Thanks for your videos. You make these machines more approachable. Have you seen a P660 that leaks oil from above/behind the bowl lift worm and puddles on the base? It almost seems like its from the front of the motor. Is this common? I cannot figure out where mine is slow leaking from.
My apologies for responding so late In regards off your question very likely that your losing oil trough out the front motor Bearing also the seal around the motor between the motor and transmission case has an O ring that also over time expands and oil finds its way out again first motor bearing seals fail second O ring fail so those are the potential suspects
i have a dough hook that is stuck on the Shaft, any tip removing it. i've tried dropping wd40 oil, and heating the Shaft. the hook is still stuck. does this mean i need a new Shaft and new hook? thanks
Hi there thank you for your question In regards of a hook stuck in place it’s almost impossible to get it out with a torch,wd40 etc believe me we did tried in the past . So you’ll definitely will need a new hook shaft can be saved if cutting hook properly with out damaging the shaft Solution is get some type of cutting tool fine the chunky section of your hook that is between the beater pin and the locking socket of the hook that’s the best area to start cutting off the hook ,most of the times i have done it the beater shaft is not damaged by the saw obviously we know where to cut. This is what we do when we run into this type of problems we had never been able to get a hook that was seized or lock in place So hopefully my answer is helpful …

Sorry for such a late reply Blown motor I wish you were more specific but am guessing if your motor is burned out I needs to be rewind my rebuilder that I recommend is in los ángeles Eurton Electric If you don’t have a local motor rebuilder
@@calucoelsv it's all good buddy. I traded it in towards a newer h600. Mine was from the 50s lol. The local Hobart repair service company didn't even have a schematics for the engine. It was hilarious.
