I'm just going to put "exposed" in all my videos. It seems to work well. You sure are making the youtuber circuit. Cant wait till you show up with the talk show host girl or the bandana guy.

Hey RG, that was by far your best interview ever! I am 53 and I realize how much Paul’s life mirrors my own. The interview was so great because it explains how many of us are making the decision to give the Philippines a try. I will be there for my first scouting trip in February. I’m already in countdown mode to 62. Just have to grind it out a few more years until the kids are on their way out. But thanks to you and Paul I see the light!😂

Just come as a tourist first. Check out many islands. It's still very much a third world country in many areas. You will have to temper the expectations a lot.

Love this guy Paul. Despite the marriages, children and careers our lives ran parallel. For me? i retired from Law Enforcement with 2 pensions in 2007. My journey started in the Dominican Republic from 2007-2011. After a failed rental car business in the Dom Rep, i did go to Thailand in 2008 with a side trip to Cebu. i finally met my Filipina wife in 2010 and married her in 2013. Yep, living a great life now, between Texas and Davao City. Congrats to Paul and many more years of happiness! ~Scott & Cherryl~

Of the bloggers I know, Scott and Paul are probably my two favorites. Paul's life story is kinda like a modern day Job, but very inspiring. Scott, I love your humor and personality, and it's very nice to share your experiences and see different places in the Philippines. If I was ever blessed with the opportunity to come there, I would love to meet you both, and Mae of course. She's an amazing lady! God Bless You guys!

Wow, The Myth, The Legend interview with Paul/Old Dog was very interesting. Paul and I share similar parallel tracks. Oddly enough, I never got married, came close several times but freedom & independence is a powerful thing.
My Dad said to me when I was 6 or 7, "Never Get Married Until Your 65". At the time I thought it was strange but never forgot those words of wisdom.
Fast Forward to today. Retired at 52 and decided on Thailand after several recon visits. I originally planned for Cebu City after extensive visits, but opted for the better infrastructure of Thailand. Don't get me wrong, I still feel a Filipina is the Best Women Of This World, I just needed more modern living conditions, which I found in Pattaya.

I can relate. I am an ACOA (Adult Child Of an Arsehole). There was no alcohol in my home, just mental illness. The effect it had on me and my relationships were devastating. Took a long time and a lot of work to get to a good place. I am now less than 1 year away from coming to SE Asia, and won't be looking for a relationship partner for a while. Take care of myself first, get comfortable in my surroundings, and then find someone to fill that open slot vs what it seems most men do... build their life around someone from a culture they don't understand.

Excellent interview. I watch all the vloggers Paul mentioned. Paul's a good guy and his life seems very similar to mine right now as far as the rat race is concerned. I'm 55 right now and counting the days. Thanks for this inspirational vlog. Stay safe.

I knew right from the start of this video based on Old Dog's own video on this topic I had a lot of hunches confirmed about the washback of many of life's events particularly from a guy's perspective but what I didn't expect are some similarities with my own upbringing from the parental perspective with RGs story.Great video RG !

Great stories showing how both of you rose from adversity. I have one as well but it's great to know determination and drive isn't so uncommon. I give this a Siskel and Ebert two thumbs up 👍👍

@@truthseeker-y1o you sound jealous, let me guess, you never left your hometown, still dreaming of getting a passport one day? and pervert is an opinion, of which no no one cares what yours is. just saying pervert with zero proof is useless.
