so ive been wanting to make my own batsuit costume for a long time and I have to tell ya finding your videos and using the tricks and tips I was really inspired. ill tell you what this is only my second build and it gets discouraging at first when your a perfectionist and you mess up, but its just foam and practice helps a lot as well as the right tools and lots of patience. your videos and costumes are awesome keep it up man.
BUT HE DOES NOT TELL US WHAT WE NEED TO DO IF WE DON'T HAVE THE STUFF TO MAKE THE HELMET

your tutorials are super helpful. they provided me with techniques that seem alot easier and might actually save alot of time. i prefer a different approach on the paint. the acrylic and water on foam dosent sound too durable over time. i wish i would have seen more of the seems filled in. but other than that the suit came out nice

I roughly followed this along with some pepakura files in order to make my red hood mask for last weekends comic con here in portugl, although I had some visibility problems I just felt I should thank you for making all these videos, they really do help a bunch!

I will have that one out this week.. had a tough time trying to figure out which route to take with the under armor so i tried a few different approach and i will cover them in the next Batman video.

would 2mm flaom sheets work for healmet
Do you ever find your Dremel gets the cement or glue caught up in it when sanding a piece that is already attached? Wasn't sure if that just happens, or if my bit was not great quality. I keep having to stop and scrape it off, otherwise is seems to wreak havoc on the foam.
I've never had a problem like that. I usually wait til the glue is completely dried and no longer tacky before i hit it with the dremel

Do you think it's possible to make the helmet light up more like it does in the game? Like, the entire front face plate is dimmer than the eyes but still lit. Fiberglass?

If the Arkham Knight was anyone but Jason Todd, and has a great hand-to-hand boss fight with Batman at the end of Arkham Knight, he would've been a MUCH better villain.

I'm currently making this and i believe that you should add more instructions to the making of it, for example on the ear parts you should have been a little bit more specific how how to make certain parts of it and on the middle piece of the front of the mask you should also be more specific, because on Facebook you said to make it 1 inch wide but in the end i had to make it even wide, so im just saying that in the future you should be more specific

***** since i freehand most of it and some pieces are made on the fly.. best i can do is dig up what ever i have a post a photo of it. I will see what i can find and post it on my fan page
hello I would like to know the mask has mold??
Why do you paint after gluing? Wouldn't it be easier to paint the pieces separately and they attach them? This way you have coats on the entirety and you don't have to deal with crevices.
how much time did you spend bulding the mask?
how thick are is the foam? 1cm?
Dude, I am actually building this! Free handing isn't so hard! I am also doing this without a head, will make a pdf sooner or later.

What's the helmet made out of?
What kind of rubber cement did you say you like to use? Does most any rubber cement work well. dry fast? Sorry so many Q's.
Kev Alexander i use Barge Rubber Cement its harder to find. but you can use DAP Weldwood Contact Cement. its cheaper and easier to find. Walmart, Home Depot or Lowes.. Usually in the paint section. much easier to work with as long as you give it time to dry.. works best when its dried
