My 2014 audi A4 2.0T ZF-8 speed automatic running a stage 2 tune from Intergrated Engineering with a stock innercooler doing a pull through 2nd to 3rd gear IAT's would easily hit 140°F. I upgraded to a better (not best) innercooler and now can pull to 100+ mph and not hit 100°F. When I first got the car it was full stock and did a 0-60mph pull, then did it again after I removed the whole airbox and replaced it with a K&N pod filter, and drop over a full second 0-60! I was actually amazed how much it picked up. I have since put the IE intake on it, plus when I had the head off because we torched a valve I painted the cam cover and metal intake manifold... It looks way better in there now!
Thank you, I have no idea, had to search a lot what turbo I even get, IS20 it seems, I want more power than 190PS, hopefully tune of engine/gearbox is good enough.
The words said about inductions kits was my final conclusion on them after loads of research, I expect a loss adding it now, but eventually after many other mods & the remap it will reverse the result (from decrease efficiency/bhp to increase), or so I hope ^^
@@torquecars Am glad someone as well versed and experienced as yourselves agree, all that time reading and searching not wasted if conclusiosn the same ^-^
1.8tfsi here BYT Put a hybrid turbo on it, bigger intercooler, and 200cell katlyc downpipe, went for a stage 3 tune, maxed at 285 hp. I need bigger injectors, I hope to see about 340hp in the future
and i have a 1.8TFSI BZB which is stock for the moment, but i need information on rather the engine will hold the power, 300-350hp on the stock internal, just the sustaining mods. Do you have any informations or something that can at least lead me somewhere? BYT and BZB are similar if not "the same" so it must hold almost the same power output
My own experience best upgrade street performance for EA888.2 CCZB 2.0 TSI DQ250 DSG 400Whp. 1. Ram air intake 2. EA28R450HP turbo 3. Additional Single point petrol fuel injector like from stratified auto 4. PCV oil separator like from Vika STO 5. High capacity in tank fuel pump 6. For cars came with Bosch HPFP change it with Hitachi HPFP 7. Plasma coil plug from Japan. 8. Performance intercooler. 9. Iridium spark plugs 10. 3 inch full exhaust system. 11. Enlarge exhaust valve with new valve seat and porting the exhaust cylinder head channel 12. Upgrade DQ250 Clutch. 13. Remap ECU and TCU. Cost me around USD 10K.
@@torquecarsYes, it is a good result for a build without water methanol. I did some mistakes with the build before to a different car. 1. Enlarged intake valve and porting intake valve channel - this shift the power band to the higher rpm which not good for a street performance car. 2. Bigger charge pipe from turbocharger to intercooler - this build increased turbo lag. 3. Use PCV delete - This upgrade good for high boost but oil consumption going crazy.
Hello. I have a golf gti performance mk7.5 gpf 2019 model. It's standard engine set up with gfp still installed but with a milltek cat back with a res delete.. just wondering if I can get a better sound without doing a gpf delete... don't get any pops or bangs . Just want a better sounding or do I have to do a gpf delete or would a tune be better or a muffler delete do anything?
I've got the A3 8P1 2.0TFSI quattro auto,l I think with the gen 2 ea888 engine, my manifold went, I fixed that, now iv got an oil leak at the back of the engine.
can i ask i have a 2.0 tfsi bwa enigine i have upgraded the intercooler /decat straight thorugh miltec exhaught /ram air induction kit/vis hpfp/and the rs4 fuel return valve ...im about to map it but the mapper is saying the car is over fueling on idle could it be the rs4 return valve courseing my problem as some ppl say its not needed on a k03 turbo?
It will be there soon, I'm just writing the script for it. There are so many subtle differences I want to get it right. Just sorting out a few odd points that don't make sense to me yet.
Hi iv got a audi a4 1.8 tfsi sline was thinking about a remap stage one to get a bit more hp will this mess the car up its a 2009 thanks its done 150k thanks alot
It will be the EA888 a late 1st Generation or early 2nd Generation if I recall correctly you are on the year of change. For example my A4 from the same year had the BUL engine code (transverse engine), anyhow most of this video will apply to your engine my friend, there is quite a bit you can do on these.
Hi mate I’ve got a 2014 a3 1.8 tfsi Quattro sport back I really want to tinker with it but it is a family car over all so I don’t want to break it haha do I need to watch what parts I got as it’s a Quattro or no ? I’m looking to do a de cat - hi flow res and a valve back box but I’m unsure if it’s better with 2.5 inch and 3 inch size ? And am I better retro fitting and s3 turbo rather than after market ? I’m looking for around 350 bhp ideally I just need to know good supporting mods for that power and be able to keep it safley
I’ve seen folk fit rs3 ht leads and big air intakes ko4 turbos exhaust and a map ? Will I need a thicker oil after these have been fitted as it’s higher power
@krishnapatel2863 the title of the video wasn't the history of it all. It's says best mods and tuning.. stating numbers isn't informative on how to achieve these numbers. I want tuning info what needs to be changed. The mods list is everywhere for these cars so not so important.
Good engine choice, I had a BUL version in my 2007 A4 Quattro and it was great to work on and made really good power gains. K04, Intake and remap are the choice mods on those for the higher power gains, unless you have front wheel drive, as traction is usually a big problem at 230hp.
Get an extra water pump, learn how to do it, and watch your water level closely or you'll fry it. $2500 at an Audi dealer. Lasted 3 weeks. Back again. Is a A5 cab worth the trouble,? Yes, the first two times...

Have you put out a video on the 3rd gen EA888 yet? I'm very interested but can't seem to find it yet

Can we tune the EA888 Gen 3B 2.0 TSI engine. Have heard since it's a high compression engine there is not much tuning potential?
Thinking about the exact same thing..

Bro, don't keep saying "what's the best way to make power" then go on again about the history of the engine family etc.
How do you know where you're going if you don't know where you're from?

Don't really care about the motor history. No substitute for poor durability.
