In central Illinois 2 weeks ago we experienced a downdraft that toppled trees and tore up a few houses. We've never had anything like that before. Wasn't straight line winds but a huge downdraft of air
Up here in the NW suburbs and we definitely got some of this. Winds were crazy I enjoy them though I k ow some find it scary but I think they are beautiful. Be safe. Great footage!
The Midwest may have a barrage of natural disasters, but the majority of the people there are much easier to get along with than in the two major coasts.
W Fox No my friend flopped one loaded with bales with his young son in the passenger seat. No injuries as they usually go over pretty slow. I just happened by and took the boy home.
Its funny but its NOT FUNNY but look at all the metal buildings with all the roofs gone. THAT advertise wind ratings well above this. So lets wait and see all those Warren ties play out hahahahahaha. @@Kaden4 winds were 55-75mph. It blew through really quickly. Besides tree limbs down and some power outages it was just a good straight line wind.

You wouldn’t say it that way if that were you. Trucking is their livelihood and some even lose all they have when a truck goes over.
All day long we had warnings of this storm coming. Do truckers ignore them?
One of these came through Virginia about ten years ago.... it took them nineteen day's to finally get our power back on.... a total mess!

The safest places to be in Rochelle are those 4 cold storage whse when I was running there it was TLC 1 Sara Lee Americold 1&2. 7 yrs ago.
