There’s a lot of information to be dissected at this point in the story, but honestly with you two I wasn’t worried at all. You’ve been two of the most thoughtful and insightful reactors for this show I’ve seen thus far, and I appreciate just how much care you put into your discussions and ensuring you have a proper grasp on the story (as evidenced by the 50 min runtime lol) 👍👍

True. The only problem I see with them is they keep pausing and having the discussion mid episode sometimes right before their questions are answered by the episode. But they really are great. I would put them just below AutoSave who's arguably the best react channel.

Guys you didn't catch it.. so ONLY eldian blood or the eldian nation can turn into titans..so if a marleyan took the injection he wont turn to a titan.. Thats why marley uses the eldians for war..
Also that means reiner berthold and annie are eldians fighting for marley
- Paradise refers to the Island which the Walls are located on. Where the whole show has taken place for the past 3 seasons
- only eldians/ "subjects of ymir" can turn into titans. So the people of the interment zone and the people of walls.
- when ymir died and split into 9 titans, it refers to the ones with special abilities controlled by humans. Armored, Colossal, Beast, etc..
-marley is able turn eldians into pure titans. They cant create ones like the colossal or armored. Titans with special abilities are inherited, when they're eaten by a pure titan, who will then revert to a human with the power to transform.

It's so beautiful to see people rewinding the episode to understand it better! I'm tired of people not understanding what's happening in season 4 because they didn't understand things that were already revealed before.
every titan you saw from the beginning of the show wasn’t a titan from the start, it was an eldian human ( a subject of ymir ) who got injected and turned into a titan. And only subjects of ymir can turn into titans once they get injected that’s why people outside the walls hates and fears them, calling them demons.
therefore marley kept eldian people not because they sympathise but to USE THEM. they have the power of titans so instead of killing them they used eldian people as a weapon making them warriors who inherit the 7 titans they got. they brainwashed eldians into thinking that they have to atone for the sins of their ancestors, and that they should dedicate themselves for marley.

It's not rich and poor people. It's Marleyan and Eldians. It's more of a racial hate. It's not about social injustice here, but more about hatred toward a race, for something they did in the past.

Isayama-sensei kept hinting. The most important clue is always in sight, all the characters have German names. The surname is Eren, there is the name of the breed of birds of prey "Yeager"
"Yeager" is a German surname that means "hunter", not a bird of prey.
They didn't consider the fact that eren took his power from his dad and grisha in this episode obviously doesn't have the power and the owl titan looks like Erens. Guys connect the dots
You never realized that "Erwin's father/brother", "Krista's father/brother", "Annie's father/brother" actually turned out to be Eren's brother. Titan Beast Zeke Eren's brother, Zeke Yeager lol
The map we see when Grisha's father is telling History is the map of our world upside down. Paradis Island is Madagascar and the Marleyan country is the African continent.
Only Elians can turn into titan.

Eldian people are the only ones who can transform into Titans. According to Marleyan history, the Eldian Empire dominates the entire world and spreads anarchy. One day Marley defeats the Eldean Empire and positioned 7 of their Titans . That is why the Eldean king fled with his men to an island and surrounded His subject with three walls to protect them. The Eldian people who were left behind today live in a concentration camp inside the Marleyan Empire. You can find many similarities with a certain real world country of mordern day (you know who).

Ymir split to 9 titans each one of them has a different ability and power. and for over 1,000 years eldians were inheriting these titans by injecting an eldian to turn into a normal titan with no intelligence, once this titan eats one the nine titans he becomes a titan shifter.

The Armored Titan, The Colossal Titan, The Female Titan, The beast titan, The Cart Titan, Eren’s titan and Ymir’s titan are all Special Titans that are either inherited through eating or transferred to a random person through death (if someone cut their necks and they die).
They are indeed part of the set of 9 Titans born from Ymir Fritz’s death 🙏🏼🫶🏼

When I first watched this episode I noticed when small Zeke was playing with his toys that he was the beast, not earlier (when Grisha said his name), so I assume that his name has not been revealed yet in the previous episodes so that's why they didn't react to his name.

First things come first : Eldians are the only people who can turn into titans. Marleyans are normal people without any special power, just normal humans. To be exact, the people who can turn into titans are all the descendant from Ymir Fritz, the very first titan who obtained her power 2000 years ago. ( Don't you remember the title of the very first episode of the show ? ) That's why Marleyans use Eldians as weapons. Titans are for them weapons, and to use them, they need Eldians. Because Eldians are the only one who can turn into titans.
The Nine Titans Ymir was split into are the Nine "human" titans who can turn at will. The nine titans are nine special powers of titans that some Eldians can use. Every other Eldians turned into dump titans without any control or conscious.
In Marley's History, Eldians were conqueror that unslaved and raped them. That's why they hate so much Eldians. They hate what they did with their power of titans. As a revench, they are doing the exact same thing that Eldians did to them in the past. It's a cycle of hatred. Poor and rich was never a subject or a main theme in this show. It's all about revench. Marley want revench on Eldians. But Eldians of these days are themselves wanting revench on Marleyans, or accept the guilt of their people, like the father of Grisha.
The Great Titan War : It happened before the three walls were built. We know nothing about it, except that Marley was able to rally seven of the Nine "human" titans to their side. Thanks to that, the King of the Eldian Empire who ruled over the world flee to Paradis Island and built the three walls we know. (Maria, Rose, Sina.) The King who built the walls is the exact same king who flee from conflict. There is only one Founding Titan, and this is the one of the Reiss familly. There are two branches of royal blood. Reiss and Fritz. Reiss is the one who inherited the Founding titan, that has the power to control and lead all Eldians, and titans. ( Titans are all Eldians. Don't forget that. ) Explanation to why there are no titans in the world too. All of the titans we saw so far were on an Island. Since we never saw them swimming... The Continent was never touched by any titans, only at the time of the Eldians Empire, who used them as weapon to conquer nations.
The first king of the walls erased the memories of his people. That's why they never knew about the war happening between them, Eldians, and the Marleyans on the continent. And yes this the the same king who was influencing the Reiss familly. He is their ancestor from 100 years ago.
There are others nations in the world. Marley is not the only one. So, they use the remaining Eldians of the continent as vessels for seven of the Nine titans, and used them as weapons for war. You'll understand why Eldians are fighting for Marley later. That's all for the global situation. If you understand the global situation, it will be easier to understand why the characters are doing what they are doing.
Now that you know only Eldians can turn into titans, because they are the descendant of Ymir the first titan, you know that the people inside the walls were fighting against their own people this entire time. Isn't that the biggest ironic and messed up situation possible ? Eldians from the walls were eaten alive by their own kind. For both Eldians eaten or the Eldians turned into titans, it was a nightmare.

Attack on Titan is a MUST rewatch show. The second time I watched it was even better for me. You realize how much of it was already in action way before its revelation.
It's good to rewatch this episode pausing whenever you need to read important information.

Guys, I speak Spanish but I've seen this show with subtitles in English, I recommend you to watch it with the Crunchyroll sub, translations there in my opinion are way better and a bit shorter, wich means more easy to digest (especially season 4, its narrative can get very dense some episodes)
