You're so right!!! You have to be careful letting it be known what you "like" It can get out of hand REAL QUICK. I like owls and now my family has given me owls in every form. Seriously, every form. My mom even chopped an owl wing off road kill she found. I guess most moms wouldn't do that kind of thing
So true... A friend of mine once bought herself a ceramic hen with three chicks because they reminded her of her and her children. After displaying them in her home she had to tell every guest seeing them for the first time "Yes I do like those hens DO NOT BUY ME OTHERS AND START A COLLECTION". And when her next big birthday came, some people asked me for gift ideas, and of course the hen question popped and I had to answer "No she doesn't want any more hens, yes I'm absolutely sure." Thankfully, they listened XD.
~Random reply~I'm a Mum who brings one of my twins things like an alligator head/skull I just happened to find by looking out my kitchen window- for no apparent reason, just had 'the feeling'. That same area about a week before, I found my tarot deck! I've brought him other deceased things with bones. It's just an automatic thought when I see them! He's learning taxidermy in the current era, I support my babies & family/friends in what they're into! I'm not cash rich so I give how I can🖤
I absolutely love how you have intention behind all of your objects...it makes me realize how many things I have that I can't explain the purpose of. Thanks for this video, it is lovely!!!
WHAT. We have the exact same little tea spoons! With the tumbled crystals in the end! Even the wire is done the same way???? I don't know where mine come from, though, I just found them at my family home one day and got permission to keep them. I love them sooooo much!
Been watching you a long ass time it seems now. Finally got on your patreon. Your videos helped distract me through the toughest time of getting clean. Luckily i got to do it in the comfort of home and not jail this time. And i learned a lot in that time ans got back in touch with my spiritual self thanks to a push feom your videos. Might be kind of lame to some but to me its everything!!!
This means so much. It's strange, as a creator, doing work behind a computer screen and reading comments sometimes, but comments like yours will break that wall for me, and make me realize that my videos really do mean something to someone, and the fact that my work has been some sort of support or comfort for you just means the absolute fucking world to me. Thank you.
Congrats on getting clean! I will be 6 years clean in august. (I detoxed in jail too 😅) I hope you are still doing well. I know this is an old comment.
Your decorating style is so Zen and creating that cozy atmosphere. Unlike the green witch which has a very tale-ish/hobbit-is style which I adore, your home design combines modern and retro motives creating awesome vibes
A bat on the wall such as the one you have is my dream item to own 🥺 Your room is beautiful, clearly an extension of you, not a projection for other people 🖤
My family just moved into our first house and I'm having fun decorating it. But some areas of my room were frustrating me to no end. Your room tour has given me ideas. I also thrift shop. I have set up my teas in my kitchen with my coffee bar and my kitchen altar and shrines. I have my dining area that displays more of my fancy stuff. So I'm not limited to one room, although I try to keep the obvious witchy items in my room and the not so obvious stuff in the more common areas. I still have a ways to go in decorating. Thanks for the inspiration!
Your room is amazing! I love how reflective it is of you. I've never had a space that was my own so sometimes I watch room tours or studio tours--I draw and paint a lot--just so I could daydream about having my own space and designing it. Like art, it's very expressive and having that space is very comforting and precious. Seeing your space is like seeing inside you, your memories, the people who helped you become who you are, your dreams and interests, how you problem solve. It's really fascinating to see all the ways you create scattered around your space. Thank you for sharing!!
Love this room's aesthetic. Love the grey textured walls! I've long admired how you create masterful colour palettes in your surrounds, in your filming, etc.
very nice! I really like the idea of a ''Tea Bar" as I make and keep a lot of teas and grow and dry my own herbs. Love the metal tea pot. thanks for sharing
Thank you Olivia for sharing your sacred space. I watched and got totally lost in the experience the only word that comes to mind is Zen. It was a Zen experience for me. It is 3/24/2022 you provided a much needed moment of escape. Be safe ~ Toni/Chicago
I really loved this video! It definitely inspires me to make my space feel more like my own oasis from the outside world 🌎 it also feels my need to go thrifting even more lol. I would love to see another thrifting vlog. :) I personally need to work on my wards and home protection
I have been in a really dark place recently and your content has been a beacon helping me through. I actually really appreciate you giving this room tour. I am semi-homeless at the moment I am currently stuck in one tiny room with my partner and occasionally his two kids. I have really struggled making the space feel like a home for us. Seeing how you use your space has helped!
Lovely video! It can be inspiring seeing how others express their craft and way of life, especially for those who practice alone. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thanks for sharing this peek into your little sanctuary. Listening to you narrate I can hear the heartbeat of these objects and the meaning each carries for you. Was especially excited to see your poppet!!
I know this video is by no means new but it's new too me! And hew! That bedside table print/painting 👀👌 Divine feminine who!? Adore it aesthetically and magically!
What an amazing room! Love all your art work and bones. Sounds lie you are surrounded by very supportive family and friends who gift you all these very witchy things! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful space! I love how intentional each and every piece is and how you know exactly where/who everything came from.
Olivia, I absolutely love your room! I love that it doesn't just look like every other room out there with all the expected witch items, it really speaks about your personality and says a lot about you. Also, bit off topic, but I did not know they sold compostable, eco friendly tea bags! Thank you for that. Sometimes I just don't have it in me to clean a tea diffuser, and this idea will get me to drink more loose leaf when I'm sad and don't have the energy to be the perfect cottage witch. I could also make tea pouches ahead of time for low spoon days so MANY thanks for this 💜 you are a treasure
Your room is the coolest!! Love the layout of like the windows & how the ceiling has different levels if that makes sense. VERY inspired by everything!! Much Love!
I love to see what others have curated for their witchy spaces and why. Thank you for showing us around. You have an amazing room, and you are a very skilled artist! Love it!
Thank you for sharing something so personal to you. Your artwork is brilliant and has inspired me. Beautifully done . I also have many kinds of tea but I will be purchasing an electric tea kettle also inspired by you. The Moon shelf is my fave. Blessed Be Olivia!
Omg! Thank you for this! So many heart-felt precious tokens 🥰 I've been working on what I want to manifest for a work space, desk, bookshelves, etc, and you gave me some great ideas. All of this is SO very you. Thank you so much for sharing ❤
Wow I have lived in Okinawa for years and been following you for quite some time now. I am stoked to learn you traveled here. Okinawa is a magical place
I love this aesthetic, it looks cosy, cool and mystical at the same time. 😍 The only thing that keeps me from having such a nice aesthetic is the cleaning. I keep most of my things in cabinets and closets because I can't stand dusting things off 🙈
Beyond inspired by how utterly you and seamlessly styled your room is! I feel like anyone could find a cozy spot to hang out in your room ✨ beautiful video!
Probably random af to say but I’m so jealous of the lighting and high ceiling. Really the entire space gives off a very calming energy, but damn that lighting is top tier ✨
Thanks for sharing your space with us, especially since it can be so personal. I love your reading corner, it's so cozy. I am jelly of where keep all your herbs in jars under the one altar by the tea table. Again Thank You for Sharing.
What a fantastic room. It looks so perfect. I am planning to take the first Hekate course this summer. I like your statue, I have one of my own on my altar.
I know there's a usual time limit that you don't respond, cause you get a lot of comments on your video. Really love how your Witch Space is in your bedroom, it gives an idea for mid-late teens to early 20's with only their bedroom to work with to make their own ritual/witchcraft room. Really love your Crescent Moon shelf and your chest storage!!!!
Thank you for sharing your room with us!! I really loved your little reading nook! I’ve been wanting to make one in my room and I think I got some ideas!
Wow, your room is sooooo amazing 🤩🤩🤩 and the windows are big and perfect for the plants!!! I sooo love that each of your things is so unique and you have a special connection with them. Also you are sooooo talented, all your sketches etc are so beautiful and i totally adored the tea stand ,ohhh my 🖤🖤🖤 and all the oddities etc, generally as you can see i got sooo excited, amazing amazing amazing ,thank you for sharing with us and much love and many kisses 🖤🖤🖤
hi could you do a video where you explain how your family/friends/relatives have known about your practice or how you explained it? I think it could help a lot of beginners to accept themselves
Somedays, I don't. If I have a project I'm working on - or worse - stuck on, my space is a complete disaster for however long it takes me to get my ass up and clean it. Most of the time though, I try to stay in a routine of once I'm finished with something, don't put it down, but it away. It's helped a lot.
What a beautiful space you have. I love your art work too. You’ve inspired me to get creating and back into my craft again as I have felt numb to it for a while 💖✨
Aaaa, this is so cool!! The attitude of the room is really similar to my gfs room and we're moving soon so I'm on a decoration youtube kick lol, I need ideas for stuff!
I totally resonate. I’m filming a home tour in 2 weeks and saw you had a video up and am like ‘ooo let me check out her format’ lol Normally I come for the witchy tips, today I get that and UA-cam tips !awesome video
My brother was stationed there for a few years, and I visited back in 2017! I'm trying to learn some baisic Japanese for when I return to explore the mainland one day~
@@TheWitchOfWonderlust ohh that’s very cool!! Funnily enough I am learning japanese as well haha. I just found japan’s language and culture very fascinating. wish I could go there one day as well:,) anyways all the best to you!
I love how you decorated and have accumulated so many meaningful objects! It reminds me of how I hope to decorate my new place with my well loved items, knick knacks, bones, plants, and gifts 🖤🥀
Great video!! But the most interesting part was your "books of shame"! LOL I have a funny feeling that your "books of shame" are those of which I have in great abundance in my "library of shame"! Fascinating video.
Great video girllll 🙌🏼🔥 and I miss those teatime horror stories.... Idk what is it maybe the voiceover kind of brought that teatime horror story vibes. I just loved those so much ... Please Olivia do more teatime stories pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 🙇🏽♀️❣️
Don't ask me why 4:03's frame did that. I have no idea.
I didn’t realize it did it that until you pointed it out but either way great vid, your room and your voice felt relaxing 💙
