How to Troll for White Bass and Hybrid Bass

In this video, we do a demonstration of our most used method to troll for fish, and generally talk about how to troll for white bass. Specifically, we will be discussing how to troll spoons. It does not take any special trolling rods or reels, we just use spinning reels with some common types of rods. This method works well for winter fishing, as the fish are deeper and the spoons can get deep. We like to use spoons to troll, they are simple, and they catch fish! It was windy out there today so our apologies for the wind noise. We catch both Hybrid and White bass in this video. The water temp was around 50 degrees Fahrenheit, and we were fishing between 25 and 35 feet deep...until we also found fish in 14 feet of water. After following some birds to shallow water, we continued to catch fish back in a shallow cove. I would not have thought to fish that shallow in the winter, but it seemed to work. We will definitely try that again if we see birds.
