You bring up a couple of things I want others to know about the PI. My Filipina laughs at me because I smile and wave at everyone I see. It's the best feeling to see a face instantly light up because I smiled or waved. The other topic is village life. The beauty is that these people don't spend energy thinking about making money as much as they think about obtaining food for each meal. It's not so much a desperate thing. They tend to barter. Family and neighbors inherently help eachother. If someone caught fish, they'll share with someone who harvests rice. That's just one example. There are fruits growing everywhere, too many chickens at times, pigs, etc... they don't stress for food, but plan for how and what they will receive. It's a beautiful life where the people aren't enslaved by western lifestyles. They're always happy.

@@Rwj378 No But I will look at her. I been riding over 50 years now. Just rode through10 islands and 50+ places in the phils. I wore my Harley half helmet, Harley boots, Harley safety sunglasses I brought with me and jeans and gloves. It was just too uncomfortable for me to ride with the Kevlar I have. I can't ride a scooter. If you can't downshift it is not for me haha. I have 2 Harleys in Florida. I have a 400cc Kawasaki in the phils that I customized with A radio with 4 speakers, cell phone holder, go pro holder, hard side bags, 65L top box, Front bag, crash guard with front pegs, thermos and cup holder, 2 usb ports, tons of lights, louder horn, windshield, new seat, 5L spare attached gas can. it's no Harley but does the trick there. Nobody mentioned the click-bait title of your video. I felt a bit negative, at first, your style is good. And hat interview with the couple was great. I really want them to succeed in everything and raise some great girls that also have a great life. Straightforward and honest people . And BTW Scotty, you are an excellent interviewer. You should be interviewing politicians, NWO/WTF snakes, etc. They would be shaking in their boots. Your questioning is direct and excellent.
You don’t need to put girls to entice people to watch your great travel vlog. It detracts from the interesting series of towns you visit. I got stopped for a while to watch. Just be yourself and do the show

When you get to a nice location like a beach it would be good to get a proper steady shot of it. I'm always curious to see it but all we get is a half second of a blurry pan, then it's on to the next place.
Seconded... like when you stopped at the beach with the waves .. one wanted to see big waves. The steady closeup on Glucose Snack Bar was epic though. Credit where Credit is due.

I appreciate you going to Mangagoy. I was there 22 years ago as it’s my ex-wife’s hometown. It’s good to see the city again. I’m living in Butuan nowadays.
Your vids just keep getting better and better! The bike was the ticket. I'm loving Mindanao! If I made only one small suggestion, when you first show the map, just identify which island we're on. I'm looking at this mountain area for relocation around Malaybalay in spite of it's nearly incessant rainfall, hoping for some cool. Keep up the great work Scotty!
Great trip on the scooter. These motorcycles trips are the best. And I like the face stills. Reading some of the expressions on the hot baberoonies faces is often the reason I watch. Maps are also a great context setter. One tip with google maps on your rides through areas without signal coverage: download offline maps for the areas you will be visiting. You will be able to navigate even if all you have is battery.
Absolute top quality longride traveller showrevue, Scott. Highly alive, spontaneous and authentically semi rawish. That is when you are at your best of varied talented sides. Your over enthusiasm comes from loads of inner pure enjoyment energies that shines strongly from your love/warm affection and charms for the phills.
Great video, Scott! So fun to watch you discover the thrill of traveling by bike. In a car or bus, you feel separate, like you’re watching scenery go by your window. On a bike, you’re part of it. Smell people cooking, doing laundry, feel the temperature change. Planning to visit phils for the first time later this year. Love what you do. These touring rides with maps are another level. Thank you. 👍👍
Thanks for showing the world, that the stereotype about Mindanao being a dangerous area, is all a myth. I sure hope many westerners see your video, and will be motivated to visit there also. 🤙🏼

When a girl jokingly asks if you're single, that's what most people would consider flirting, so it's totally fine to answer something like well I am for now but I'm open to exploring the possiblities if I meet someone special, if you know what I mean, and just see how they react!!!

He's too much. Scotty has him drum up drama and the and gives him a small cut. Only explanation other than he's just a nut.
Great adventures by Schotty. We sure do enjoy all your pictures and footage. Thanks. Great job.
Thanks 👍 again Edic my friend
Scotty, I almost cry with happiness at the joy you must be having. Please, one piece of advice, ALWAYS wear eye protection... ALWAYS, at a minimum wraparound sunglasses.
@@Rwj378 YES EYE GLASSES AT THE VERY LEAST . Slow down? I saw 22 kilometers on the speedometer ? that's 13 miles an hour did so see it faster?
It is a cheap man's version of a big bike crusier. You can't ride a scooter on the express way and I doubt they can do 100 kl an hour (?) for an extended ride. In Luzon you can go from Manila to Baguio in under 4 hours by big bike on the expressway over 8 hours by scooter on local roads. Scotty seen my Bike. We are friends only went to the Phils because of him. We are suppose to ride Palawan together in a few months. Then I am off to Cambodia and Thailand.
@@Rwj378Itchy Boots absolutely rocks! Last I watched she was in Africa someplace.
All the fuk he does is whine about one thing or another
As my brother in law says, helmet or no helmet decides open casket or closed.
In Philippines speeds are nowhere near US or Europe. I would say the difference between scars and bruises.
😎👍🇺🇲
I don't see what all the fuss is about.
He has his own style.
The pause on people isn't good or bad. It's just his style of content.
Cheers.
Pretty good video Scotty Boy. I can tell you're fine tuning the video production process and I expect the videos will get better with time. I feel like your videos will also help people know what and where to avoid in their Philippines journeys. Safe travels bro!
Scotty boy, if they really were offended from your freeze frames, they would stop watching your channel… Beauty is undeniable…👍👍👍
paul thats an excellent point haha
You don’t need to put girls to entice people to watch your great travel vlog. It detracts from the interesting series of towns you visit. I got stopped for a while to watch. Just be yourself and do the show
There's a Famous Song with that Title F F as well as one called LOVE STINKS lol ! Scott I'll be there soon. Fasting & Praying for our Fathers Protection covering you

I have two pieces of advice please accept this as constructive and not too critical. I am much older than you are and use to be a big motorcycle driver. #1. Use sunscreen on your arms to prevent skin cancer it is a real risk. #2. Get a pair of glasses of decent quality to protect your eyes.
Doesn’t make it any less creepy lol these blurry freeze frames of only what you can tell was a nice figure Filipina is useless
Scottie my boy...you are the King of the Klick bait. Keep up the good work my friend.
I appreciate that
When you get to a nice location like a beach it would be good to get a proper steady shot of it. I'm always curious to see it but all we get is a half second of a blurry pan, then it's on to the next place.
oh really? okay i'll remember that for next time
Seconded... like when you stopped at the beach with the waves .. one wanted to see big waves. The steady closeup on Glucose Snack Bar was epic though. Credit where Credit is due.
What a journey, Scotty boy ! You need to eat healthy man. I don't want you to get sick drinking sodas, gatorades, and sweet coffee. Safe travels from Los Angeles California
I appreciate you going to Mangagoy. I was there 22 years ago as it’s my ex-wife’s hometown. It’s good to see the city again. I’m living in Butuan nowadays.
oh dang must have been much different 22 years ago
I stayed there for a night last year. Nice little town
Throttle back on the caffeine sir. you are by far the most hyper Canadian ive ever seen . The locals are so relaxed you're going at 90 mph
Yes, he’s annoying👺
Use the helmet. Don't be an idiot!
Doctors don't refer to motorcycles as 'Donorcycles' for nothing. A bit worried here about our good man, especially in any island traffic.
Your 'NG' Pronunciation is spot on Scotty boy , I'm impressed 👌
Enjoy your travels ---Becoming Filipino with humor! my wife is coming home ( Bacolod area) on vacay next month for only two weeks.
oh really she's from bacolod so i guess when you visit thats your main place
@@Regular_Guyph Yes but Silay City to be exact.
I gotta know how Scott has those haters ,, polite and decent guy travelling and hurting nobody......... I guess haters just need to hate
F*ck the haterinos
One can try using fake a.i thumbnails for each video
It doesn't matter who you are or what you do. Some people will hate you.
@@dud3man6969 But to troll the guy ,, it's just sick. There are some you tubers I don't like , so I just don't watch their channel ,
That’s how the haters bump-up their views and bring it more income.
Your over enthusiasm comes from loads of inner pure enjoyment energies that shines strongly from your love/warm affection and charms for the phills.
hey marco my friend i love your kind words
@@Regular_Guyph I like your efforts too, dear Scott. As mostly quite often, let's just say Nearly Always.
Thank you. 👍👍
You better put that helmet on or you will lose what little brains you have left. 😂. At least wear eye protection.
Very nice Scotty boy. 😊😊. Really enjoying the longer videos and your travels take care buddy ❤️🙏💯🇺🇲
Get a usb port in your nmax so you can continously charge your devices and gadgets
he does not have his bike hooked up completely
I really enjoyed You taking us along with You on your Journey! Malaybalay is truly Paradise! Never stop Freeze Framing!👍
Thanks for showing the world, that the stereotype about Mindanao being a dangerous area, is all a myth.
I sure hope many westerners see your video, and will be motivated to visit there also. 🤙🏼
Since you got that bike,i love what you show us even better.beautiful Philippines and great Scotty-Scooty !!! 🛵😊
Scotty! Learn to download the map area you need into your phone so it won't matter if the signal goes out!! You're welcome.
fkkk fantastic idea thanks
This video is a lot enjoyable to watch because you show us in the map where you are located. Great job man. Continue doing what you are doing. You are doing well.
This whole vid was great. Thank you all the work you put into this
hey david your kind comment is all i wish for thanks a lot
Scott, you look like a happy little boy on that bike… But definitely an external mic would help with the sound with the wind muff works really good.👌
Haha love your enthusiasm on driving around the PH🇵🇭🇵🇭
Jhoanne thanks so much
give up jho, you are about 20 years too old for p3do scotty.
Whoa, what an amazing vlog with so much in it! Thank you for sharing this! The maps is my favorite and I went over to google to check it out. Also, looked up some towns on wiki. What a view coming down the hill and seeing that gorgeous tropical beach! Safe travels and can not wait for the next one! I could live just off lattes too, I get that! 🎉
Did you take offense with the freeze frames on the babaroonis smiling?
@@Regular_Guyph No offense at all! That is one of my favorite parts as I think it’s interesting what you capture…or as they say “ different characters “. I’m a people watcher so even I like to see the Babearoonie!
PS: Scotty, I’m really really digging the vlogs you’ve started since you got your bike, they are next level!
@@Regular_Guyph you really went far in 2 days after I looked at the map. Amazing!
What a great couple. Scottie's usual awkward interview style but it works. The life they have is a dream for many of us.
Not with all those vehicles and that size house
Man, you are living the life! Riding your bike adds a new dimension to your travels, as does your voice over with the maps. That view coming down the hillside with the view of the water and the island was awesome. You are giving me some ideas when we go live with our RV USA travel channel.
Wear a sleeve when riding bro. You will burn your arms; especially during long rides.
Yes I agree Been there and done it.
yeah i been burned so many times now im immune i think
Skin cancer + no health insurance = 😢
It is nice how you incorporate maps, making it easy to follow along. No leathers or boots and hammer down. Free as a bird.
Loved the home tour. What a nice house. Looks so comfortable and green. Edit: Motorcycle accidents in the PH are not a question of if, but when. Can't believe you don't wear a helmet. Scary stuff!
Come on man. I wouldn't stear you wrong about the coffee waygon. 😂
Scotty....I have to admit, one of your best videos ever. Just a simple ride on the " scoot" and God's beautiful creation....Wow!
When a girl jokingly asks if you're single, that's what most people would consider flirting, so it's totally fine to answer something like well I am for now but I'm open to exploring the possiblities if I meet someone special, if you know what I mean, and just see how they react!!!
that's too many words for a line. how about yes but you can change that or yes I was waiting for you
Just say Yes, are you single? back at her and see what she says
@@solointhephilippines That's one option but in my expereince it's better to be a bit playful and intdirect, however the point is there are a lot of things Scotty could say in those situations.
@@kell7195 That's an option for sure, however flrting is about being playful while showing interest being able to escalate or dial it back based on the signals you get.
Great vid Scotty Boy, Okay, either of the girls at the counter when you were leaving looks like dating material, especially the one standing. That expat is one of the lucky ones, five years still going. I guess every once in a while you find a Diamond, it's just the process can be frustrating, I'm sure the fact she had kids already did play a part but good on him, she also stuck around when the going got rough, try that in America. Happy motoring. When I get there I'm going to buy a Ryker Rally 600. I need the stability it gives.
Wow, Scotty boy is on a trip right now, heading down dat highway!!!
apparently there are npa on that highway i didnt even know
@@Regular_Guyph Hmmm, NPA?
I don't know what it is, non performing assets?
Anyway, looks like you're having a real adventure out there.
Scott, I really enjoy your new videos via the scooterooni. Please keep making these great videos and taking us to places we dream about. Be safe and enjoy your new adventures.
Loved the interview.
That foreigner is insane to pay real $ for any land or properties in the PH.
I hope things don't go pear shaped for the guy, jeez. 🙏🏻
So many get memorized by the putang they think with thier little head not their big one. I just hope for all of them it works out. For the ones it don't it's their fault.
“Could I live here?” Yes! Yes I could. I can pretty much live anywhere except places where people want to chop my head off and scream Death to America then ululate (you know…that howling sound using the tongue)….if you know what I mean. If you don’t, see Family Guy Season 11 Episode 16.
Glad you showed more footage of riding through these incredible areas. It looked like a lot of fun. You can probably place some tape over the mic to decrease wind noise. Scooting along the coastlines and through the mountains of the Philippines is a goal of mine. And Mindanao seems to be a clean island.
Girls aren’t really throwing themselves at you are they?
You’re better looking than I am that means I would have a hard time with the ladies. at least that’s what I would imagine. I don’t think I’m as picky as you are, though I can’t afford to be.
Damn bro! Traveling from town to town in the Philippines is my dream !!!
Seeing all the wonderful people, w/friendly smiles !!!
I just hope that someday you find a traveling companion!!!
Before you get too old!!!!
yeah the small towns girls don't throw themselves at you we are very alien in those towns

Also there is a very good night market with food stalls and good to stroll around...
Tagum is the government seat for Davao.. Pretty wealthy and many good modern services.
Large shopping malls movie theaters real beef hamburgers too...
Also at the mall you may be able to find a rain gear pants with jacket.. Put under your seat for safe keeping... cheers.
