If you were on the streak, theoretically a team of two could pull two oz in the same time in one hard day. Especially if you set up the day before.
(Side note) A Hudson sprayer would be great for easily cleaning out your trommel box.

Your spray bar was shooting downward I spray the pile off to the side at 8:00 o’clock washing the rocks that flow to the side of the tumbling drum, this cleans the rocks fully. Also I bring black plastic, I dig a big hole hold the dirt to the side and line the hole with the black plastic making a larger then the little tub you were using this way a sandal drop to the bottom of the hole lined with the plastic and filled with water. Your water will run cleaner and then this won’t fill up your grooves in your gold cube allowing more gold to stick instead of flow out, gold cube product really works good I use it on the beach sands here in Washington state up by the Strait of Juan de Fuca. I pull an ounce and a half a day I hope you find a Lotta gold good luck.

The trommel is too expensive for my budget. 😦
Anyway you could show us how to build one at home.?
    Wonderful video. 🤗👍

This is a very useful video. Did you replace your high banker with the gold cube trommel? I have a GC but was manually classifying. The trommel is revolutionary as far as materials processed but a high banker is lower cost? Did you notice a major performance difference? With manual classification I am seriously thinking rocker box might out perform it because of it's classifier and no battery. Trommel is heavy

I still use the highbanker for most situations. I don't think the manual classification made any difference.

Correct me if I'm wrong here but if you keep adding material dirt to that bucket won't it overflow you'd have to stop and scoop the mud out of the bin

Hi Dan Great video, I'm just starting out, I know I need some equipment but should I get a gold cube or a high banker with a sluice, I would be working on Butte creek in Chico CA. There are some videos on it. Not mine, I like the trummle and cube what do you think works the best. Thanks again

Got to be careful in California, I'm like an hour south of you and most places I know of you can only pan unless you can get on a claim or less restricted area

I am presuming these river gravels are from mid river at mich lower water level at start of winter. Have often wondered how much gold is streaming past in the rapid river flow, while you pan material from among rock grooves at shore line

I would not have thought that cube could handle such big rocks

hi dan, what a good job you have to make an ounce per hour, and at the price that is serious millionaire in a few months jejejej, but you would stop making videos better to keep doing what you like, and showing us everything you know how to do, I wanted to ask something, the blue stones that you see when you approach with the gold that you see are another material, and another question at the end that happened with the stone that you found in another video, that I told you that it looked like platinum, that was end, how nice it would be to see you get platinum, good greetings from Colombia, thanks

Breaking it down to a more realistic number it would still be a pretty good job. Allowing for weaker areas of ground a rest break now and then i could still see a $30 an hour return. Thats a pretty good payscale and i could work pretty hard with that kind of pay. Almost makes me want to move to Canada BC nice job Dan sure you make it look easier than it is.

@@Danhurd wish i could test out my homemade highbanker on some good ground. It does good with the scarce flour gold in the glacial drifts available to me. Never had an opportunity to set it where they was good gold. Does good on catching small pieces of fencing and lead shot and sinkers though with loads of black sand.

So you get the water from the river to circulate the water flow for sluice testing the rivers banks, the water can't go back into the river. That's a special kind of stupid and also do you have to take the water with you? As always love the content keep it up.
