I have always appreciated when professors call out disruptive people. It is a lot of money to attend those classes and I don’t want my time wasted. The student may not be able to stop himself from yawning, but I don't believe that he has no control over the volume. It does not have to be any louder than a slightly stronger than normal exhale. The accompanying vocal aspect is unnecessary. The instructor wasn't quite right. Yawning loudly is not merely "impolite". It's disrespectful and downright rude. That’s exactly how my teacher sounded like. That’s why I didn’t like him. Yes some of the kids were rlly rude and they were the type of kids that picked fights with teachers but some kids were super nice but he would blow things way out of proportion and rant about them at least a few times a week. Like once every two weeks maybe he would talk about how we didn’t understand that it was rlly tiring for him to repeat the same thing over and over again to his many classes. And I must admit that I haven’t thought of it that way and that it must be rlly tiring for teachers but every other teacher goes through it and they don’t mention it even once. And the way he talked was like this guy too he would be like “ I need be respected and I’m a very fair and easygoing person. If you respect me and then I’ll be nice to you but if you disrespect me, etc...” and I get that teachers need to say that to students sometimes but this teacher said it WAY too often and he was VERY strict like we would all be talking at a normal voice level and he’ll say we’re too loud and that sometimes we’re so loud that he has to step outside and to calm himself when we’re like two times quieter than what a noisy class would sound like. He would have these types of rants few times a week and he would just keep on taking for like five minutes. I have always appreciated when professors call out disruptive people. It is a lot of money to attend those classes and I don’t want my time wasted. When people disrupt, they are basically robbing from the other students paying for that time/seat.

@@halhal2592-- I can certainly control my yawn volume. This exact same thing has happened to me. I'm certain that the extra loud yawn was affected with the intent of putting on a show for his peers.
The student may not be able to stop himself from yawning, but I don't believe that he has no control over the volume. It does not have to be any louder than a slightly stronger than normal exhale. The accompanying vocal aspect is unnecessary.
The instructor wasn't quite right. Yawning loudly is not merely "impolite". It's disrespectful and downright rude. Unfortunately this seems to be an outmoded way of thinking.

That’s exactly how my teacher sounded like. That’s why I didn’t like him. Yes some of the kids were rlly rude and they were the type of kids that picked fights with teachers but some kids were super nice but he would blow things way out of proportion and rant about them at least a few times a week. Like once every two weeks maybe he would talk about how we didn’t understand that it was rlly tiring for him to repeat the same thing over and over again to his many classes. And I must admit that I haven’t thought of it that way and that it must be rlly tiring for teachers but every other teacher goes through it and they don’t mention it even once. And the way he talked was like this guy too he would be like “ I need be respected and I’m a very fair and easygoing person. If you respect me and then I’ll be nice to you but if you disrespect me, etc...” and I get that teachers need to say that to students sometimes but this teacher said it WAY too often and he was VERY strict like we would all be talking at a normal voice level and he’ll say we’re too loud and that sometimes we’re so loud that he has to step outside and to calm himself when we’re like two times quieter than what a noisy class would sound like. He would have these types of rants few times a week and he would just keep on taking for like five minutes. Sorry for the long and boring story the guy in the video was just too similar to my past teacher I couldn’t believe it
