Not only he's artistically talented, he's respectable, he's adorable, sexy (do not watch the ck ads), he can clean the house, do the dishes, do the laundry, giving a live tutorial how to fold a ck boxer😅😂 (the only brand ambassador to give tutorial) and most importantly, he can cook.

This song is an homage to MJ. Since you dance, the choreo is by Keone Madrid(super famous choreographer) and Shay Latukolan. And his 2 of his backup dancers are none other than Brian Puspos and Ian Eastwood from America's Best Dance Crew. Then you have the other dancers/choreographers Nick Joseph, Jake Kodish, Devin Pornel, and Vinh Nguyen.
The woman who directed the video, Tanu Muino said the style and visuals are based on Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet. Tanu also directed Harry Style's As It Was and has won Grammys for her videos.

All dancers are famous choregraphers
Jungkook's backup dancers here, who accompanied him for most of his promotions for his album, Golden, are all literally some of the most famous choreographers in the world. His company asked who he wanted to have as dancers for his promotion and he basically named his dream team of all the choreographers he admires, some of whom BTS has worked with before. And because he is Jungkook of BTS, they all said hell yes. They followed him on his promotions and live performances and called themselves his "Golden Boys."
This MV was filmed in Hungary at an abandoned power plant. This MV is an homage to Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet (the one with Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes.) His album Golden is all in English. He wanted to try his hand at many styles of pure western pop, so the album has many styles. But, like all BTS albums, it is a concept album. It follows the stages of a romance in order, from first flirtation, to devotion and obsession, through to bitter heartbreak.
Yes, MJ is definitely an inspiration to them. They have an amazing MJ inspired choreography to their song Dynamite, especially the 2020 MMA performance of Dynamite with the dance break in the middle. All their outfits are MJ inspired. The one in the purple velvet jumpsuit is my bias, dance leader j-hope. This is a live performance, so singing and dancing live. You will note there are only 6 of them here. That is because Yoongi/Suga, one of the rappers, was out for long overdue shoulder surgery to deal with an old injury. They let the track play on his part and left the hole in the choreography, to highlight his absence, because they are not complete with one member missing.

And check this out - this is from a fan meeting. BTS ARMY fan meetings are called Musters (as in mustering the troops) and they do skits, covers, perform some of their songs, do special performances, play games, talk to ARMY and just have fun. This Muster from 2018 was for Festa, which is the annual celebration of their debut anniversary (June 13th) where they do lots of events for ARMY and we do things for them too. The theme in this one was Prom Party and Jungkook (in black) and his BTS brother Jimin (in white) did a duet choreography to Michael Jackson's Black or White.

The set and concept of the music video "Standing next to you" was inspired by the movie Romeo and Juliet by Baz Luhrmann. The dance in "Standing next to you" is homage to MJ.
He released his solo debut album "Golden". The album is all in English. JK said he wanted to try different genre of music and wanted to challenge himself. Since he is Korean and mainly sings in Korean it was a challenge for him.
He also did a short mini concert on time square and only gave fans 30 minutes notice where he sang five of his songs from his album. You'll love it for sure. It's amazing! Thousands showed up at times square.

All BTS has amazing skills. Jungkook is noted for his perfect pitch and many producers love working with him. He is humble and sincere and if they ask him to do more or sing a bit differently he adjusts himself. Charlie Puth said working was JK was amazing. He’d send in his vocals and all he had to do was copy and paste. His recordings were perfect.
Please continue on with BTS. Each member is amazing and talented and they are all in love with their little brother and are so proud of him.

Tiny note: when BTS do work in the US they work with a lot of Black artists - as well as other people of color. They know where their music comes from and pay their respects. There are quite a lot of examples of them talking about who inspired them and you'd know the names 💜

BTS as a group has about 350 songs. Most they wrote themselves with some collaborations on others. All have songs that are copyrighted by (KOMCA) Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) with RM (218), SUGA (167), and J-Hope (137) having the most. There is overlay because they work on tracks together too and also have songs in Japanese. Add another 66 tracks (counting RM’s new album being released next Friday (20240524)) for their individual projects in the last year and a half and you can see the size of their discography catalog. This is not counting a few mixed tapes, collaborations on other artists’ catalogs, albums, or webtoon sound tracks. They pretty much sing all genres (multiple genres in most songs) except for opera or American country music. It’s literally unfair and naïve to judge their music on a handful of songs, as you will see if you continue down the BTS rabbit hole. You may be down there for quite a while. They have an enormous number of awards, spent an enormous amount of time on the Billboard charts (years) and opened many, many doors, to the benefit of South Korea and their entertainment industry. BTS alone contributes 3.6 BILLION to the SK economy of 50 million people. That does not include the effect on international economies. Their largest fan base is actually in India.
