Back in 2008, I took a class called "keyboarding" in high school. The computer lab still used dot matrix printers. If you don't know what those are, congrats you don't live in the stone age. Anyway, they are basically typewriters that print from computers. And they sound like old loud 5¼ floppy drives reading a disk, sort of. The sound of all 20 printers going simultaneously when we had to print our worksheets was maddening.
I really appreciate the professor (and the class, too) having a sense of humor about it. Respect is important but the simple pleasures are what life's all about.
