HF Survival School thank you buddy! Hope all is well and I really look forward to owning one of your knives! Also I always look forward to watching your new video!
What a beautiful work! Thank you for sharing secrets of the craft. I'm making a survival knife out of an old file. Good hardened steel. I 've never mastered the art of handle making. I wonder if eucalyptus and olive are good materials for knife handles? Also i find it ironic that video like this gets 70k views, with all the passion, effort and dedication poured into it, while some 15 "vlog" by few spoiled brats, containing absolute nothingness gets 50million views... what a strange world. On the other hand, i'm glad those people don't know how to make a knife or light a fire in a damp forest ;) Doubt they can eat "vlogs" when emergency happens.
Hello you can buy them on etsy : www.etsy.com/shop/bushcraftshop or on my instagram at hf survival school or nicks bushcraft shop , buying on etsy adds fees and will be a bit more expensive , buying directly will be cheaper and better wood will be used , but I do have a 20 order wait list at this moment. Thanks Nick
Awesome Craftsmanship ,beautiful knife!Glad your back buddy ! Hope all is going better and I wish you a great 2018!!! Gonna go check out Etsy right now!God Bless to you and yours!!
Классики и современники, а руки довольно молодого человека. Хороший ножик получился, но для буша... или fulltang или сквозной монтаж. Мое мнение, оно конечно же может быть ошибочное.
HI , well it's in your interest to remove as little material from blade as possible for its longevity, in my experience I have over stropped blades meaning it rolled over after too much maybe after few wrong strokes and I had to start again with the 1000 grit stone

Is that a Lauri blank? Which one?
Как я понял Рэй Мирс незримо присутствует в каждом походе))))
Did you make the blade blank? Beautiful job by the way!
Thank you very much ! I buy rat tang blades like in the video but I forge full tangs by myself
Take care
Nick
@@HFSurvivalSchool if you don't mind my asking where do you get the rat tang blades from?
Hi there... Is that blade a Lauri?
Are you still making knives? I'd like to buy one from you.
Hello , yes , you can visit my website www.nicksbushcraftshop.com , choose what you like and email me at hfsurvivalschool@gmail.com
Thanks
Nick

@@HFSurvivalSchool thank you, I have just started to make knives and this looks like a very sturdy, simple ,cool design
HF, great videos..Just caught you over at the Prepper Forums and subbed you....Question...Is it possible to over sharpen a knife?
HI , well it's in your interest to remove as little material from blade as possible for its longevity, in my experience I have over stropped blades meaning it rolled over after too much maybe after few wrong strokes and I had to start again with the 1000 grit stone
Make a knife? I saw him made a knive’s handle only.
ტარი რა ხეა? და ლითონი?
Are you doing this on the balcony of an apartment?
Yes , what can I do , that is the only place where I can put the vice
Thanks for watching

@@HFSurvivalSchool И русская пегая гончая у вас тоже в квартире живет?
Not hand tools. Also super unsafe to flex a drill bit like that.
