You should try snelling 2 single hooks on your live bait rig. One through the nostrils and one skin hooked behind the dorsal fin. It’s very easy to tie and very strong. I think the second big single hook is a benefit as well. I fish a very similar setup for stripers out her in california. We use pike minnows up too 18”. Nice video
My son caught a white bass with a lamprey on it last week I been fishing the clinch and other local lakes for forty years and that's a first I have seen.Are they native or invasive.
Im just wondering i have a friend that is getting older .we use to do alot of striper fishing n sc use to catch some nice fish but they dont have a size limit an alot of people keep anything.just woundering how much would a striper guided trip would cost us to come up an fish.my biggest is about 25 went to long island one time for work an a fellow told me where to go an what to use an guarantee i would catch a monster went an purchased about 5 hundred dollars to go fish the next day but boss called an said we had to head out to Virginia that night allmost quit but had to suck it up an head out only to find out when i got there that we could have stayed an fished the next day then head out so you know i had a few choice words for the lead man.o well any reply would be great thanks love watching all your videos been a long time subscriber keep them comeing

How far north do Skipjack go? I fish on the Ohio River in Wheeling, WV. Too far north or should I try fishing for them? Thanks
I think they go up that far. May need to check with your local fish and game department. They'll know for sure.
