to be in the office by 8am at the latest, so I just put a pot of coffee on, had a shower and went to work feeling rough as feck and tired.
So yeah, a long story I know but it goes to show travelling can sometimes be really easy but other times it can be terrible even in Western Europe. Despite that I wouldn't want it not to have happened otherwise and look back on it as an adventure. As I hope you too will look back on your trip across Russia!

@John Smith Максимум что я проводил времени без еды это была одна армейская неделя, когда мы из учебки в западной части страны добирались обратно - на Дальний Восток и вместо сухпая выдали мизирной компенсацией деньгами. 90-е годы, остановки лишь на вокзалах и аэропортах, где цены гораздо выше. Деньги улетели в первом же аэропорту Краснодара, при этом продуктов нам хватило на один раз - в аэропорту поесть.

Простая истина - никогда не экономьте на комфорте и здоровье, изучайте то, за что вы платите. А когда речь идет о долгом периоде, а не коротком времени, получается, что сам себя наказываете. Моя мама называла это термином из девиантного поведения.
Обычно в наших поездах, которые более 24 часов движения всегда есть вагон-ресторан...! Может девушка просто не знала об этом в расчете на типичное западное обслуживание пассажиров прямо на месте 9 что и у нас сейчас потихоньку вводят ) у них это либо сразу входит в стоимость билета либо оплачивается дополнительно)

@@woronwronsky3237 в прошлом году в поезде общались и мне говорили что на западе поезда лучше. Вагоны современее и т. п. А нам жителям Сибири и Дальнего Востока достаются старые вагоны.

Если хотите в поезде кушать горячую пищу, но не хотите питаться в вагоне-ресторане, то есть смысл взять с собой несколько разных армейских сухих пайков, лучше российского производства желательно офицерские. Сыровяленая колбаса для бутербродов, ну и на первый день запечённую курочку.)) И если есть желание сэкономить на стоимости билетов то покупайте их заранее, продажа билетов начинается за два месяца до отправления, как правило это выходит в два раза дешевле.
Алиночка, на будущее: если путешествие на поезде будет больше одного дня, то
1. Приготовь заранее еду, которая не портится - на много дней пойдут орехи, вяленная или копченая рыба и вяленное мясо, сыр твёрдый, копченый сыр, простой хлеб (лучше не белый). На короткие расстояния - пирожки, оладьи, вареный в кожуре картофель. Доширак, конечно, можно, но это ерунда.
2. Неминуемо станет скучно. И батарейка на своём смартфоне не вечная. Поэтому - книги, поэтому - запасная батарейка!
3. И лучше не в одиночестве. Можно даже в плацкарте.
В любом случае, ты встретилась с проблемой и ты её решила! Это хорошо, это правильно! Человек только так и растет, преодолевая свои проблемы! Рад, что ты стала мудрее и победила себя ещё раз!
