I can't comment on a National level. However Jenrick is my local MP and whenever I've talked to him he has always been very knowlegable about local issues and has always delivered on what he has said he would do.
I cannot buy into the argument that the next Tory leader will never be PM, as the Labour vote was so small despite their huge majority. With the Labour government also starting so poorly, there is huge potential for the new Tory leader and the suggestion that whoever wins will just be a caretaker looks way off to me.
These 2 candidates will garuntee that the Tories will be out of power for another 10 years. Willam Hague comes across sensible compare to these far right candidates.
Labour majority is by no means iron-clad. But I truly think we've moved past the time where the Tories are the default Right-Wing leader party in the UK.
I kinda get that but the next leader is going to end up alienating at least one wing of the party. Cleverly could potentially straddle both but if you go for a Jenrick/Badenoch, not only are they not particularly talented speakers but they'll try to lean into the Reform vote which didn't get them anywhere last time.
I guess each to their own but I've also been rooting for Kemi because I think she'll really hurt the Tories electoral chances. She's EXTREMELY polarising and not particularly likable. I think she'll perform badly at PMQs and fall into obvious traps set out by Starmer. She has a small posey who REALLY likes her. But the country at large does/will not. So bring her on I say! X
Jenrik will win and take the Tories further right.

Please god give us Kemi 🙏🙏🙏
Why ?
@@parallaxview6770 she would be a great leader
Absolutely - She'll make the Tories even more unelectable.
@@boomsatsuma1544 nah..she has the full package to do the job

Badenoch couldn't win an egg & spoon race & Jenrick was a junior SS Officer (tragically shot on the Eastern Front) in a former life
Tom Tugen-hart, isn't it part of the job to pronounce peoples names correctly? Badenoch also often mispronounced
JENRICK, JENRICK JENRICK
At least 15%-20% of Tory voters will never vote for Badenoch. The Tories better be careful.
I,ll have a tenner on honest Bob winning that.
Tweedledum or Tweedeldee .
Dumb or Dumber
The choice is obviously Badenoch. Who even is Jenrick?
The Tory members are on average 75 + and a bit racist they are not going to vote for a West African leader.
