I think the best ASMR is from the Secret Garden (1993). The Hours is basically entirely an ASMR experience, but specially the final dialogue between Meryl Streep and Juliane Moore, so good! very up close clear and crisp sound, you can tell the focus was the dialogue, the words, there’s barely any lighting at all too. also, most Tarantino movies have good ASMR, I imagine it’s the mic/sound setup, but specially on Kill Bill, the dialogue between Uma Thurman and Daryl Hannah while she reads and smokes, you can hear the cigarette burning, the mic just captures it so well! and I feel like ASMR in movies are one of our first ASMR experiences so it comes with a good feeling of nostalgia too! 🥰
