It always fascinates me how many people who know nothing about the group immediately identify RM as the leader comment on his ‘boss vibes’. Truly our president’s leadership charisma is off the charts.
So true. I've watched so many first time BTS reactions n I'm yet to watch one where ppl don't pause n point at RM n ask "is he like the leader or something, I feel like he is someone important in the group" n they dnt even know them. It's beautiful how BTS could've never escaped this life even if they tried, everyone's "position" is just so perfectly crafted for them it's ridiculous 💜✨
@@TreSotrueHe does. Apparently, to everyone except himself 😅. He still gets shy when praised as a leader but he just won another Best Leader in K-pop award days ago.

This performance is a medley, where BTS sings excerpts from 7 different songs: Like (2013), Look Here (2014), Save Me (2016), Outro: Wings (2017), Pied Piper (2017), UGH! (2020) and Telepathy (2020). The songs have meaningful lyrics, express feelings and are lyrically interesting. Therefore, I suggest you check out whatever captivates you most or makes you curious. But, I'll let you know right away that you'll be pleasantly surprised by the huge variety of songs and genres that BTS sings. They are simply wonderful! Especially their live performances, which transmit an unparalleled vibration and energy! 💜🇧🇷💜🇧🇷💜🇧🇷💜🇧🇷💜🇧🇷💜🇧🇷💜
When you asked to recommend their best song... That is the hardest thing to do because they have almost zero bad songs and they just ate every song they make.
BTS are 7 members from South Korea that debut in June 2013 made up of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. 6 of the members are currently serving their mandatory military services. 1 of the members just finished their 18 month of service a couple weeks ago the other 6 are do to finish about this time next year. Since 2022 they have mostly done silo work much of which was pre recorded before they enlisted. The last group song we got was TAKE TWO that was pre recorded so 2 of the members could be part of it and release June 2023. They have a huge discography as a group and as individuals. Their debut they were more rap heavy and r&b feel but they are honestly very versatile and have done numerous genres. Their debut songs were from their 2 COOL 4 SKOOL EP one was NO MORE DREAM the second WE ARE BULLETPROOF pt2 . BTS stands for BANGTAN SONYEONDAN when translated it means BULLETPROOF BOY SCOUTS. Then just three months after the released a second album and have been nonstop since
😊 I've been a fan about 3 yrs & was mad i hadn't heard of them before! I saw their Mic Drop video & was like hold up wait a darn minute...who is this?! 😂 been a huge fan (ARMY) since! You heard Dynamite or Butter? Those are all English songs of theirs.
The one you thought was the leader, is RM... and is 100% the leader. :) Also... these are all B-side tracks; one from each full length album from their debut in 2013 until their album "BE" in 2020. I'm 44 and have loved a lot of music in my life and been to more live concerts/festivals than I can count... I have never known an artist for me before BTS, that had a NO SKIP DISCOGRAPHY! not album... DISCOGRAPHY! There a songs I listen to more than others, but there is not a single song of theirs or their individual members that I dislike.... that is over 400 songs. And NO concert I've been to has ever equaled seeing them live, and I've some of the heavy hitters live. BTS tops them all. Their stage energy is off the charts.
You said you were looking for some feel good music.. all of us ARMY always say BTS finds you when you need them the most! 💜 welcome and have fun falling down the rabbit hole! You won't regret it!
CC FOR SUBTITLES! Also... don't expect most Kpop to sound like BTS. They are their own genre and stand above the rest, literally. They have more success, awards, and $ than all other groups out of South Korea combined.
For their next songs, I recommend the official music videos for "Mic Drop" and "ON (Kinetic Manifesto Film)". You can also see their amazing choreography. (Make sure to turn on English captions!) While their full English songs (Dynamite, Butter, Permission to Dance) released during the pandemic era were popular and upbeat tracks aimed at bringing joy and hope to people during dark times, their true essence is captured in their Korean songs. BTS consists of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. RM is ou rprecious leader but there is no 'main guy' in BTS. As you've seen and heard in this video, everyone has their own area of expertise. They are currently all serving in the military to fulfill their mandatory service in Korea, with Jin, the oldest member, having recently been discharged as the first one. Before enlisting, they all released solo albums, and music they prepared before enlistment continues to be released. They will all be discharged by 2025 and resume group activities. (They've already signed contracts for group activities in 2025 before enlisting.) We always welcome reactors who react with an open mind and without prejudice. I look forward to your next BTS video!
RM's entire new album Right Place, Wrong Person is a whole other level. BTS as a group is genreless and their solo albums show distinct music tastes and vocal ranges of each member.
I feel my heart jump in my chest to see someone excited about them. The immediate amazement makes me squeal. So much joy in seeing new people discover BTS!
It’s hard to believe that you’ve never even heard of BTS, but I’m glad you found them. There are 7 members (3 rappers + 4 vocalists). They are from South Korea, so you’ll need to turn on subtitles if you’re interested in the song lyrics. Their fanbase is global and is called ARMY. Unfortunately, the BTS members are currently in the military, although the eldest just got out. We won’t see them as a group until 2025, when the six other members get out. But for new reactors there is more than enough content for BTS: music videos, dance practices, behind-the scenes, live concert videos, fan-based videos, Run BTS (their own variety show), and much, much more. I hope you do more reactions to BTS. ARMY will guide you to the best songs, the best videos, and the videos with the best English subtitles. Please react to JK’s Standing Next to You. He’s the youngest of the group. (The one with purple hair in this video).
I appreciate this 🙏🏼 I’m definitely going to check out more since this it’s really exciting to find some music that makes you feel good and that’s actually great nowadays
Well wow being the most famous band in the world it's amazing that there are people who have never heard our 7 Kings but then again BTS find you when you need them the most! So it makes sense. Do yourself a favor and put on the captions translation to most of the time the lyrics are in captions bts's music is almost always deeper than you think except for the English songs they are amazing and amazing people is the most important. Check out mic drop black swan and fake love they are known as best starting point
Welcome to the rabbit hole. It always makes me smile when new people find BTS. They are a diversified group with rappers and singers. Great dancers. Came from humble beginnings and have found success. I’m a 57 yo grandma that found them about six years ago. Welcome!
I've only just discovered them this year and I've watched so many videos and compilations of them that I feel like I've been an ARMY forever. I have definitely been missing out
My Dear thanks for your reaction to BTS, 7 young men fully of talent, musicians, composers, songwriters, producers, great singers and dancers, I'm 70 years old ARMY HERE,( name of BTS fandom ), I love them so much, Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Many people that think they don’t know BTS hear one of their English songs and discover they have heard them, be it in a video game or even a commercial. As someone earlier said, they do all sorts of genres and basically have a song for every mood💜
@@TreSotruespoiler alert: you most likely have heard Dynamite before. It was everywhere in the latter half of 2020 Dynamite and Butter are both 100% in English and they are their more “pop” sounding songs. Dynamite is disco pop and Butter is synth pop. That’s not the type of music I usually recommend from them, but it’s definitely their most well-known. On: Kinetic Manifesto music video is going to really showcase their hip hop choreography, because they are all great dancers. That’s the video that really won me over (though the song itself isn’t in my top 20).
There are so many different things I love about BTS. How much they love and adore Army, which hasn’t changed since before they debuted. But another thing that I love is the fact that so many fans of rock/heavy metal as well as hip hop fans have become Army. Their music crosses genres as well as pulls in fans of genres that might not otherwise become a BTS fan. There’s a channel where both reactors say they know nothing and aren’t fans of rap but they have come to enjoy what RM, Suga, and j-hope create.
Your reaction makes me so happy. This is literally how we all felt when we fell down the BTS rabbit hole. They are from South Korea and sing in Korean but are doing more and more songs in English now that all of them can speak it pretty well. RM is the most fluent in English but the other guys are catching up. They are all in the South Korean military right now, except for Jin, who was discharged last month after completing his service. Brother, you are just at the tip of the iceberg. Dive deep and have fun. Spoiler: They have ZERO bad songs. Every one is GOLD. It’s impossible to pick the best.
Your first reaction of BTS is this???? Bro!! 😂 You in for a ride bro!!! We, ARMY (name of the fandom) are not just stanning ONE artist, BTS but EIGHT different artists (7 members + BTS) !! Coz they all have their own solo albums too! Enjoy the journey bro.... will subscribe to your channel to check out your other BTS reactions and see how you doing 👀💜🎉
We're so excited that you found BTS, brace yourself for an exciting journey of discovery! They are from S Korea so first tip is to always turn CC on. They cover so many different genres so you tell us what genre you like and we'll come up with a long list for you to enjoy. I'll say start with ON Kinetic Manifesto. Songs like Dynamite and Butter have reached #1 in Billboard and are in English but the rest of their legendary songs are Korean or combination of Korean/English.
I’ve seen a lot of people saying the same songs I’m definitely going to check them out 🙏🏼 and I’m also glad I’ve found them honestly some of the best up lifting music I’ve heard
@@TreSotrue The original BigHit intro used to say "music and artists for healing" and it is said that you find BTS when you need them most. I am 67 and am here for their message. These young men are extraordinarily gifted and brilliant songwriters! They've been through hell to get where they are today and you can learn what each member brings to the group by watching the BTS Guide by Taylor Mari on YT. It will help you to recognize them faster. God bless, stay safe wherever you are. ARMY grandma
Every time I watch BTS ROOM LIVE, tears always leave my eyes when 잠실 (Telepathy) comes up, I not certain why, it's a very good song, especially considering when the album came out.
They all did individual albums last year before going into the military. Look for “V” slow dancing he’s the one in the green top , my favorite voice and personality!
BTS are something special. They do not stick to one genre of music & all seven members have successful solo music/albums outside of their BTS work, as well as on BTS albums..RM is the leader but not in the sense of he is front & centre of the group while preforming, they all end up front & centre through out their performances. They are writers, composers & produces both on solo projects & on group projects. Some of my favourite songs are actually their B sides & overlooked - Tomorrow (about never giving up, tomorrow is a new day), Hip Hop Phile AKA Hip Hop Lover (about their childhood hip hop music influences that are the reason they started training/learning/performing as teenagers), Attack on Bangtan (BTS means BangTan Sonyeondan in Korean) & Ddaeng (you will need to watch an explanation video to get all the Korean references but it is an amazing song by the BTS rappers & unfortunately it is not on Spotify as it was free song they wrote & gifted to us on Soundcloud). They a lot of free songs on Soundcloud to check out as well. They also have colabs with some of their teenage influences/icons, but I won’t give exactly who as that’s halve the fun of the journey & discovering them. They actually have 1 song ‘Spring Day’ that is still charting in the top 100 in Korea & has never left the chart since it’s release 7 years ago, but when you watch this one, please watch an explanation video or you will miss a lot of references to a Korean tragedy. They best explanation video are by Bookish theory & Italian ARMY (ARMY is the name of BTS’s fandom). I would definitely recommend watch Taylor’s BTS guide. If you have any questions, just ask ARMY will happily answer any questions about BTS. Welcome to the BTS rabbit hole 😂
A piece of advice: forget everything you thought you knew about BTS, haha. They are amazing artists. They all write, produce and compose their music alongside their in-house producers. The Rap Line (RM, SUGA and j-hope) makes more music because they have more experience (both RM and SUGA used to make music before joining the band - they started at 12) and always write their verses. RM is the main songwriter out of the members and SUGA the main producer but they all take part in their music Also, there is no "main guy" in BTS. They do have a leader though. RM, the guy that you pointed out but he's mainly managing the group. Think of it as a team captain, not a frontman. They do have set roles in the group so Jung Kook is the main vocalist and centre - you will hear him a lot and he'll be in the middle much more than the others The roles are: - RM (Kim Namjoon): leader, main rapper, Rap Line (1994) - Jin aka Kim Seokjin: vocalist, visual, Vocal Line (1992) - SUGA (Agust D as a soloist) aka Min Yoongi: lead rapper, Rap Line (1993) - j-hope aka Jung Hoseok: co-main dancer, rapper, sub-vocalist, Dance Line & Rap Line (1994) - Jimin aka Park Jimin: co-main dancer, lead vocalist, Dance Line & Vocal Line (1995) - V aka Kim Taehyung: lead dancer, vocalist, Dance Line & Vocal Line (1995) - Jung Kook aka Jeon Jungkook: main vocalist, lead dancer, centre, sub-rapper, Vocal Line & Dance Line (1997) There's a saying: "You don't find BTS, BTS finds you when you need them" 💜
Falling down the bts rabbit hole is going to worth it my man. They never disappoint. 💜💜. Also only 3 of their songs as a group is only in english. I recommend cc even though they do throw english words in there songs. And the one you mentioned that he gives you vibes of being the leader. You are correct his name is Namjoon, but stage name is RM
Suga said that whenever you find BTS, that's when they debuted for you. And you have about a year to catch up on a decade worth of group and solo projects before they're all back from service 😁😁😁 💜 I'm sure once you know what they're actually rapping you'll really fall for them. I don't know which you've done yet, but I'd enjoy watching you watch (and try to make sense of) Daechwita. It's a solo song credited to Agust D, which is another stage name for Suga. All their songs are good so it's really just what you'll enjoy. Dive in wherever you're interested, follow your curiosity. Lots of us came for the music and then saw their variety show (it's FUNNY funny) and other content... And learned more about who they are. And that's why we stayed. They're good people and we're proud of them 💜
Welcome to the rabbit hole. BTS is amazing they have been around since 2013, and they have a huge discography. Their fandom is called ARMY, so you will hear them mention them a lot, as they are one of the few groups who truly love and respect their fans. Most of their videos will have English subtitles so make sure you enable that if you plan to jump into more ( they are so worth it) their lyrics are very deep and meaningful. Yes they will have the occasional bop song, but most of the time their lyrics and MVs make you think. Their choreography is outstanding, and are one of the few groups who sound even better live. They started off as a hip hop group, and consist of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. Right now, 6 of the 7 members are serving their mandatory military service ( last around 18 months, and is required of all South Korean males), but they still are putting out new music that they created while they are away. They are amazing as a group, and just as amazing as solo artist, which each member having solo albums ( with the exception of Jin, who is working on his solo album now), but he does have his solo songs within the group. They have so many songs that cross so many genres that it is next to impossible to pick just one, and you will get a lot of suggestions from ARMY. I would suggest watching A Guide to BTS members: The Bangtan 7 by Taylor Mari. While the info only goes to 2022, it gives you the background of how the group came to be and who the members are. It is one of the best out there, and watching it really gives you an appreciation of how far they came. Sorry this is so long, but again they have a lot out there. Have fun.
You're actually really late because they started in 2013 but better late than never. This is also a medley of a few of their songs. So you're getting a little taste of their variety.
I can’t wait to now follow you and fall down the BTS rabbit hole Loved your reaction to our favorite group. You will get lots of support for this💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Right now they are all in military except for Jin he is the oldest he just got out. Number one group in the world. Over 1000 awards trophies. Every kind of music the fill venues in minutes with 90 thousand worldwide. Their fans are in the millions we are known to be extremely devoted they call us ARMY. Welcome to the rabbit hole!
Welcome to the rabbit hole. The voices and genres, the lyrics and incredible music will drag you body and soul into wonderful and thought provoking journey.
Thank you for your reaction to this wonderful, beloved group by all of us - BTS! And, welcome to our fandom!💜 There are already a lot of comments here and you have already been given information about the guys and recommendations... From myself I can say: BTS is an amazing group with a wonderful history, which debuted in 2013 with 7 members and which has maintained this composition to this day: no one has left the group and no one has been added. They have no equal. They are known and loved all over the world. They are the most popular and awarded group of all time. And not only in Korea. They are the only ones who have more than 1000 different awards at music awards and music shows at the moment. Who have broken hundreds of records (and are included in the Guinness Book of Records), who have 12 awards at the Billboard Music Awards and the title of Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards. They had six number one songs on the Billboard Hot 100. And at the moment, two more solo songs of BTS members Jimin and Jungkook have become number one on the Billboard Hot 100: “Like Crazy”, Jimin and “Seven”, Jungkook. Six guys from BTS currently have their own solo albums, and some already have more than one (except Jin). Everyone has their own solo songs. Now all the guys are serving in the army and therefore took a temporary break from group activities. They will come together again in 2025. But already in June 2024, one of the group members returned from the army, the eldest of them was Jin. BTS has the largest fandom in the world - ARMY. Who loves them very much, supports all their projects and protects them. BTS are the best! They are a legend! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 If you want to know more about BTS and each of the boys individually, check out BTS: The Bangtan 7 Member's Guide - Mari Taylor. BTS has a lot of amazing, beautiful songs with very deep lyrics.. First, listen to these songs of their earlier period: “No More Dream”(this is their debut song), "War of Hormone", "We Are Bulletproof Pt.2", "N.O", "Just One Day", "Boy in Luv", "Danger", "Dope", "I need U", "Silver Spoon", "Butterfly", "RUN", "House of Cards", "Save Me", "Fire", "Born Singer", "Not Today", DNA. Not all of these songs have videos, but there are live versions of them. Listen to them. And, also, more: "Butter", "Dynamite", "Permission to Dance" - these three songs are in English; "Louder than bombs", "The Truth Untold" (Live Stage Mix Lyrics), "MIC Drop", "Ddaeng", "Spring Day", "Black Swan", "‘ON’ Kinetic Manifesto", "Blood Sweat & Tears", "FAKE LOVE", "IDOL", "UGH!", "Outro: Tear", "Airplane pt.2", "Pied Piper" and "Dimple" (live performance- lyrics version), "Anpanman", "Magic Shop", "Yet To Come", "Run BTS", "Take Two". And further: “Fix You”, Performs (Coldplay Cover); “I’ll Be Missing You” BBC Radio Live Lounge; Tiny Desk (Home) Concert. Well, and of course, solo compositions and albums of the guys (I indicated the latest solo albums, but some members also have earlier albums): RM - albums "Indigo"(2022) and "Right Place, Wrong Person" (2024) Songs: "Wild flower", "Seoul" (prod. HONNE), "LOST!", "Come back to me". SUGA/ AgustD - albums "D-2"(2020) and "D-Day"(2023) Songs: "People Pt.2" (feat. IU), "Haegeum", "Daechwita", "AMYGDALA", "Burn It", "Snooze" (feat. WOOSUNG). J-Hope - albums "Jack in The Box"(2022) and “HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1”(2024) Songs: "MORE", "Blue Side", "On the street" (with J.Cole), "Doydream", "I wonder..." (with Jungkook), "NEURON"(with Gaeko & YOON MIRAE) JIN: songs - The Astronaut, Yours, Awake, Epiphany. Jimin - album "FACE"(2023) Songs: "Like Crazy", "Set Me Free Pt.2", "Lie", "Filter", "Closer Than This", "Letter", "VIBE" (Jimin & TAEYANG), "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band" (feat. Loco) - this is a song from his new album "Muse", which will be released on 07/19/24. V - album "Layover"(2023) Songs: "Slow Dancing", "Rainy Days", "Christmas Tree", "Stigma", "FRI(END)S"(2024) Jungkook - album "GOLDEN"(2023) Songs: "Standing next to You" (the song has a Remix with Usher), "Seven" (feat. Latto), "3D"(feat. Jack Harlow) - the song has a Remix with Justin Timberlake, "Hate You", "My Time", "Euphoria", "Still With You", "TOO MUCH" (The Kid LAROI, Jung Kook, Central Cee), "Never Let Go" (2024) And also, I recommend his presentation at Times Square NYC. And Jungkook Golden Live On Stage Concert. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
So, people have a misconception about kpop and bts as well Kpop isn't really a genre in the way the western world classifies it. Its more of an industry with a plethora of genres within. There are groups that are more strictly hip hop, there are groups that are rock influenced and pop influenced as well as groups that experiment with different genres Bts started as a hip hop group (with two if the rappers being from the underground rap scene and the other being a street dancer) that wanted to speak for the people and especially the youth of korea who didn't have a strong voice. Alot of people misunderstand bts and their music, especially in the west because most of the time the songs that get played are either their English songs or their more mainstream sounding songs (theres nothing wrong with those songs but it tends to make people see them as a generic boyband/popband and disregard them as actual artists) which unfortunately reflects on how outsiders see the fans as well (likening us to hormonal teenage girls when most of the fans are older than that, and are grown adults who are avid and genuine music lovers) I hope that you continue to look into more BTS and i would love to watch your journey in discovering their music and all the different genres of music BTS has done
I would recommend watching the BTS documentary by Purple Snow....it covers the group since their beginning and through the hiatus and their solo works since 2022...Taylor Mari is good but only goes to 2022 and my own personal opinion it left out a lot on the members...however it is shorter...perhaps if you don't want to spend 2 hours reacting to Purple Snow 's version...do watch it on your own...it gives a very comprehensive view of BTS and each of the members ....there are a few other folks who have some good early years documentaries on BTS which are worth watching as well...hos give you a more complete pi ture of why ARMY loves BTS and why they are so protective of them....welcome to the rabbit hole... ..Borahae
BTS is a rabbit hole that once you begin it, there's no turning back!! They are seven of the most genuine, kind, talented singers, rappers & dancers EVER from South Korea, and I LOVE watching people react to them for the first time-trust me, you NEED to keep going because they will blow your mind!!! All genres, and when you see their choreo you will flip out as well. Make sure you turn on English subtitles anytime you react to their videos-it helps a lot, but they also do some English songs as well. Welcome to BTS!!! You won't regret it!
You got it right!! The one you said you feel is the leader, is the leader. He goes by the name, RM. He's also the one who's most fluent in English. You should probably check out Mic Drop, featuring Steve Aoki. They have so many other great songs. I'm a 49 year old female living in Southern California and I'm proud to say I'm a part of ARMY (BTS FANS). I'm looking forward to checking out more of your videos. 😊
@@TreSotrue yes. He does solo songs. In fact, all of them have solo projects. So, You can enjoy and see each one with their style. RM, SUGA, J.Hope, Jimin. Jin, V, J.K. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 ARMY from Europe- Romania, 54 years old. Thank you for manifesting interesat in BTS ! Purple u! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
@@andreiareia1212omg! We’re the same age and both armys. Also, I’ll be visiting Romania in a few days. It’s so nice to know there are fellow armys in this part of the world 😊
i’m always so happy when a huge smile appears on people’s faces the moment they realize they love the music. also they have been doing mandatory military service since december 2023 staggered and the first member came back literally last month so there hasn’t been much in terms of full group songs but the solo music has been BUMPING so it’s impossible to say what their most popular song is
React to "A guide to BTS members: bantang 7" by Taylor. It's a small introduction to BTS. In 2022 they announced that they will enter military service. Jin (the oldest) was the first to leave in 2022 but he finished his military service this June. The group will only be complete again in 2025. They also have individual albums and continue releasing solo music. I recommend starting with the guide, then their songs as a group and also their music as soloists to learn about their different styles. BTS is a whole world, there is a lot of content to watch (always with subtitles). They are also very funny, they don't take themselves very seriously. And yes, RM (the one you mentioned) is the leader but everyone has their space to shine. They have been together for more than 10 years, they really love each other and support each other in all their individual projects as a family.
Awesome reaction. Thanks!! So many great recommendations in the comments. You can't go wrong. Just want to add - these 7 guys (in addition to being multi talented) are kind, humble, generous, intelligent and very funny. There are no ego's in this group, which is why they are still together and have no plans to leave each other. They have always done solo work as well. They even include solo work on their BTS albums. They encourage and support each other like true brothers and always refer to each other that way. They write about struggles, things they have overcome, reaching for your dreams and loving yourself. BTS is truly inspirational. Enjoy.
Just watched. Wait until you see them sing while doing their choreo. It’s hard for new comes to believe that they are really sing while doing it because their vocals are so stable. They have spent Year practicing their sing while running on treadmills. Some people call them Kpop but BTS are in a category of their own. There is no one else like them
RM is the Leader. I am a Black, 70 years young BTS ARMY fan since 2018. I got it so bad for BTS it is unreal. Welcome to the BU (BTS Universe). You have three rappers and 4 singers but they do it all. You got BTS group and the individual members singles and albums to go through. They have been a true blessing to me. Remember BTS finds you when you need them!
I love this comment so much. I’m an almost 47-year-old white lady and these young men make me happier than just about anything in the world. It’s impossible not to love them.
Things to remember when watching a BTS music video or performance video. Always turn on the closed captions, make sure to play the video to the very end. This video is a medley of seven songs, most of them are B sides, not title tracks. BTS debuted in 2013 in South Korea as a Hip Hop Idol Group. They are a Global Supergroup, and they can all rap dance and sing, but their are 3 rappers, and 4 vocalists. They write and produce the majority of their music, and they they have a fanbase of over 350 million fans (BTS ARMY). How do you not know about BTS? they are all over the Billboard news and charts, they have been a presence at all award shows, they have songs that are in commercials and everywhere. They've been interviewed and peformed on James Corden, Jimmy Fallon, Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel, The Voice, America's Got Talent, and so on. They have sold out stadium tours and their fans ARMY are known all over the world. They are a Global Supergroup. I can't choose one song that is their best because they have over 10 years putting out music as a group and as solo artists. They have over 400 songs.
I know many people who do not know of BTS, just saying. “How do you not know BTS?” Can be an off-putting statement for newcomers. I didn’t know about them until 7 months ago. I am pretty sure that is not the kind of vibe that you were trying to send, but it does read that way. I found your comment very informative, thank you!
@@beth5870 It wasn't meant to be offputting, I genuinely want to know how people do not hear about them. Even though I didn't know them until 2020, I knew of them from Billboard shows, Jimmy Fallon, etc. I didn't look into them until 2020, but I knew of them since when they were breaking into the US Market around 2018. I guess people really don't keep up with the news and happenings in the world.
@@tracydowd4013, I really didn’t think you meant it in a negative way, I just wanted to make you aware of how it could sound. I know I have said plenty of things that were interpreted the opposite of what I meant. Truly, I was just trying to help. I am a 54 yo American woman, so I don’t keep up with the latest musical trends or even watch late night TV. I mostly stream stuff. All 4 of my boys don’t listen to mainstream stuff either- they watch a lot of anime and mostly listen to Japanese music. lol I happened on BTS through Kdramas. If I tell family or friends that I watch Kdramas and listen to BTS, they just look at me like I have two heads. lol
@@beth5870 I'm a 58 year old woman that finds most of her content online. I don't watch TV or listen to the radio, and I mostly don't watch mainstream shows, unless it catched my interest. So I don't think that age is a factor so much. I remember in 2017, BTS won an award at the Billboard music awards, and I was watching it because of my favorite artist at the time (Lindsey Stirling). She was at the show and nominated for an award, and she was presenting an award that night. That was the first year BTS was nominated for an award and won Top Social Artist. Lindsey was one of the presenters for Top Social Artist. I didn't watch BTS's acceptance speech, but I knew who they were, and over the years I heard of them. I just didn't check them out until the pandemic happened. I wish I had checked them out sooner. If I had watched RM's acceptance speech at the first show, I would have checked them out. Because they were so sweet. All the guys were up there and he represented them so well.
@@beth5870 I don't think age has anything to do with it, I'm 58 years old, and from California. My husband and I don't watch tv or listen to the radio. And we download movies and shows, and we like anime as well, I just happen to like watching a lot of UA-cam. I've lost some friends because of becoming an ARMY, but the people who matter in my life are supportive. My husband became ARMY because of my love the guys and their music.
Caught your first reaction to BTS, LOVED it I am 50 year old ARMY, I would love to join you during your BTS journey. You are definitely in for a treat. BTS is a phenomenally talented group, their music talks truth of their hardships, positive messages of love yourself and you can see all their success over the years. I will honestly say BTS saved me from a very dark place in my life. Welcome and enjoy the BTS journey 💜
I saw you reacted to central cee, well Jungkook here with the purple hair who is the main vocalist of BTS did a song with him. It was a Kid laroi song feat Jungkook and Central Cee called TOO MUCH.
@TreSotrue Jungkook and Kid Laroi compliment each other really well on the track and although I wasn't too fond of CCs part to start with, it did grow on me and his cadence really fits well on the track. I'm sure you will love his verse. Jungkook released a solo album in November last year that has broken all kinds of records. It's all in English and he has remixes with Justin Timberlake and Usher. I highly reccomend STANDING NEXT TO YOU original mv (he took alot of inspiration from MJ) this is also the track that Usher jumped on to do a remix.
It’s considerably more now… the rap line have 530+ writing and composition credits between the three of them on KOMCA (which doesn’t list production credits). And yeah, I couldn’t name a dud BTS song.
i wish more people were introduced to bts music like that: live performance just pure talent and vibes (besides you can see a bit of their colors/personalities)
They r BTS they sing Korean cuz they r korean their top song is Dynamite with 1.8 billion views they have 3 rappers and their names r, kim namjoon (rm), kim seokjin (jin), min yoongi (suga), jung hoseok (j-hope), park jimin(jimin), kim taehyung (v) jeon jungkook(jungkook) and yes u r right the person u thought is the leader is indeed the leader💜
Trying to choose heir "best song" is like choosing your favorite child.. almost impossible.. They have tried so many different genres and have 300+ songs, that if you'd ask 20 ARMYs what their favorite song is, you'll most probably get 20 different answers.. there is literally a song for everyone.. and it's also fine if you don't like every song they ever made, but I'm sure you're going to vibe with most of them.. My favorite song changes from day to day or even depends on my mood at the moment.. I think good songs to start with are "Black Swan", "ON", "Blood, Sweat & Tears", "RUN BTS", "Idol" and "Fake Love".. I could honestly list 20 more for you, but that'll do for the moment... it will also show you their diversity.. Also not all songs have an official music video, so make sure to watch on their labels channel "HYBE" or their channel "BANGTANTV".. for the songs with no MV you can either check out a color coded video or a live performance.. they also have dance practice videos to most of their songs.. and I've seen some ARMYs uploading the dance practices with CC for their songs without a MV.. ☺👍 💜
6 of them are serving in the military as it is mandatory in their country their Eldest member Jin just finished his serving and is expecting to drop new solo. rest have been doing solo work since they too hiatus as a group in 2022. but if you ask me all their songs are top tier
@@TreSotrue They have gone popular I think with 'Blood sweat and tears' but it could be with Idol , or 'Boy with love ' It hard to say because every song they brought different audiences... They have - Dynamite was on billboard 100 #1 for 10 week ... They have 6 song No 1 in billboard ...( Dynamite - full english , butter - full english , permission to dance- full english , bad decision , savage love , life goes on- in korean ) If I am wrong dear army pleas say :)
@@TreSotrue they have to serve for 18 months. so even though they are in military they had lot of content prepared before they enlisted which they have been releasing . as a group they will be back in June 2025
So happy you started with these Korean language songs that go all the way back to 2013! You got a true taste of BTS songs, their live singing talents, and their dynamics with each other. Dynamite, Butter, and Permission to Dance are all light, fun songs, which might lead one to believe that's their main focus. But BTS writes lyrics in most of their other songs, and they write about current events, art, social injustice, mental health, psychology, life as an idol, and self-discovery + acceptance. And they write about growing up and youthful relationships, of course! And some of their songs are directed to their fans, whom they appreciate and care about very much. This was a good start!
they're so diverse it's hard to not explore more. you have to watch at least these... ON Manifesto, fire, mic drop, DNA, black swan and Idol. Too many more to list, but this will give you an idea of their versatility and talent.
❤ welcome to the bts universe😂 .. the one that gives you leader vibes is RM and he is the leader of the group.. Bts as a group hasn’t released a song yet in 2024, because of the mandatory military service. Sinds the end of December 2022 the oldest of the group started serving. Recently the oldest finish his service but the rest is still serving.. but the guys have been releasing solos… But there are a lot of songs to listen to , so you can catch to them when the group is back together ❤

Always have cc on. Please go down the BTS rabbit hole. You will NEVER regret it! I am so glad my daughter introduced me to them over 4 years ago. BTS love & appreciate their fans(called ARMY) & celebrate the anniversary of their beginning(June 2013) yearly with FESTA, where they give special "gifts" to ARMY, such as the live you just reacted to. Each member of BTS is multi-talented, yet remain humble. You will never find another group so talented, together & separately. Please pause at the end of each video for a sec as just when you think the video is over, it's not. Most BTS songs have deep meanings & some connect to each other so always watch the video to the end. I enjoyed your reaction. Another cool fact is that BTS fans (ARMY), are ALL ages, ages 5-90 in our family!
There's so much good that's it's hard to pick. I will say one of my top go to "feel good" songs is "So What", but I highly recommend falling down the rabbit hole! It's a wonderful place!

@@evantesseract737exactly. For me, all of their songs are the best depending on my mood.

Bts are awesome. They are South Korean. They are biggest band in the world.
@@TreSotruespoiler alert: you most likely have heard Dynamite before. It was everywhere in the latter half of 2020
Dynamite and Butter are both 100% in English and they are their more “pop” sounding songs.

I love that you recognized that RM was the leader. 💜

MY FREN, THEIR WHOLE DISCOGRAPHY IS NO. 1. THEIR WHOLE DISCOGRAPHY SLAPS. LIKE IT SLAPS.
NO ONE MATCH RM CHARISMA AND TALENT 🔥🔥🔥
A piece of advice: forget everything you thought you knew about BTS, haha. They are amazing artists. They all write, produce and compose their music alongside their in-house producers. The Rap Line (RM, SUGA and j-hope) makes more music because they have more experience (both RM and SUGA used to make music before joining the band - they started at 12) and always write their verses. RM is the main songwriter out of the members and SUGA the main producer but they all take part in their music
Also, there is no "main guy" in BTS. They do have a leader though. RM, the guy that you pointed out but he's mainly managing the group. Think of it as a team captain, not a frontman. They do have set roles in the group so Jung Kook is the main vocalist and centre - you will hear him a lot and he'll be in the middle much more than the others
The roles are:

There's a saying: "You don't find BTS, BTS finds you when you need them" 💜
Falling down the bts rabbit hole is going to worth it my man. They never disappoint. 💜💜. Also only 3 of their songs as a group is only in english. I recommend cc even though they do throw english words in there songs. And the one you mentioned that he gives you vibes of being the leader. You are correct his name is Namjoon, but stage name is RM
Ok I’ll definitely check it out this week and lol I figured he just gives leader vibes I definitely appreciate it 🙏🏼
Bts is amazing. Please react to bts tiny desk concert, butter and on. Plus they are amazing dancers❤❤❤
Suga said that whenever you find BTS, that's when they debuted for you. And you have about a year to catch up on a decade worth of group and solo projects before they're all back from service 😁😁😁 💜
I'm sure once you know what they're actually rapping you'll really fall for them.
They're good people and we're proud of them 💜
Gosh... Love this reaction 🥹😭❤️🔥
Have fun.
BTS unites Armys, that's what they call us fans, from around the world,no matter what age, race or gender 💜
You're actually really late because they started in 2013 but better late than never. This is also a medley of a few of their songs. So you're getting a little taste of their variety.
Yea very late but definitely better late then never I’m glad I’ve stumbled upon them
@@TreSotrue Maybe late, but not TOO late, thankfully! Great music is timeless 💜
Their music really healed me emotionally tbh.
It starts with just wanting to know their names ….💜💜😊🤣
BTS finds you in the exact moment you need them the most! Impossible to tell you just one song, but def star with the guide... Welcome! 💜
Our OT7,❤❤❤
I can’t wait to now follow you and fall down the BTS rabbit hole Loved your reaction to our favorite group. You will get lots of support for this💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I appreciate that so much 🙏🏼
this performance is not typical as they are awesome dancers in most of their performances
When he sees some of their best choreo he's going to lose his mind. Lol 😅 in the best way possible
I discovered them in 2021. They are AWESOME ‼️They are to this day my favorite group. You won’t be disappointed ❤
Also, watching the Taylor Guide to BTS is a good start point to understand them
Welcome to the rabbit hole. The voices and genres, the lyrics and incredible music will drag you body and soul into wonderful and thought provoking journey.
Thank you for your reaction to this wonderful, beloved group by all of us - BTS!
And, welcome to our fandom!💜
There are already a lot of comments here and you have already been given information about the guys and recommendations...
From myself I can say:
BTS is an amazing group with a wonderful history, which debuted in 2013 with 7 members and which has maintained this composition to this day: no one has left the group and no one has been added.
If you want to know more about BTS and each of the boys individually, check out BTS: The Bangtan 7 Member's Guide - Mari Taylor.
Well, and of course, solo compositions and albums of the guys (I indicated the latest solo albums, but some members also have earlier albums):
RM - albums "Indigo"(2022) and "Right Place, Wrong Person" (2024)
Songs: "Wild flower", "Seoul" (prod. HONNE), "LOST!", "Come back to me".
SUGA/ AgustD - albums "D-2"(2020) and "D-Day"(2023)
Songs: "People Pt.2" (feat. IU), "Haegeum", "Daechwita", "AMYGDALA", "Burn It", "Snooze" (feat. WOOSUNG).
J-Hope - albums "Jack in The Box"(2022) and “HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1”(2024)
Songs: "MORE", "Blue Side", "On the street" (with J.Cole), "Doydream", "I wonder..." (with Jungkook), "NEURON"(with Gaeko & YOON MIRAE)
JIN: songs - The Astronaut, Yours, Awake, Epiphany.
Jimin - album "FACE"(2023)
Songs: "Like Crazy", "Set Me Free Pt.2", "Lie", "Filter", "Closer Than This", "Letter", "VIBE" (Jimin & TAEYANG), "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band" (feat. Loco) - this is a song from his new album "Muse", which will be released on 07/19/24.
V - album "Layover"(2023)
Songs: "Slow Dancing", "Rainy Days", "Christmas Tree", "Stigma", "FRI(END)S"(2024)
Jungkook - album "GOLDEN"(2023)
Songs: "Standing next to You" (the song has a Remix with Usher), "Seven" (feat. Latto), "3D"(feat. Jack Harlow) - the song has a Remix with Justin Timberlake, "Hate You", "My Time", "Euphoria", "Still With You", "TOO MUCH" (The Kid LAROI, Jung Kook, Central Cee), "Never Let Go" (2024)
And also, I recommend his presentation at Times Square NYC. And Jungkook Golden Live On Stage Concert.

So, people have a misconception about kpop and bts as well
Kpop isn't really a genre in the way the western world classifies it. Its more of an industry with a plethora of genres within. There are groups that are more strictly hip hop, there are groups that are rock influenced and pop influenced as well as groups that experiment with different genres
Bts started as a hip hop group (with two if the rappers being from the underground rap scene and the other being a street dancer) that wanted to speak for the people and especially the youth of korea who didn't have a strong voice. Alot of people misunderstand bts and their music, especially in the west because most of the time the songs that get played are either their English songs or their more mainstream sounding songs (theres nothing wrong with those songs but it tends to make people see them as a generic boyband/popband and disregard them as actual artists) which unfortunately reflects on how outsiders see the fans as well (likening us to hormonal teenage girls when most of the fans are older than that, and are grown adults who are avid and genuine music lovers)
I hope that you continue to look into more BTS and i would love to watch your journey in discovering their music and all the different genres of music BTS has done
I definitely will be looking more into it I appreciate the insight and getting me updated on this amazing group ‼️ I really appreciate the support
I would recommend watching the BTS documentary by Purple Snow....it covers the group since their beginning and through the hiatus and their solo works since 2022...Taylor Mari is good but only goes to 2022 and my own personal opinion it left out a lot on the members...however it is shorter...perhaps if you don't want to spend 2 hours reacting to Purple Snow 's version...do watch it on your own...it gives a very comprehensive view of BTS and each of the members ....there are a few other folks who have some good early years documentaries on BTS which are worth watching as well...hos give you a more complete pi ture of why ARMY loves BTS and why they are so protective of them....welcome to the rabbit hole... ..Borahae
@@paulaburgess4708 those are great suggestions for him
BTS is a rabbit hole that once you begin it, there's no turning back!!
I definitely wanna check out more of his songs.. does he do solo songs or is it just a group thing ?
@@TreSotrue yes. He does solo songs. In fact, all of them have solo projects. So, You can enjoy and see each one with their style. RM, SUGA, J.Hope, Jimin. Jin, V, J.K. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 ARMY from Europe- Romania, 54 years old. Thank you for manifesting interesat in BTS ! Purple u! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

i’m always so happy when a huge smile appears on people’s faces the moment they realize they love the music. also they have been doing mandatory military service since december 2023 staggered and the first member came back literally last month so there hasn’t been much in terms of full group songs but the solo music has been BUMPING so it’s impossible to say what their most popular song is
React to "A guide to BTS members: bantang 7" by Taylor.
All songs are amazing about 500 rm is indeed the leader🤩welcome to the community
It’s impossible not to love them.
im a 23 year old middle eastern man in the process of getting my masters, seeing so many different people loving bts warms my heart
Such a treat to see others fall in love with these incredible guys! 💜💜💜
And I'm the same as you, I don't watch TV, I mostly stream stuff, but TV shows have UA-cam channels, and I get recommended those, just like music videos and other content.
Caught your first reaction to BTS, LOVED it
I am 50 year old ARMY, I would love to join you during your BTS journey.
I seen that but I’ve never heard it or realized that was him I’m definitely going to check it out central cee one of my top artists
@@kaz_72agreed! And the video with Usher is so good - absolutely worth watching just to see two legends dancing together 😁
Thats why i love watching bts live performances. Cz theyre even better live.
Bts have 300+ writing and producing credits , ive been a fan since 2013 ive never once heard a bad song 🎵
The way he is ✨VIBING✨ the songs💜
Wish u watch it again by yourself and turn on the CC's coz BTS lyric is 🔥
My favorite thing is seeing new BTS fans emerge. When I saw JK on his opening scene, I knew he was going to join Army.
☺👍 💜
Loved your reaction!
Thank you!! 😁
I would suggest their last concert MIC-DROP & RUN BTS live Busan concert.

They are amazing. Rm is leader and did a lot to bring the boys up from childhood. Saved a lot of people at a hard time in our lives to “love yourself! They’re much more than music. They write their words to help people get through hard times. No age limit
