Great footage in this video guys. Question- is there any special reason you don't cover or camo your faces! I've nearly always done this and covered my hands when on the ground type hunting. Even predator hunting with a rifle. IMO I'm sure this has allowed me to kill many animals that just couldn't figure out what I was. I also, for many many years, wear a loose leaf suit. I believe in this very much as it greatly helps break up the human form which apparently every animal on the planet can recognize. Just saying. I enjoy the heck out of watching your hunt videos.
If it was really that important everyone would do it. I paint my face sometimes for fun. Wind management is far more important.

We used our iPhone through our spotting scope with an adjustable phone mount. It works extremely well. 👍🏻

I park in that parking area all the time and walk up on that hill and glass across the road, always bucks chasing right there. And usually water in the creek. Good film guys!

I've got to get out there somewhere and bow hunt the little javies. Seriously, how far is this area from the California state line? I live in Amarillo and trying to get an idea of the distance. TIA
You could make it to Arizona in about 9 hours from Amarillo. You should make the trip, it’s a fun hunt in these tough spot and stalk conditions.
It's about 45 hours away. And damn it's hot over here. Nothing but rattlesnakes and cactus. Not worth the drive at all. Stay away! :)
This year AZGFD shut down 50% of OTC hunts because their campaign to pay out of state influencers/hunter to hunt was too successful and residents lost hunting opportunities.because of our bone head Game and Fish. #frustrating
It’s safe to say non-resident hunting has increased in all western states regardless of the social media influence, although it definitely plays a role. With that said, we were not paid to make this video by anyone, and we just wanted to share our experience with others so they too can enjoy a hunt like this of their own.
You guys have some epic hunts. I will have to check out a few more of them...
