It's odd tone and atmosphere were really ahead of their time. Look at how weird stuff is these days (TV shows, indie games). Armikrog just wasn't the same. The Neverhood feels like one of those games (like Earthbound) that just wasn't appreciated in its time.

They filmed it in higher res tho, but it had to be compresses and optimazied for slow old PCs. Tehnically, if they still have the og footage, they could remake the game with higher rez. But would it be financially worth it for them? Probably not.

It still holds up incredibly well 22 years later & it could easily pass for a reboot without even being remastered. The art, sound & gameplay combined is arguably the best playstation game of all time.
Can we get Klaymen into Smash Bros.? I know it would be impossible, but holy butts that would be such a fun character in a fighter. Just clumsy claymation-antics.
@@SirVoltz microsoft lost the rights to blinx the cat hes practically public domain so i think we just have to wait for klaymen to be public domain too. or cause a gigantic influx of customer interest for klaymen.
This game is a literal one of a kind there will be never another game much like it unless a remaster of it is ever created in the modern age of stop motion
