I'm a little late to the party, but I found this, every other vid wanted me to dump the inkpads and replace with paper towels or diaper...this is what i was looking for and though my printer has a much larger capacity (PRO 4880) the principle is the same. THANKS VERY MUCH.
Thank you so much for this video! It's different than the ET-2760 that I have but the principle was the same. My ink pads are drying now. Thanks again!
Yes thank you for this herlpful honest video. We all need to save money when we can. The big brand companys that are rich will always be rich. So why lie to cuastomers???? When I asked for advice off Epson, they told me a New Pad was needed at £48. Now of course the Printer is only £50. So I searched, I found this truth and saved 50 bucks. Lets bring back honesty to out society.
I used a microwave to make them dry. The liquid when heated evaporates, after that i used a hairdryer to dry the outside. But be careful: my pads almost burned in the microwave!
thanks man! Second video i have seen of yours, I am glad SOMEONE is still sharing information freely? Every other video was some a$$h*le trying to make money off of it!
I have an Epson XP-810 printer that is giving me the cleaning pad error. Is there any way to reset the printer after removing and cleaning the pads? I'm seeing indications that I'd have to buy some kind of reset code. Is this correct?
Hello and thanks so much, Please, May you help me with a printer EPSON TX525FW? I don't know how to replace or to remove waste ink pad. Maybe If May you share me with a video?..thanks
I bought this printer ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 to replace an aging HP printer. It is just used for casual home printing so I don't need anything more. Installation went easily though the HP Smart Printing doesn't work well with our laptops - having to select the actual device. Will have to see how the HP Instant Ink program works out. Plus haven't been able to set up printing from smartphone yet - either direct or WiFi
Same thing, as far as I'm aware. I've serviced an ET-2550 and also have an ET-2600 to service, it's just a case of taking out one or two screws, removing the container, and replacing or cleaning the felt pads. Then resetting, of course. Not what you need to pay Epson £100+ to do ;).

Brilliant mine has just come up with the same error, I don’t want to replace the printer as it’s the best I’ve ever had. ManyThanks for the tutorial.
Brilliant, thank you. I have just removed and washed the pads from my Epson XP-212, fingers crossed that I can manage the rest and get it going again.

Perfectly quick how-to-
But did you really just slam that Ink pad aggressively tho? Looks like you had a lot of grudge on it.
Simple how-to. Much appreciated.
Legend, cheers mate. Thought it was game over for my printer
Unreal to me that on their website they suggest that you buy a new printer when this error message comes up
Top notch information, thanks.
Brilliant!! Thank you so much for this video. Epsom suggested I buy a new printer at £300!!! Or pay for an engineer to come out (same price).
YUP SAME HERE!! On their official website their suggestion is to buy a new printer.

I don't have this machine but I think it's the same procedure as other Epson, remove the screw on the back and so on

Non sono nella stessa posizione della macchina mostrata nel video?

Very helpful. Thanks!!
Hello, is this the same process for the XP-510 please?
Yes, it's the same process
@@viandant5 thank you
Is that the same for Epson dx7400
I don't remember, probably not

Does my printer need to be connected to the computer to be resetted?
To be resetted? yes if you buy a reset service from Inkchip or other
Yes just use a USB cable... of course your Epson printer doesn't come with one but they're like four dollars on Amazon.
Bel video, ma come si pulisce la workforce? WF 2510
Non ho manuali di questa macchina, mi spiace
how bout the unethically unservable Ecotank models (ET)? Thanks
Instead of selling a printer at 50 Euro, Epson sells you a printer at 180 Euro. So they sell you a 50 euro printer with 130 Euro of cartridges

I just did this on my ET-2760
If I can do it, you can to.
After cleaning/replacing the pads will the printer not work straight away?
you have to reset the counter
@@viandant5 thanks, I needed up changing the printer as it was 4 yrs plus old anyway.
