The Shinobi franchise on Genesis is a religious experience for me. All three games have kickass music, level design, perfect difficulty curve, nice use of color, and even neat little bits of cultural references. Revenge of Shinobi is probably my favorite Genesis game.
I wonder why everyone's always concerned about the SNES version of Ninja Warriors. It's on a bunch of different platforms and in the arcade as well. This was an early episode so we may revisit the topic in the future.
Kaze Kiri for the PC engine (CD). Cool, simple game that plays more like a beat'em up / brawler than a side scrolling action game. It's one of those rare titles that go for quite a bit of money ($150+ I think).
It is! Did we mention Turbo games in here? I can't remember without rewatching or checking the episode guide. Still, it was certainly part of the 16-bit generation of consoles. It played with the big boys!
I always loved the original Shadow Dancer in the arcade. When it came out on the Genesis I was a little disappointed that it wasn't a direct port. But through the years I have learned to appreciate it for its originality.
You missed a game for SNES called Ninja Warriors. That game is fucking awesome and one of the best soundtracks of all time. Also Sega released Ninja Gaiden for the Genesis.
I owned that game twice, once when it released and the 2nd time when I started collecting (before the game was relatively known on yt). It was seen as a B rated Snes versioned sequel to the original and not really appreciated at the time by hardcore gamers who frequented arcade parlors which was the makeup of a vast majority of teens. Looking back it's definitely worth a pickup but far from the hype driven $100 tag on ebay for a loose cart, game simply doesn't carry that kinda weight to price ratio unless it's cosmetically brand new and you're still paying top dollar. 3yrs ago $100 could still fetch a collector 3 complete mint in box or sealed new Neo Geo Aes titles off ebay if you knew how to shop...I replaced my entire collection complete with triples for each favorite title doing just that (flushing out semi used looking titles and snagging new mint boxed titles left n right before the popularity trend-train arrived). The trick to collecting is to see the gems before everyone starts digging, an asset I've been aided with thanks in part to having experienced a large volume of titles per system during their respective time also made possible by having a large number of relatives and friends who were also very hardcore gamers at the time and a few still are even in their 40s ...the compliment to that experience was never purchasing the same titles my relatives owned which is what they did first with exception to the "must own" classics that I just needed to have. Ninja Warriors, Ninja Spirit, Ninja Gaiden arcade & Nes versions' release debut and Snes Trilogy, Shinobi arcade and Sega Master port, Revenge of Shinobi, ShadowDancer, Turtles in Time etc etc we owned all that garbage (an expression) rocked all those titles when they were spanking new at the time including many uncommon ones...thanks to collecting we've gone back to em. Congrats if you managed to read all this retro talk, hehe.
lightsouthaha Agreed for the most part though as plain cut as you put it in terms of searching out those type of titles. Snes is an easier avenue of collecting in terms of those niche titles because a large majority of what's valuable is and has always been relatively well played, owned, rented by then active hardcore old school gamers. Not all relatively unknown, unnoticed or overlooked gem titles are made by small developers which puts a sleeper on those that never experienced the title during it's respective time because they will always follow the mainstream (and where the advantage of first hand experience lies) in part brings me right back to my point...many are just plainly overlooked titles made by well known developers until a hollytuber makes a proper review on said title. The Sega Genesis is a perfect example of a completely underrated system with pound for pound one of the greatest libraries of all time, the problem is a large majority of it's gems are the lesser known titles that are a few layers in and a remaining decent % of the high valuable titles in terms of collectibility are well known but completely overlooked (thanks to sites like *metacritic*)...again until someone with the right amount of viewers wakes the masses up so you see it's not as easy as say let's just target the small developer with niche good titles it's the firsthand experience in remembering those gems and identifying those we overlook that keeps us ahead of the curb so the question now becomes how do you know which title will all of a sudden become sought after???? The answer to that is identifying them even if they've been just overlooked or underrated and the big asset there is experience because sooner or later even the popular suppressed titles like Altered Beast or Buster Douglas Ko boxing or Atomic Robo Kidd or Whip Rush etc get their shine. So experience is the biggest advantage because not only does it allow memory to tap into but it gives easy access in identifying those types of titles near instantaneously even if you've never seen it or played it before...it usually takes me 5 seconds to identify a good sleeper title that's worth the quick investment, thanks for the comment bro stay good!!
lightsouthaha ..and yes I agree Ninja Warriors Snes is definitely worth the pickup just not worth the 100$ tag for a loose cart off ebay..Snes is great to collect for as I own a large majority of the titles I like but it's also p4p the most overrated system to collect for in terms of dollar amounts for already popular titles...demand pushing prices is one thing but price gouging through the roof is another it's became near abusive for the beginning smaller collector trying to get their hands in. I'm an ebay seller also but price my stuff at it's appropriate lower end prices for high quality product.
lightsouthaha Definitely feels chronological and I see what you mean...you're absolutely right, the system themselves while well known eventually get their turn with the masses and become "hot" (in trend) to collect for which drives demand through the roof. I've been lucky with my favored systems but the crowd has now caught up to what used to be the niche systems like Turbo, Pc Engine and Neo Geo for example. The Sega Genesis was one of the latter popular systems that non-Genesis collectors and Nintendo "only" collectors decided to merge into and I witnessed those Ebay prices skyrocket in a matter of 6 months with local shop shelves all of a sudden selling out in what seemed overnight, 3yrs ago mint boxed Genesis titles could still be found cheaply still *mint in boxes* and by the lot at local retro stores in my area but as you said the chronology collecting of the masses catches up and everyone now wanted to collect for the Sega Genesis. What's partially contributed to that chronological timing is that the masses are now thinking a lot more pro-actively than in the past (racing against the clock) something a small number of collectors in the past namely completionists used to worry about but prices has now forced everyone to race ahead, in mostly the same directions and at the same time. I still remember when the mass youth started stepping in to collect retro, I no longer found myself by myself at vender tables at local flea markets or alone inside GoodWills and Thrift shops....I would hear the retro game conversations from the younger kids coming up which I found somewhat a little funny at the time yet fascinated that the younger crowd was appreciating the generations they never lived. Thanks to them I had to start waking up earlier Lol, then they started getting smarter and doing the same hehe good times. By the time the retro collecting hit mass popularity with the younger audience around 06-07 when many entering the market were still looking around for Super Mario Bros 1-3 or Castlevania hehe I already had a very basic but well rounded foundation of classic titles and also had the popular systems. Anyhow good times and memories searching for the titles that we so much craved just to find out the following morning that the franchise or title you never cared for was now found fascinating and seen as the greatest thing on earth....and today the saga continues for those gems. :)
most absolutely. This game was only for SNES, not genesis or any other 16 bit system (arcade does not count), and I LOVED it. 3 different robot ninjas that played very differently with a great level of challenge and combat system to boot.
You guys should try out Ganbare Goemon 2 for the Super Famicom, it's a sequel to The Legend of the Mystical Ninja and it's MUCH faster and MUCH better ;3 And also The Ninja Warrior also on the SNES that is an AMAZING sidescrolling beat'em up with AMAZING music!
Yeah I played that recently and it seems a lot better than the original Ninja Warrirors which was kind of bland. I imagine at some point we'll talk about it.
I know that Neo Geo games are pricy, but there are 3 ninja games on that console: Ninja Combat, a side scrolling beat-'em-up, Ninja Commando, a top down run and gun, and Ninja Master's, a fighting game. All three are available on Virtual Console, and for the Japanese PS2 anthology collection ADK Damashii.
That's not cheating, is a trick of the game. Just select 00 shurikens in option mode, leave it highlited, and after a few second it changes to ∞ (infinite symbol).
Brian Suda dude it's all medaphore of Ninja's not Tutrles with respect!having to mention Goemon as the Mystical Ninja game was insulting enough, btw the one N64 was way better.backto the point: still Ninja game are suppose to be taken serious not laughed at is what this review was about.
Those games, while great, had nothing to do with moving and feeling like ninja. It was just beating the crap out of waves of robots. And besides...in what way did that incarnation of TMNT ever act like ninja?
I have a guilty pleasure for Inindo: Way of the Ninja for the SNES. Not really like these games as it is more of a turn-based RPG. Not for everyone, as it involves some grinding and random battles. But I've played RPGs all my life and I take those as a given. But you play as an Iga Ninja, you recruit a couple of allies, go into dungeons to learn some ninja skills to eventually take on Oda Nobunaga who is trying to take over Japan. You can even do some real ninja stuff like spying and snooping (that's what ninjas mainly were for, they only fought if necessary)
They do say ALL ninja games. And I did play Ninja Warriors a bit as a kid. And I had a Genesis, not a SNES. I'd rent the game just to play at my neighbor's, not even kidding!
Revenge of Shinobi wins for me, gotta agree with Dave. It´s just got a really cool style and loks less cartoonish than the others. It does play a bit slow, but therefor everything is very well designed and well thought over.
I absolutely loved Revenge of Shinobi the level design and the playability was awesome but what was the best thing about it for me was the unbelievable soundtrack by the the legend that is Yuzo Koshiro. Just when I thought Shinobi couldn't get any better then Shinobi 3 comes along my god they did everything right in terms of a sequel to Revenge of Shinobi and although Yuzo Koshiro didn't do the soundtrack to it it is the only soundtrack I have heard that is anywhere near as good as his work if not better.
I'll watch and/or play anything with ninjas in it. ROS and SD for Genny are as awesome as you say. S3 never gelled with me fully, but it is quality. Need more ninja vidyas!
Anyone in the comments who mentioned Ninja Gaiden for the Genesis, well, you know then that they're a fan of console emulation, bc it was never commercially released. The only place you can play it is via a ROM of the unfinished game that got dumped on the net a few years ago. It's buggy and has stuff missing here and there, but still probably would have been worth a mention. XD
I am a Shinobi fan for life, but I must admit, Hagane is pretty good. Difficulty is not a problem, as long as it's worth it to git gud at the game. And in Hagane case it was totally worth it. Still, Shinobi III is my favorate 16-bit ninja game, but Hagane is a very good effort.
What about Ninja Cop (Five-O) for the Gameboy Advance - I know it has 32bit processor but - the game was made by Konami in 2D sprites fashion, still holds on very well - nothing 3d fancy that could be compared with any Xbox Original title - more a SNES game ported to a handheld.
I happen to have revenge of shinobi with spider man and batman! I guess that's a great thing as the revisions take out the good stuff. I think Yuzo Koshiro AND Hitoshi Sakimoto are the best composers of the Era. Have you ever heard the soundtrack to "Devilish" on Sega Genesis. The sound is so beautiful that I shed a tear when hearing it. I am serious! It's that good. Devilish is a great game too. Takes the formula of the atari game "Breakout" and expands it by adding progression.Underrated title
There's also Ninja warriors for the MegaCD and PC Engine CD, and "Ninja Warriors Again" for the SNES, the Neo Geo also has it's ninja games: Ninja Combat, Ninja Masters and Ninja Commando and its also a 16bit system ;)
This was a balanced review! I have to agree! Revenge of Shinobi was and still is an excellent game! Alot of people complain about the double jump and the pace of the game but I personally see no issue wither either mechanic! I think that those that complain about the game simply are impatient about learning how to play the game. Unlike today's games, you really have to invest time into such games such as these!
Firstly, Turbografx-16 is, contrary to popular belief, an 8-bit console, NOT a 16-bit one. It had an 8-bit processor coupled with a 16-bit GPU. Secondly, you missed a whole host of ninja themed titles. For a start, there is Ninja Warriors on Sega CD and Ninja Warriors Again for Snes, Strider 1 & 2, and a really cool game from the makers of Strider 1 called Cannon Dancer / Osman. Several Neo Geo games featured Ninjas, such as Ninja Commando, Ninja Combat, Ninja Masters, There is also Revenge of the Ninja on Sega CD, Run Saber for Snes, a port of the arcade game Shadow Warriors for 16-bit systems, Ninja Spirit, 3 Ninjas Kick Back, The Last Ninja Trilogy (Remix, 2 and 3 were released on 16-bit systems), Ninja Mission, master Ninja: shadow Warrior of Death, Sword of Honour, Dragon Ninja, Super Ninja Boy, Budo: The Art of Ninja Combat, One of the main stories in Live-A-Live on Super Famicom was centred around a Ninja, too. If I'm being pedantic, I could also suggest Joe and Mac Caveman NINJA, NINJA Baseball Bat Man, Surf NINJAS, NINJA Clowns (based on 16-bit hardware), Zool: NINJA of the Nth Dimension, ZOOL 2, Ninja Rabbits and International Ninja Rabbits. and I'm sure I've missed a couple more - after all, there were tons of 'em!
@shubibinman To me ninja games have ninjas in them dressed in fairly typical ninja attire using fairly typical ninja weapons. Strider runs around with his face in full view and doesn't throw any "ninja stars". :) I'd describe Strider as its own unique stye of action platformer.
I bet you both know this by now but I will say it for everyone else reading. Legend of the mystical Nina was based off a real life historical Ninja. Hence the Japanese name Goemon.
Legend of the Mystical Ninja is about. Goemon. A real life historical Ninja from ancient Japan. Well it's not accurate to his story but it uses his name in the Japanese version.
You really should check out Inindo: Way of the Ninja. Very much a ninja game, though it's an RPG. Very Japanese in its design, and you travel along ancient Japan siding with or against feudal lords. Nothing else like it that I've played since. I don't consider the Romancing games the same.
Ninja Warriors Again is one of the best games on any 16 or 32 bit system. Mystical Ninja is a real ninja game because the game is based off of Ganbare Goemon; a ninja manga/anime in Japan.
Just wondering-during the section on Shinobi 3, I never saw you guys using the running feature. If you double tap the D-pad and hold down after the second tap, you run much faster and can do an invincible running slash. It's pretty much the biggest gameplay difference from Revenge of Shinobi, and it makes the game much faster paced than it's predecessor.
If I had to port an arcade game and remove a level, I'd remove the third last level, assuming the game had 6 to 8 levels. Chances are, a lot of Arcade players may not have gotten to level 4, 5 or 6, so it might go unnoticed. And those who did beat the Arcade version, will most likely remember the second last and the last levels, but something intermediate, that's not too close to the beginning may even go unnoticed.
i'm not sure if you guys forgot this, but i do know of another ninja game on SNES called ninja warriors again (and it's predecessor ninja warriors, which i haven't played) it was a 2D beat em up which was pretty damn fun
Joe, did you use any kind of alternate video output? I don't get a good image as yours even in my PS3 port of Revenge of Shinobi. I use HDMI cable. Any tips??? Congrats for you both for the channel!!!
You guys missed Strider for Genesis, Ninja Warriors for SNES, Run Saber for SNES, and the TMNT games. Too bad Ninja Baseball Batman was never ported to SNES; it would have fit like a glove!!!
there is another game for TurboGrafx everyone should know, Kaze Kiri Ninja Action an amazing CD release. I'm surprised you don't love Hagane, is one of my favourites for the system.
As much as I love your show, I do have to sat I am somewhat disappointed in this episode. It wasn't the lack of quality or anything like that... It's just.... There was no trademark "That's exactly right Joe" after stating what the episode was to be about. How dare thee!! You don't understand. I get so excited that I actually say that line along with Dave. This time, I said it while he did not, thus making me look like a fool! ------ ....wow. That went way too far. Anyways, keep up the great work. Love the show
Okay two things: first off, I love how the clips of you playing Revenge of Shinobi used the infinite shuriken trick. The best way to play. Second, I always felt Shadow Dancer in the arcade was a better game than the Genesis version; it was a true sequel to the original arcade title.
Every time I think I watched all the past Game Sack episodes I find one or two I missed. And damn Hagane is hard, fun game for a bit but glad I didn't buy it. (I would if by miracle I found it for a reasonable price, but to me not worth over $20 unless reselling for a profit of course)
Well... My main concern is that you mentioned in the video that the games you showed were the only ninja games for the SNES, and without Ninja Warriors, that can't be so ^^
The Shinobi franchise on Genesis is a religious experience for me.
It's different on snes....😁
Shinobi 3 is legendary game, that helds up amazingly well from 16bit times. Its still a blast to play its perfect.
Love it!
Super Ninja Boy is also on the SNES I used to love that game.
Shinobi III. Tied with Streets of Rage 2 as my favorite Genesis game. Best ninja game ever.
Shadow of the Ninja is the best Ninja game, hands down. Music, graphics (for an NES title) and gameplay. Just awesome.
The ninja warriors snes
Shinobi, Shadow Warrior, Revenge of Shinobi, Ninjawarriors Again and Ninja Spirit and Kaze Kiri are all my favorite 16bit/Arcade era ninja games.
I would've included TMNT Turtles in Time, but this video felt like they were talking serious ninja portrayal.
+moviemetalhead Turtles aren't real ninjas, they don't wear pijamas
You missed a game for SNES called Ninja Warriors. That game is fucking awesome and one of the best soundtracks of all time. Also Sega released Ninja Gaiden for the Genesis.
Ocelot04 You said it! Ninja Warriors is awesome!
I owned that game twice, once when it released and the 2nd time when I started collecting (before the game was relatively known on yt). oh wait... "6 years ago"... shit
Very good video, although you missed 3 Ninjas Kick Back; Strider Returns and also Zool: Ninja Of The Nth Dimension
Yeah I played that recently and it seems a lot better than the original Ninja Warrirors which was kind of bland. I imagine at some point we'll talk about it.
Ninja Spirit is awesome; love the music and atmosphere of that game. One of the darker ninja games you can play.
It is awesome, but you should check out the arcade version. I like the music on the Turbo bit the arcade is in another league.

Thanks for the info on Hagane, I just ran down to my local Blockbuster and picked up 2 copies!
LOOOOVE Shinobi 3...I just love the action and music in it. Love reveng and sadow dancer as well though
How could you forget Ninja Warriors on the SNES?? That game was incredible!!
@123doomdoom No, Dave forgot that one. It was his responsibility to remember all of the games I forgot.
Strider is the only mentionable one you guys missed.
He is a Ninja, actually.
or teh robot ninjas de NINJA WARRIORS
Whhat?
Yeah, I was just thinking "isn't Strider a ninja?".
ninja warriors
You guys missed Ninja Warriors for snes. A beat em' up featuring robot ninjas!
That's not cheating, is a trick of the game. Just select 00 shurikens in option mode, leave it highlited, and after a few second it changes to ∞ (infinite symbol).
I'm digging Dave's Game Sack t-shirt with a modified Little Tikes® logo. I used to love Little Tikes® when I was 4 or 5 years old.
That's Nintendo nes era font.
Technically you missed the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games.

All the 16-bit ninja games??
What about Ninja Warriors/Ninja Warriors Again on the SNES?? That game was AWESOME!!
They missed, indeed :(
The title of the video is "Some Cool 16-bit Ninja Games"
They do say ALL ninja games. And I did play Ninja Warriors a bit as a kid. And I had a Genesis, not a SNES. I'd rent the game just to play at my neighbor's, not even kidding!
Well I think they meant in the context of what they owned or all the ninja games for the episode. Pretty sure they know about Ninja Warriors.
One Man Parade Dude they were pretty clear about being ALL THE NINJA GAMES. And they even counted Goemon.
Legend of the Mystical Ninja is such a fun game, even if yo-yos aren't traditional ninja equipment.
This will be covered in a future episode. Hopefully soon.
Oh Colorado, that explains why you guys sound baked all the time.
I can't believe you guys keep leaving the Taiwan only 16 bit powerhouse the Super A'can. It was, like, all ninja games!
What about Teenage Mutant "NINJA" Turtles on the SNES and Genesis? I know they're still kind of kid ninjas but those games were a blast!
Shadow Dancer is my favorite Ninja game too!
Revenge of Shinobi wins for me, gotta agree with Dave. It´s just got a really cool style and loks less cartoonish than the others. It does play a bit slow, but therefor everything is very well designed and well thought over.

Still own Shadow Dancer and Shinobi III... 1-hit kills are unfair and blocking is op. Both are still pretty fun games.
I'll watch and/or play anything with ninjas in it. ROS and SD for Genny are as awesome as you say. S3 never gelled with me fully, but it is quality. Need more ninja vidyas!
Wow, brutal camera work on the katana slice at the end! :-O
They turned Godzilla into D-Compose
@chinitosoccer1 AFFORDABLE game systems of the era! :)

Revenge of Shinobi and Shinobi 3, are some of the best genesis games.
Ninja Spirit on TG16 is my fav ninja game.
and revenge of shinobi.
You missed Ninja Gaiden on the PCE. Even though it's a Japanese only game it has a code to unlock the English translation! Super cool IMHO
u missed the ninja warriors snes
Will remedy the situation in about 5 weeks.
+Game Sack thanks for the reply love the channel man good stuff
Check the latest episode that went up today if you haven't already. :)
Would Batman be considered a semi-Ninja game since he was trained as a shadow warrior AKA "Ninja"?
Several Neo Geo games featured Ninjas, such as Ninja Commando, Ninja Combat, Ninja Masters,
There is also Revenge of the Ninja on Sega CD, Run Saber for Snes, a port of the arcade game Shadow Warriors for 16-bit systems, Ninja Spirit, 3 Ninjas Kick Back, The Last Ninja Trilogy (Remix, 2 and 3 were released on 16-bit systems), Ninja Mission, master Ninja: shadow Warrior of Death, Sword of Honour, Dragon Ninja, Super Ninja Boy, Budo: The Art of Ninja Combat,
One of the main stories in Live-A-Live on Super Famicom was centred around a Ninja, too.
@Super90sGamer It's a portable game! :P I picked that one up $10 brand new a few years ago.
@shubibinman To me ninja games have ninjas in them dressed in fairly typical ninja attire using fairly typical ninja weapons. Strider runs around with his face in full view and doesn't throw any "ninja stars". :) I'd describe Strider as its own unique stye of action platformer.
Ninja Action Kaze Kiri for the PC Engine Super CD is my favorite ninja game for that system. Its very rare but its alot of fun
I bet you both know this by now but I will say it for everyone else reading. Legend of the mystical Nina was based off a real life historical Ninja. Hence the Japanese name Goemon.
Revenge of Shinobi and Shinobi III are two of the best ninja games around, throw in Strider and Hagane and you don't really need anything else.
Ninja Turtles Hyperstone Heist, Turtles in Time, -Ninja Gaiden 1-3- pack, Ninja Gaiden Turbo Grafx 16 too name a few more...
Awesome! I still have revenge of shinobi and shinobi III.
Saw title. Thought, "I wonder if Shinobi will be mentioned?" Thanks for not disappointing. :P
the legend of the mystical ninja has always been my most favorite snes game
Legend of the Mystical Ninja is about. Goemon. A real life historical Ninja from ancient Japan. Well it's not accurate to his story but it uses his name in the Japanese version.
You really should check out Inindo: Way of the Ninja. Very much a ninja game, though it's an RPG. Very Japanese in its design, and you travel along ancient Japan siding with or against feudal lords. Nothing else like it that I've played since. I don't consider the Romancing games the same.
I love the outro.
You also forgot Ninja Warriors/Ninja Warriors/Again! Probably one of the most awesome action games on SNES. Can't believe you guys missed that.
Ninja Warriors Again is one of the best games on any 16 or 32 bit system. Mystical Ninja is a real ninja game because the game is based off of Ganbare Goemon; a ninja manga/anime in Japan.
I didn't see it mentioned in the comments, but there's a rather obscure Neo Geo game called Ganryu that's similar to what's been shown here.
There are actually a handful of ninja games for the Neo Geo, but they’re all either beat em ups or one on one fighters.
Hey! what about Ninja Boys, for the SNES, one of my favorite games of all times. A very good Co-op/RPG
i'm not sure if you guys forgot this, but i do know of another ninja game on SNES called ninja warriors again (and it's predecessor ninja warriors, which i haven't played) it was a 2D beat em up which was pretty damn fun
Too bad Ninja Baseball Batman was never ported to SNES; it would have fit like a glove!!!
fantastic end of this episode 😀
I only just started playing revenge of shinobi, good to know the jump is just tricky I thought my controller might be knackered
I use to love Ninja Combat for the Neo Geo
LOL You forgot to press "play". :)
This video is very useful thank you!
great! i really like your videos, they are awesome. keep up the good work
Like alot of people here have mentioned. TMNT, Strider, Ninja Warriors...are all missing. And so is the RPG ninja game, Inindo: Way of the Ninja.
You guys forgot ninja warriors for the snes, one of my favorite beat 'em ups from that era
there is another game for TurboGrafx everyone should know, Kaze Kiri Ninja Action an amazing CD release.
------
....wow. That went way too far. Anyways, keep up the great work. Love the show
You guys should of shown Ninja Warriors for SNES, which was better than the Arcade version.
Okay two things: first off, I love how the clips of you playing Revenge of Shinobi used the infinite shuriken trick. The best way to play. Second, I always felt Shadow Dancer in the arcade was a better game than the Genesis version; it was a true sequel to the original arcade title.
looking forward to it!
Preeeeeetty sure the blockbuster thing is a myth.
Every time I think I watched all the past Game Sack episodes I find one or two I missed. And damn Hagane is hard, fun game for a bit but glad I didn't buy it. (I would if by miracle I found it for a reasonable price, but to me not worth over $20 unless reselling for a profit of course)
I am surprised they left out Ninja Warriors Again" in snes.
...TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES!!! TURTLES IN TIME!!!!
Also, I had no idea you could duck under that laser at 3:26. I always double-jumped over it...
ninja gaiden sigma on the vita is awesome. it's not 16 bit but it's one of the best I've played
Ninja Gaiden I think was also on PC Engine which adds the tally to 3.
*talks about 16 bit ninja games*
*plays music from shinobi legions on the Saturn*
Yeah, it's background music. Nobody thinks you are clever btw
I wasn't really trying to be but ok.
No clue. Never had the OST.
it's not a game that came out during the Golden era, But it's 16-bit... Ninja 5-0. Actually, a pretty good game.
how about an episode featuring Famicom cat games?
Well... My main concern is that you mentioned in the video that the games you showed were the only ninja games for the SNES, and without Ninja Warriors, that can't be so ^^
