After Building my Deck it is time to install some Lattice to give that deck a nice Clean Look. Here i will show you how to cut a strange angle into the lattice to follow the ground.
really like how you cut the lattice around the concrete from the sonotubes ROFL people like you are why im still in business keep up the good work :)
Why do you people have to be so rude with your comments? These people are just trying to help others. If you want to correct someone you don't have to be rude. That's a big part of whats wrong with this country.
***** well i do find it interesting depending on where you are in this country you get friendly people and other places not so friendly people. New England where i live can be pretty rough. To be honest i don't take anything said on line to personal and most of the time if someone says something rude i laugh and thank them for there comment. Thanks for watching, Larry!
Because everyone is an expert...That's why they go on you tube for help, yet they know everything.
Well Said John! Thanks for watching and Keep up the Positive Comments!
I agree John.
I just viewed this video for the first time and unfortunately as I must agree with some of the comments about the camera I did find the video helpful. Thank you for that.

Thanks for the feedback!
Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for, how to cut lattice for a slanted area! You rock! :-)
Now - what steps do I follow to attach a hinge to the lattice so that I can access the stuff underneath my deck??
Great video. Now I know how to do the lattice project.
I didn’t know about the edging just about to install on my deck. Thankyou
How did you go around the cement post ??? The video didn’t show it. Thanks in advance
I bought a circular saw from skill brand, and I just got a blade that says able to cut vinyl siding, can use the blade to cut vinyl lattice right? Sorry if I sound dumb but never used a saw only scissors
out of so many video, your's was the most helpful, thank you. I am trying to do this myself and have no tools. What kind of saw for of DIYer do you suggest to get? and also, I would like to frame my lattice and trying to find videos about how to frame; do you have one I can watch?
Ryobi. Ryobi is homeowner-grade tools.
You should NEVERuse a nail gun on vinyl products. You must drill oversized holes and screw loosely. Lattice should have substantial play after installed.
Chris Schultz thank you for posting that, have a great day!
Thank you for this video, it was big help. Blessings
Thank you for this. I'm getting to do this on my porch and didn't know how to do it properly.
I have grass under my deck how do I prevent that from growing ?
How did you attach the framing? I can see screwing through the top frame to hold the lattice to the frame and both to the porch, but what about the joining frames and bottoms? Not sure I want to see screws there
Good Question i left it Free no screws just made the joints pretty tight, Here is the Reason, In the sun the plastic will expand and if it does not have a way to do that it will buckle, so i only screw it in to the top the other 3 sides are free. I did screw the Frame in at the top you could also use a finish nail gun.
Thanks for teaching how to cut a lattice
Hope your project Came out Amazing!

nice job. thanks for sharing
Thanks JF Have a Great Night!
Thanks good tips for cutting these panels.
Thanks. Now I know how to add lattice to a deck in Minecraft.
I got so dizzy watching this I only made it about 30 seconds in. Suggestion: mount camera on a tripod aimed toward you and the deck. ty
Thanks for the comment i will work on that for my next video!
Camera was attached to his head !
Frumoase panouri
is that plastic lattice?
Yup picked it up at Home Depot, it's the more Expensive stuff, Privacy they call it
Review Outlaw That's not privacy lattice. That's the cheap garden style lattice, amateur!
Occams Razor my bad, that is what Lowes calls it in on there store display but might be called something different in the real contruction world
Thank you
You are welcome Dennis!
I feel like there is a part missing. Cutting the lattice seems like only the first step. What about fastening, joining two pieces?
+Darren Purwin You are correct it would be nice if you could just cut the lattice and that would be it, i forgot to record that part. you can purchase a Joining part and for Fastening i used Decking Screws and a Finish Nail gun to join the lattice together.
I'm dizzy while watching this
Sorry will work on that in the future.
try controlling your camera better. Like being on a roller coaster with all the sudden swings and motions.
Geez, look at all the comments from the cantankerous lattice installers? Thanks for the video.
Thanks for Watching!
Its floating,,,why not secure it with a bottom duh
I ended up putting some rocks to hold it, still holding up after all these years.
Dizzy dizzy dizzy. Jesus man, hold that frigging camera still!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the comments i will Def. work on that for next video!
Oh my god. I got so dizzy I think that I'm going to toss my cookies.
Rick Martin keep those cookies and I will work on the spinning for next video, thanks for watching!
Your trying to make me dizzy, right?
Is it working?
Why do you show people how to do lattice WRONG. where tf is the frame
No buenp
very hard to watch with the camera going all over the place!
Damn, I can't watch this. You are making me sick.
Geez! A bunch of know-it-alls and complainers, haha.
Jeff Lowrey I do get a lot of "interesting comments" I try to take what everyone says with a grain of salt, have a great day Jeff
Camera swinging around so fast gave me a headache.
I will work on that for Next video, Thanks for your Comment!
I'm sure the video was a good tutorial, but I can't watch as it makes me dizzy with camera mounted on your head like that.
Unfinished and unprofessional. It should be framed out!
I agree and @ 14 secs why didn't he just frame around the cement cylinder to make that corner clean looking? It looks tacky as he** done that way.
@@puddlez8942 Exactly!
It's just LATTICE dude...not latticeWORK.
stevecytfme are you sure? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latticework
Plastic? Really? That's sad.
A lot easier on the upkeep though, have a nice summer
