I still remember being young and having no idea what asmr was. I'd just keep rewinding scenes like this because i found them relaxing but i thought it was just me for the longest time.
yes same here!! multiple different instances and scenes, had no idea what they meant or what the feeling was! even remember researching asmr about 2 years before the whole world learned about it. it was a 'great i am not crazy' moment.

Always stresses me out that she is going crazy fast with her hands when the camera faces her, but much slower when you see Edward...

I remember seeing a little piece of trivia about scenes like this, if the actor isn’t in the shot and it’s focused on the art, they have to use the sounds made by the artist creating. They usually do add little bits in tho
I think they would be proud, because those effects translate best when they are subconscious, or unintentional

Omg you're literally the first person I come across on the internet that finds that scene relaxing too, never find it on any ASMR compilation nor mentioned by anyone else. I think that was the first time ever I've experienced ASMR, it always triggers so many tingles, I love it so much 💕 Glad to see more people think the same.

I saw Battle of the Sexes at the theater and that scene definitely made me feel relaxed. I even saw Stepmom in the theater when I was a kid, I was just over 10 years old and Idk why we saw it. I didn't hate it, maybe because of scenes like that. I felt relaxed and had popcorn so I was happy.

I was just thinking that.I tried drawling myself three times the other day first sketch came out looking more like this suspected serial killer in my Korea film I was watching the other day where as the other two were half complete.. got so fed up a stopped. But like I am learning how to shade noses better but the eyes man the eyes always get me. Perhaps I should take her way out and make them faceless.everything else I’m golden on. Shading clothes and stuff is nothing. But even watching her do it, I expected her to ruin it. Like the artist in Hercules when he kept telling him to not when he was talking to Phil..

I believe either this Korean film was either Memories of a murder/Confession of a murder or Mother..but I know from seeing it what they are talking about. First this is his girlfriend/wife I don’t know for sure. She’s a nurse. She knows how he works ragged and doesn’t take care of himself so she’s giving him a free flu shot then and there. But also he is telling her about his case and how the murder killed this person and it’s weird. Somehow and I forget how it connected but they are discussing this meat shop with this guy who’s mentally challenged or something that peaked the cops interest with the guy,which is why he says the name. But the movies I mentioned above are all great so please give them a chance.
