Mario’s come a long way speaking English. Such a humble, amazing guy. He was super sweet to me and my girlfriend when we met him a few years ago. My favorite drummer. 🙏🏻
Same..... met him behind the venue in NY while they were filming "Evil Mario". They had sold special meet and greet passes (which I didn't pay for) and he still signed my ticket stub. And it was funny, stupid me didn't bring a sharpie so he even grabbed one from a random roadie passing by. I was kind of star struck, embarassed but is one of my most favorite concert memories. I think Joe did ignore me haha, but I understand if they didn't want to attract a crowd. But the next time they are able to tour the US I do want to do the meet and greet and I still really want Joe to sign the same stub. ....side note, my Jeep makes a small cameo in the NIagara Falls Evil Mario vid when they blow up the Code Orange tour van. lol
I met joe and mario in their new york studio a few years ago, and you are 100% right. There was a girl there who asked if she could sit behind his kit and get a picture and he said sure, took her phone and took the pictures himself, when she got up to leave Mario was like "no, you have to play something". At first she couldn't believe it, but once she started playing mario was rocking out like it was a pro behind the kit.....dude was so freakin cool.

literally although i had heard this band before this album came out they hadnt come up proper on my radar now literally i think they are just wow this album ha s got me into their earlier stuff really hoping to see them when they come to the uk next year and so humble a s well and just so amazing
Mario seems to be such a lovely person ! I really enjoyed when he explained the importance of communicating peacefully. That interview made me even more hyped for the album. Also good job to the interviewer letting him the place and asking interesting questions. Peace ! ☮️🙏🙏🙏

I met the band a few years ago in a meet and greet. One of the rules was that we couldn't take selfies with the band as there would be a group photo at the end. However, Mario came up to me and my friend and offered to take a selfie with us. We took it, he did an Evil Mario face, signed my Gojira tattoo and the next day, I had his autograph tattooed on me. Such a humble guy and one of the best drummers in the entire genre.

Mario rlly pushed himself on FMTS, Way of All Flesh and L’enfant Even on Magma, there’s some pretty challenging stuff (The Cell, Pray) Generally, Mario simplifies his parts for the music but he always finds ways to throw in technical bits and never at the expense of the music

I think it was "Sphinx" though that was one of the tracks I liked a lot while listening. I will let the fans rate and not do any rating myself but I highly doubt it will disappoint any of the fans of the band. They remain as unique as before with this album =)

France is pretty cool too and Gojira is the best thing France has given the world. Gojira wants to save the earth and all its creatures. Finland wants to keep to themselves and listen to METAL. America on the other hand...
Instead of a live stream they should just do live studio videos like with Inferno and Global Warming, but for some of the songs on the new album. The extra bit of production value in that outweighs it being "live" on stream. I could see them being able to make more from a live stream tho so that's understandable especially not being able to tour...those studio videos are great tho.
