      I was going to put the time down so people did not the to wade to the end but you beat me to it. :) And after all that, it was not helpful to me at all, because I am not interested in a ROUND pool. lol

    Great video! Do you recommend the 18 foot Intex foot XTR or the 20 foot Prism Intex pool? The XTR is said to be better quality but they don’t make in a 20 inch for the depth we want. Only a 20 x 48 and we would prefer 52 inches deep. is 2 feet that big of a difference?

    Chad, you have great videos. Very practical, very clear and concise. You do a great job of building up to your point by laying a foundation first.

    I love your video series! We've been struggling between a 12x24, a 12x28, and a 16x32.. One big consideration is the "leftover" space on the yard after plopping any size pool. The 16x32, for instance, requires that we place the pool on a different part of the yard than we originally wanted. HOWEVER, we do entertain and also I would love to have a few more feet for doing laps, so the tradeoffs are better location for the pool, or better swimming length...
    Decisions, decisions...
    Anyway, thank you for putting these videos out there for us to learn! I wish you guys were located in Washington State.

    How's it going Chad? This is only the 2nd video i've seen of yours, and I'm amazed on your knowledge about pools. I've been trying to find out how many gallons of water does a 15' - 48" above ground pool hold? I think it's around 2,460, but I want to be sure. Thanks

    What's the best depth. We want a 14 or a 15 footer. Our choices would be 3 1/2 or 4 foot seep. Thank you

    Quick question, if you get a 52" high pool, is that the total hight with top rail? I am digging out mine and trying get it to be level with my deck

    • @abovegroundpros
      @abovegroundpros  3 роки тому +1

      That's all going to depend on the particular framework that you purchase. Your best bet is to pull it out of the box and put the top seats on top of the post and take your own measurement

      @@abovegroundpros thank you. As far as the Cement pad you put under the uprights, can some of that pad sit inside the pool area? And then put sand over top?

    Great educational videos. I am wondering what shape and size pool you would recommend for me if one of my purposes for the pool would be to do laps and get a workout. I'm used to doing laps at my gym and naturally I'm thinking that the bigger the better for exercising purposes.

    • @abovegroundpros

      Oval would probably work best. Just find a length that you prefer for laps and keep in mind that it must fit your yard as well.
