the chain drops in the slot, there is an angle device on the base, around 45 degrees seems to be the best angle. the chain slides in the slot into the right place where the grinder drops in. you do have to be careful to put the chain in the right direction so you sharpen over previous go`s and keep going in the same direction.

Useful to see in use. I have a Husqvana 346xp. How do you set up the chain and the correct angle on the sharpener?
