@Dan Tirels Greetings from the USA! I would love to get a print of this particular piece but I was unable to find it on your website. Can you please tell me if it’s possible to get a print of this absolutely incredible epic masterpiece? What is so amazing about your art, which there are countless amazing things, is how many elements can be depicted if one truly studies this piece, which to me it’s just an incredibly awesome form of art all its own! Truly, what you do is so unique leaving each finished work as a OOAK (one of a kind) piece that goes on telling its story forever. If I look long enough, I can see all sorts of scenes, elements, pieces, depictions, etc. taking abstract art to a whole new level of pure utter bliss! Although I am a graphics artist for 20+ years, I am mostly on the newer side of painting. I just now got my painting studio set up with all my supplies and I’m ready to begin my new adventure, and I would love it if the very first piece of art that I display on the wall in my art room for inspiration is this piece right here that you so eloquently, beautifully and masterfully brought to life in this video! I am absolutely in love with it! It’s beyond perfect! Please let me know if you get a chance… Thank you so very much!
Wow! That's some response to this video, I thank you for such a positive view of this piece. I know what you mean when you describe seeing many things within the painting, one of the joys of this process is the journey that your work takes, it is often a surprise and it doesn't always work out the way you expect. I hope it provides you with encouragement and inspiration. You will find a link to my Teespring shop below the video. The title of the painting is Effervescence and it is now available as a poster in 2 sizes and also as a Tee shirt in various colours.Thank you for your interest and support of my work, all feedback is always appreciated.
Dan Tirels Awesome! Thank you so much! And yes that is what is so amazing about your technique… It’s like a ton of different elements and scenes shine through what some people might view as just abstract chaos, but I see many pictures it’s awesome… Please keep up the great work! Thanks again and God bless!!!
Dan Tirels hi. None of those links took me to tee spring and I checked your website but couldn’t find Effervescence. Could you provide a direct link to it above in the description?
I always have these pareidolia experiences when watching Dan Tirels ' videos. Watching his process is always magical and full of surprises. This is better viewing than anything on the television!
Thank you - my work is always too solid and you have let me see a way to avoid that. No talk - no distracting music - absolutely relaxing and informative. Just how it should be.
I used this method to create what felt like my first painting. I need and want to continue learning drawing skills. This technique gets me developing an understanding of composition and lets me work at understanding color. And it encouraged me not to throw the whole palette on at once!
This is a beautiful demonstration and I am pleased that so many people have viewed it! All your videos should have similar views, in my humble opinion. Excellent and thank you!
Hi Dan--Thank you for inviting and allowing us to view some of your techniques for producing your artwork. During the creation process, you produce your own rhythm, tempo, timbre and beat while letting the materials and momentary feelings extend into a reproduce-able period on substrate. Thank you for sharing the journey.
Thank you very much for your positive comments. I try to film the videos so they are an accurate representation of the creative process rather than a " How to" video, it isn't always easy to explain the intuitive way I create some of these artworks but I hope that by filming in a certain way it represents an edited version of this technique. Thanks for watching.
After watching this video, I was inspired to try my hand. Have to admit, I am happy and find myself in a peaceful place when I fo. So, thank you for inspiring me.
Thank you, I'm pleased to know that you have found inspiration from this video. This really is a great technique to experiment with and with just a little practice it is possible to achieve excellent results. Good luck with your work.
Je ne cesse de la regarder je suis toujours émerveillée chaque fois cela m’inspire beaucoup dans ma pratique de peintureMerci pour toutes ces belles idées!
Love the painting and loved watching u do it and so amazed how a brush was not used to create this beautiful piece! Thank you for sharing your techniques!
Beautiful! I wasn't sure where you were going with the aqua-blue at first and didn't like it. But now that I see the finished product, I understand that the blue is foundational to the work and I like the painting a lot. Thank you, Dr. Marc
I'm overwhelmed by the response to this demo. Thanks for all your comments and feedback it means a lot to know that the video has provided some inspiration. I try to respond to all comments but sometimes I miss them, but I appreciate your support and look forward to producing a new demo. Thanks for watching !
Dan, you’re an absolute genius. Your creativity is astounding-equaled only by your generosity in sharing it! Thank you for your inspiration and know how!!
Thanks for this! I had a large canvas with cut out magazines letters and didnt know what to put over it..so I tried your meathod and so glad I did! Amazed by the new and easy technique! Thanks again!
I saw your video and couldn't wait to try it out. I decided to use the same color scheme and got to work. Once I had 3/4 or so of the painting done, I stood back and looked. I was disappointed with it as it had no redeeming qualities at all the way yours did. I'm impatient and wanted the very first attempt at this new technique to be a home run. I turned it 90 degrees. Still awful. I turned it 90 degrees more. WOW! I couldn't believe what I was seeing. There, plain as day was the image of George Washington. It lacked detail, but was definitely him. I added some detail and a flag using your technique for all of it. I am so happy with how it came out. I wish I could upload a pic. Thanks, Dan. I've now watched many more of your instructional videos and am learning a lot.
Thanks it is always good to hear from people who have found inspiration from the videos. It is a great technique to experiment with. If you visit my website you will find a gallery of viewers work that has been submitted from all over the world. Please send work to be included if you are happy for it to be seen. website : dantirels.co.uk
I really love this painting . I don’t really know why....I’ve never cared for this type of painting before but, every color, every line can be read in my mind. . The past ,present and the future comes through each stroke . Thank you for opening my senses .
Thank you so much 😀 This was filmed over a few days, so although it does look like a simple technique it has taken a long thought process and a lot of planning for the composition and colours.
I was at a loss as tp how to add depth to a watercolor/photo montage until I came across this idea--loving your creative silence also--very rare and appreciated !
I really liked watching this video. How all the colours and structures became a very interesting picture to look at. Especially after the black at the end was put on, that made it complete. There is so much to see and still it is not chaotic. Thank you for again a very inspiring video. This time with acrylic which was a surprise for me.
This piece is so full of movement and yet it’s restful as well. Your videos are very pure with just sounds of the materials moving. Really a great experience to watch and listen.
OMG... talent: technique, colour theory, process, on and on... and probably the most therapeutic video I've watch in a long time. I'm now both relaxed and inspired!! Thank you for sharing this and I'm amazed that it's 3 years old (at the time of this writing).
This is a very cool idea for backgrounds! I wonder...when the back ground is complete, you can do something similar with a black paint on you plastic sheet and do like a line sketch of maybe a nude, and "draw" or trace a picture. You should get a similar effect to a mono-type print. Very cool idea indeed. Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks, I think this technique has lots of possibilities and you can make it work for your own particular style. Great for landscapes etc. Glad you enjoyed the demo.
Love the Trace monotypes on canvas! Who needs a paintbrush? I’m amazed at how long the acrylic paint stayed wet. I will definitely try this method. Thanks for sharing it.
I was like omg, that blue, oh no! Then I was like that blue, yes, yes, perfect. I'm being silly. I loved watching you create this! Very refreshing piece.
Vey cool Dan! I've recently gone back to abstract painting after many years. Been racking my brain trying to figure it out again and your video's have inspired me! Layers, layers, layers! That is one element so essential. Thank you!
Glad to help! This is a very good technique to experiment with and you will achieve results that will surprise you. Good luck with your future creative explorations.
i can see a dogs face amerging at 9.48, a bit like a jack russel. I really love this, very spontaneous. Very good to see a painting coming to life in the moment. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much 😀 It is interesting to know what others see in this work. I sometimes have to make an effort to stop myself from seeing images as it would interfere with the process.

Abstract is free to create and imagine. Abstract is an exploration of taste in the soul of the creator. I like your work
Thank you so much for sharing this video ,love the fact that you don't say a word and just go with the flow!!!
I think you can learn more by just watching than me explaining as I go along. Thanks for watching

The technique is amazing. Were you taught this or just have an abstract idea to get the paint on canvas?
@@DR.B13666 I think I first did this when I was a broke art student, experiment with rubbish and waste materials, and no brushes to clean !
I respect the hell out of that. I try not to waste anything.
what is the paint product that you use? Looks like shoe polish. Is it just acrylic? Thanks very much
J'adore 😊😊😊vraiment fantastique !!
Dan, you’re an absolute genius. Your creativity is astounding-equaled only by your generosity in sharing it! Thank you for your inspiration and know how!!
My pleasure!
Have watched several of your videos and have begun to incorporate your monoprinting techniques into my paintings. Thanks for sharing your artwork.
Forgot to add that Instead of using a stencil I printed with bubble wrap.
Thanks, I always think its worth experimenting with different waste materials, I have tried bubble wrap and various forms of packing materials.
Thanks to my daughter 's teacher who teach this method to her and all studens. Now, she can do the same, she is 6 years !
That's great!
Thanks for this! I had a large canvas with cut out magazines letters and didnt know what to put over it..so I tried your meathod and so glad I did! Amazed by the new and easy technique! Thanks again!
