The first run is the hardest for me. Very out of breath after 50m but then the second run is a lot easier breathing wise. Keep it up! Build on the previous run 😊
I’ve been off and on with my running journey for the past two years post college and i’m currently aiming to run a half marathon next year. i’m watching from Alaska! just found your channel while looking for some motivation to watch while i run indoors on my treadmill, since it’s the middle of winter here and way too icy to attempt an outdoor run right now. cant wait to keep following along with your videos!
Wow that’s so cool! Alaska 🤯 we would love to go there one day and I could imagine it would be freezing! 🥶 Thank you so much for the support and good luck with your Half Marathon training 💪🏼
I'm a back of the pack Runner and had my best 5K early October After running 1 to 3 times a week most of the year with some breaks in between like a week or two. I just haven't been able to get back into it because I do have some goals of braking 30 minutes on my 5K trying to find the motivation and consistency to get there😅
I can't even run for like one minute at a time, even doing the jogging movements (like, the tiny bit of time in the air and the bounce) at my normal walking pace is impossible for more than 2 minutes : ( I really want to get into it though, so I'm currently trying to implement daily walks, to build that time spent in intensity zone 1 (like, the space where you can hold a conversation), to build my aerobic base and when I get that up to 5.5-6km/h (walking), I'll try to introduce some running. ETA 1: Editing as the video goes on, I live in Europe and I know from my father (not running specific), that if you exert yourself it doesn't matter how cold it is, if you tend to sweat a lot, you will sweat. I know that my father comes home very sweaty after doing distance skiing for a few hours, at like -15C in the snow. It's the reason why if you go running in colder climates, you wear sweatwicking thermal gear, meaning it removes moisture while keeping you warm (if it's not sweatwicking you have a higher chance of cooling out quickly due to the sweat cooling down)
That’s a great plan! Definitely keep at it and you’ll be hitting your goals in no time 😊 Oh okay! That’s interesting, maybe one day we will experience running in such climates 🥶
Hey!! It's great to see what you're doing. I've also just finished week two of the couch to 5K having not run for a couple of years. It's tough but it's great to see someone else going through the same thing (I also can't talk after the runs!). I'm in the UK so it's currently getting cold but I still sweat, lol! A good app that I use is the couch to 5k NHS app. I think it's available for other countries and it has a picture of a running boot and text as the cover.
Twins! It’s really nice to hear that other people can relate 😁. I would love for it to start getting cold here! We are currently experiencing a heat wave lol. I’ll have to have a look into that app and see if it’s available in Aus. Thank you for the suggestion ☺️💕.
Yay on getting onto but that really sucks about your knee 😔. 100% don’t be hard on yourself! Rest up and hopefully you will have a full speedy recovery 😊❤️.

Love this! Doing the couch to 5k right now myself, also aiming for a half marathon next year maybe!
Yesss 👏🏼. Sounds like we are on this journey together ☺️🏃🏼♀️.
Me too!! Good luck

That such good progress!! Yeah it takes a while to get into the rhythm of things but so easy to get out of it 😅. Don’t worry, we both got this ☺️

I recently started a running program, but got runners knee in the third week so have been resting 😶 and trying to not be hard on myself
