@@banski13you’re saying your rank like it matters. Its not linear bro trust me, I’ve figured some other combo paths out and its crazy, so has gbg ive noticed he uses them in his gameplay. When you figure out you will see. The only thing is tho pulling off a full combo in an online match is hard because of counters obviously. I even noticed you got to press the buttons faster than they come out when online because it plays so fast. This is also why characters will block mid combo and even turn around quick when you turn them around because you’re not pressing fast enough.

Do you have the game on steam? Enable steam inputs in the games properties -> controller in steam and you will get playsation symbols instead of xbox in game
What's the point of using the rush chain 'rolling hammer' in this game? That attack is supposed to spin the enemy around and put them with their back to you, but in this game, it's possible to block almost any rush chain (including rolling hammer) even when you're already in the middle of your opponent's combo. The only way to land a rush chain like rolling hammer or heavy finish is by hitting the opponent from behind. So... what's the point of using rolling hammer in the first place? Anyone will be holding R1 while you're hitting them from the front, and you'll never be able to land rolling hammer. It's absurd. And even if you charge the move, you´ll just break the opponent´s guard (which is fine but... it doesn´t spin them around). So basically while hitting your opponents from the front is kinda useless to try and use rush chains or other combo extensions (besides kicks or charge sweep), no? Also the step in attack after the 5 rushes where you have to choose neutral, up or down and the opponent needs to guess... what´s the point of that?? even if they guess wrong you CAN´T combo after! They can just guard again. You can go to traning mode and set the dummy to guard and then break them and try comboing, you´ll see what I mean.
@@blesseddlife combo game from up front is pretty pointless, yeah you can go overhead or low but there are few moves and even if you hit them and keep the combo going... it´s still the same the opponent can still guard against heavy finish, kiai cannon, rolling hammer, etc. You´re better off mashing square

Since you use your thumb for both buttons it will never work on high level defense!! because the time reaction of r1 to circle is significantly faster and adapted to the fingers!! r1 show finger or middle finger and circle with your thumb!! fastest way safest way best way!! instead of going from x to circle with the same finger with the thumb in this case!!! You will never be able to go to high level defense with classic!!! timing will not be right. Reactions will be just as bad!!! The game was designed with a standard set up in mind!!! I hope I could explain it to you!!

8:16 I love this game but I don’t agree with you here. The movement is kinda linear, you have more freedom and mechanics on Xenoverse than this game. This game has hand to hand combat (combos/blocks/guards) that is WAYYY more technical but the mechanics and movement are not free, it’s restricted compared to Xenoverse. This game feels like a Tekken type game just with flying added to it, it’s still a linear game/mechanics. Just like you have to stop the fight to charge up and your Ki not building up AS you fight like Xenoverse. Before yall come at me I’m a B4 Rank and I really enjoy this game A LOT, I just don’t agree with what he said, it sounded like glazing to me. If yall don’t agree with me lmk, we can run some singles battles to hash it out 🤣
