I like Howie's glasses, and how he dyed his beard to match them is pure genius.

I recently discovered 'Really? no, Really?' I know Jason has been lamenting a bit about doing a podcast, LOL, but this is so good! I love it. The conversations are interesting, meaningful and funny. I've been hearing a lot that the social media trend is trending towards more authenticity and feeling connected for the viewers, and this podcast does just that! Thank you, Jason and Peter for being willing to do what you are doing, putting yourself out there and delivering this to us.

Jason, at 48.28 you make an excellent point about people criticizing things. I've used this principle for years in very specific situations - creativity. I've never gone into meetings asking the team, "Give me your ideas." It's very difficult to create on the spot (if not impossible). That approach is always boring. Instead, I've gone into meetings presenting a plan, a solution, an approach and asked folks to give me their thoughts on what was presented (of course, they know they are allowed to criticize what was presented, otherwise they will be just as silent if they think the boss will exact revenge on criticism). People are very quick to criticize, and through that proclivity, those meetings become creative. Anyway, good point.

On top of "everyone is a critic," people now are also offended by everything. Everyone is a victim. And if you are not directly a victim, you can still be outraged on behalf of someone else. I guess this makes those people feel relevant.

Before I get to my constructive critique, I would like to begin by saying “Jason, I’m a huge fan of you. I cannot go to sleep without watching you carry that hit tv show you starred in in the 90’s” 😅
I love the podcast so far. Don’t hate me but taking away the bell was definitely a good choice. Love the guests you’ve had on so far! Not a fan of the intro song but we move on yep…
    My constructive critique:
I get that most of us probably hate the sound of our own voice when listening to recordings. I mean can you imagine if you downloaded an audiobook and the person narrating had the exact same voice of the user listening to it? (Sorry for that callback….) what I’m trying to say, and I’m no audio expert by any means… is that both microphones; but particularly Jason’s, have too much bass. It gets to point where if you are both talking at the same time, we literally can not distinguish one voice from the other and it ends up sounding like a thunderous roar. Really, no really!
I for one, would much prefer to hear the contrast of your natural voices. We don’t both have to sound like Howard Stern’s mic. Hell, Jason’s mic is even emitting feedback every time breathes which I’m assuming is due to the filtering or sampling of his voice.
THAT BEING SAID, I hope you are aware of how deep I had to dive to find anything bad to say about this podcast. I mean, a microphone? Really? NO, REALLY?!?!
Love everything else so far! ❤ please don’t take this criticism to heart at all Jason. As I said, I’m a really big fan and just wanted to help you as you have helped me fall asleep every night with your antics.
