2 Important questions. When we first sign up and create our Nav account, should we use our Business EIN number instead of our DUNS number?
And some people teach, we don’t have to put in our SSN when they ask for it. We can choose to skip that option.
Should we put in our SSN or is it not important to use. I guess to keep business separate from our personal profile?
Great questions: this is a credit monitoring service for your business so you'll need to give them all the information they ask for if they are to monitor and build your credit. Logically thinking, why would you only give them partial information and expect maximum result?
You can skip the SSN if you want. Means nav won't be able to find your personal information.
Think it's important for to understand what these numbers are for:
Ssn: is for PERSONAL CREDIT. if you want an organization to see your personal credit then give it to them.
EIN: tax id for an ENTITY (trust, business, state, nonprofit, business). This allows other businesses and the government to find your business.
DUNS: This is used to build BUSINESS CREDIT so vendors can find you in the DUNS System and issue you business credit
@@thecreditprotector Thank you for answering. My personal credit is bad, so I was hoping to keep my business separate from my personal until I fix my personal but I won’t be able to start fixing it until I build business credit.
So when I start using vendors like quill, I’ll be using my Duns number and if they ask for my EIN, then I should put that in as well , is that correct?

So what's the point of the debit card when the charge card acts as a debit card and reports to the agencies?
I ask the same thing about any debit card... Why use a debit card at all when we have credit/charge cards?? Debit cards in general serve no purpose
The point of the product in general is to have 2 Tradelines reporting to your business credit.

So if i have $50 will they give me $50 credit limit
