      Tepper is already exposing himself as Mark Davis east. Trying to hide his utter incompetency as a team owner by chasing names and firing people. The only thing he'll be successful at is setting the franchise back 15 years at this rate.

      Well said, sir!
      Tepper has been playing a billionaire armchair quarterback with the staff since he bought the team. Wilks has the team moving in a positive direction and Tepper decided that Reich was a better option. The bad decisions were all self inflicted wounds from Tepper himself.
      He should stay in the skybox and stop pretending that he knows anything about football.

      Because Wilks isn't a good HC. He was horrible at Arizona and even in Carolina he was aggressively mediocre. It's like hiring Ron Rivera. You're basically signing up for being eternally mid.

      Didn't hire Wilks because he wasn't gonna put up with Tepper's meddling and ideas. Frank took the job thinking Tepper wouldn't be "that bad". Then found out as the HC he wouldn't be able to hand pick his own staff nor the QB! This is why Wilks didn't get the job after 2 interviews. With that said...I'm glad Wilks didn't get the job. 1) don't think he'd work out. Wouldn't be any better than Reich was supposed to be 3) too great of a man to put up with Tepper and his wife

      Frank Reich was hired to be better than Steve Wilks who took pretty much the same roster to 7 wins. Instead, he had 1 win and his offense has been one of the worst in the league and was showing no signs of improvement.
      What is the argument for keeping Frank Reich?

    • @phantomcyrano
      @phantomcyrano 11 місяців тому +2

      This isn't the new NFL period. It's the bad team period. There's a reason the teams that are good to great year over year aren't firing coaches every other year. Of course it helps when you don't have an out of touch owner meddling and firing people every season after forcing them to take the first round QB they didn't want. Just think about how many teams that last sentence describes over the last 10 years and you'll see the real difference between the good and bad teams in the league.

    Bryce is a finesse passer. He must have timing, he doesn't have the arm strength to flick a ball like Lamar or Patrick. And his footwork is bad, he isn't ready to throw the ball into the tight windows of the NFL. He's not a bust, yet, but they missed on the first pick for sure.

    • @Don-md6wn
      @Don-md6wn 11 місяців тому

      You're clueless. Throwing bullets without setting his feet is one of his strengths and if he couldn't throw the ball into tight windows he would never complete a pass downfield on this wretched team.

  • @DCIphanatic
    @DCIphanatic 11 місяців тому

    I mean just watch the sacks and ask yourself - could Bryce have done anything to prevent them? He needs to throw the ball away faster, if no one is open then throw it to the second row of the stands. Our record would be no different, he'd take less hits, our OL would look better (since people are only evaluating on sacks now I guess??), and he'd be building good habits. I haven't seen anything from Bryce that tells me he's that guy yet. What I've seen is someone who can develop into a low end starter, potentially career backup. There's nothing wrong with that, and fans shouldn't feel bad for evaluating him as NFL talent. The amount of people still covering for him is staggering
