The 2nd Fig Farm was by far the best... it seemed so cozy and unique. I loved the vibe.
It was my favorite for sure!
I would definitely go for #2 for sure. Seems like you definitely get your money’s worth.
Dates are not figs
I would say camp number 2 with AC and seemed like you get way more for your $ with the private jacuzzi and the vibe you show was great 🎉
Yeah absolutely. #2 was the best!
"He's got yurt money??" awesomeness, commentary on point. nice reviews of the options out there in the desert
I don’t have hurt money 😂 😭. Thanks for watching!
"Not sure if the Mexican coke is going in my mouth or in my nose." 😂😂 That joke made me hit the subscribe button fast.
Thank you 😂
Just found your channel and I subscribed, I think it could blow up! I like the concept and your sense of humor and editing cracks me up. Keep it up!
Glad you found it. Thank you for watching and subscribing. I love making these. I’ll keep it up 😅
Totally agree!!
Into my nose or my mouth- I about spit out my coffee. 5 stars for that joke!
Thank you 😅😂
I’ve stayed at the date farm with my wife and pup about 4 months ago. Great little spot for a relaxing getaway, my wife and I thought at least. A little pricy but the host is nice and he is very tentative to help 🤙🏼
And note we stayed at the same spot there 😂
I agree!
Definitely #2...and bring my own Mexican coke!
Yeah BYOC for sure.
Number 2 hands down !! I also love The Good House in Desert Hot Springs ... much cheaper than Number 3 and way better!
Absolutely. 💯
The second place looked pretty relaxing! The AC sounds awesome for the area in the 3 hot seasons in Joshua Tree area.
The AC was so nice! Thanks for watching.
#2 for sure!! That was super cool and really not too bad of a price for what you get.
Totally agree! I loved that place. Mad I paid so much for spot 3
Berdoo canyon exiting in Indio Hills is awesome.
To be honest I've camped in many number ones in my life. Never got stabbed but the threat was real. Heck, I slept on a picnic table in downtown Miami with gun battles going on around me. It said it was a campground, it ended up being a murder park. The Mexican Coke was definitely real. It's those times you wake up in the morning and realize all the wildlife is in your sleeping bag with you because they're also afraid to be in that park alone that you'll always remember.
Oh man. That sounds like a blast. 😂
Hopefully it didn’t cost $11
@@karrpoollane we were "cheaping out" on a road trip to the keys to do some diving. There was this camping area in Miami, I think the tent pads were made of discarded needles. I told my buddy, "I'm just gonna sleep on the picnic table". Woke up with raccoons in my sleeping bag with me. I had very cheap friend back then. He was the rest area camping king.
Murder park 😂
Really cool vid. I would take the 2nd. Seems like a relaxing way to visit Joshua Park.
I agree ☝️
I wish I could just quit my job and do what u do the freedom u have amazing just living life to the fullest seeing God's country. Keep up the video brother
Thank you for watching. I’ll keep it up. It wasn’t easy getting to this point but it’s finally starting to pay off.
@@karrpoollane
Right on!!!
Well deserved stay after some of the other camping spots you’ve been to.. nice to chill out once in a while..
Thanks! Yeah I’m not used to glamping.
Definitely the second one
Man I love your creative handling of all the info you got from Ron. 4.2 star for comical production, sorry only 1.2 star for educational summary of desert aquifers.
#2 for sure. Love your campground review videos. Came across the Pismo Beach review. Love Oceano. I’m an RVer and the site levelness was nice to see. Look forward to more of your one star campground reviews.
#2 was the best! Welcome to the channel. Thanks for watching. I love Oceano too!
loved this, all around. Thank you for the recommendations and the laughs 😂
Thank you for watching! 🙂
The first one would only be good if it was dispersed camping and in the middle of nowhere!
The third one, waaay to expensive for my taste and what they offer.
But the second one?? WOW!!! It's perfection! Great price, full size pool (not that crap from #3) private Jacuzzi, and A/C in the yurt? can't go wrong! and so lush with all those palm trees. Loved it!
Yeah it was perfect. Loved that place.
@@karrpoollane i must definitely check it out once it gets colder. Awesome review!
The yurt 🛖 with AC where they gave you the box of dates & the nice big pool. (Of course I liked the campsite at JTNP, too, but it can be hard to get a reservation). 🎉
I agree. Spot #2 was the best
Mexican Coke FTW👊🏻
Yeahhhhhhh 🤘🏾
These campground review videos are amazing. New subscriber and can't wait to check out more of your content. Thank you for making the big sacrifices for us. I'm trying to talk my wife into that $85 yurtscursion. Looked pretty awesome.
Thanks for joining the channel and for recognizing my sacrifice 😂. I’ll keep them coming. Hope you and the wife get to take that yurtscursion
Has anyone ever told you that your voice sounds just like Wheezy Waiter on UA-cam? You are a cool dude, love listening to your reviews and proving some of the negative reviews around to being a positive experience 😊
Nooo 😂. I have to check him out now though. Thanks for watching!
He’s an OG tuber. Quite the compliment. I think it’s safe to say you’re an over landing wheezy waiter.
Great video. I dig your laid back style and reviews. You keep me laughing throughout. Keep up the great reviews and videos. Also, campsite #2 fosho.
Thank you kind sir! I appreciate that. I’ll keep it up 👍🏾. Yeah #2 rocked!
These videos are so funny and entertaining. Keep 'em coming Jordan!
You got it! Thanks for watching!
Looking good! The visited camp spots too!
Thank you 🙏
Great video as always Jordan!
Thanks homie 🤘🏾
❤ love the middle camp.that was the nicest with more to do..
I agree! It was the best! Thanks for watching.
I loved driving thru Joshua Tree. The rocky part. Took some great pics of our Motorhome nestled in the rocks. I long to be back. I belong there lol. Unfortunately my husband passed away and my travels to your beautiful country (which I saw very little of) are over. Another area I loved was Oatman. Now I'm sad. But I do have great memories.
I’m so sorry to hear about your husband and I hope that you one day return there. ❤️
I tried to like this video without watching, I knew it was going to be a banger.
Thank you 😊
I stayed at that date farm a couple years ago. They never got the AC working, but they did fill a tub for us, which was pretty nice. Hopefully they got their power situation sorted since then.
No way! Luckily it worked while I was there.
Number #2 for me too! Gracias for your great video full of great info 👏🏾👏🏾💯🔥🔥
Thanks for watching.
#2 because they had an actual pool, the private jacuzzi, and the a/c in the yert.
The date farm 👍🏻
My choice as well!
Wife and I made it a mission to see the Red Woods! During a rest stop I came across one of your videos. I live in the Joshua Tree area great vid you gotta a subscriber!
That’s awesome. Thank you so much.
Hey bro! I'm a new subscriber, awesome videos. I love camping, I became addicted as a kid and couldn't shake the habit. I hope this helps others realize camping is unforgettable. It's an adventure good or bad.
Totally agree. Thanks for subscribing. Welcome to the channel!
I am in on the second one
I reckon a good date at the date farm. That place looked great for the price and a personal hot tub, with FRESH unique mineral water too! and A/C - how cool is that ( well thats what an/A/c is for!.) lol. Anyway ... 1 was a bust, and 3 looked nice, but no a/c and not as good a vibe as Number 2. So for $85, i think thats pretty reasonable
Hahaha the AC was too cool! #2 is definitely the move.
Love the content! I would choose #2. I lived in Skyvalley near Desert Hot Springs. You should try Skyvalley Resort and Spa.
Oooo I’ll write that down. Thanks for watching.
Siri came in clutch with the Mexican coke though😂 you would have been waiting a while because I was clueless
Wait! Are you theeee Ashley that brought me the drink!?!? 😅
@@karrpoollane indeed I am😭
#2 yurt ground for sure. awesome review video bro.
Thanks for watching! #2 rocked.
Second spot for sure. Love these camp review vids.
Right! #2 was the best! Thanks for watching!
2nd. Having an AC and being in a cool fig farm? That’s hard to beat. Plus they have RV spaces!!
Absolutely! Totally agree!
Love your content!
Thank you so much 😊
😮thanks for the information bro 😎!!!
No problem big Dempsey!
Pay this man!
Please, Somebody 😅
Leather face approves spot #1
Date Farm for sure!
12:40 I never make the bed before I leave. They'll have to change the sheets for the next guest, and then they'll make the bed.
As for the camping, I always have one question for a spot in a southwestern desert. Are there scorpions? If yes, I don't camp there. (Almost died several years ago after being stung by an Arizona Bark Scorpion. The life-saving anti-neurotoxin cost $95,100. Money well spent.)
Literally refer to it as Mexican Coke or Mexicoke all the time, lol. I live in LA though. 2nd camp all day long! Best value by FAR!
Mexicoke is bomb! Yeah #2 for the win!
I am so glad I found yer channel, my dude. Also. Wherrrrre did you get those sunglasses? I needs them.
Thanks for finding it 😂 I think I got those glasses at Dick’s
NUMBER 2!!!!
That’s my favorite too!
I think you get a lot for your money! Would love to see u do some campground reviewing down in Borrego Springs . Yall would love that area! There is the state park campground. Then there is one of those fancy campgrounds with spaced for motor homes …then there is dispersed BLM …IF YALL HAVE NEVER BEEN, GO!
livin the dream my friend, livin the dream.
We recently tried Hip Camp and found a spot called Caribbean Mojave Escape - Joshua Tree (Yucca Valley). Their pictures didn't lie, wonderful spot but we too went straight into JTNP after setting up camp cause if you're not camping in JT, then it's just not as fun.
I agree!
😂 there was some chisme?? Lmao 😂😂😂that was hilarious!
There was 😂
What's up dude, if you're looking to check out some yellow post spots in big bear area! I've been looking to check out some spot up there, be cool to have someone to travel with that actually enjoys the outdoors!
4 stars for the chisme by the pool got me 😂😂😂. Great video!!!
I’m glad you said that. I was like, I hope everyone knows what I mean by chisme 😂
I would pick #2. 3 looks pretty nice, but not all that different from #2 as far as camping.
Exactly. #2 for the win!
Your camp site videos are awesome!! What front bumper is on your Bronco?
Thank you so much. It’s the WNC bumper from Lobo Offroad
pretty sure #3 was on House Hunters TV show on HGTV a few years back
That’s wild.
you kicked over the toilet there @2:40 or was that the provided stove?
ooh dates upon entrance to campground #2,
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
pool with doggos, free head and shoulders, "Hi Ron!"
private hot tub with spring water (love that so much)
#3 the castle houses and shipping container homes were pretty neat looking from outside
theater room was nice
for a larger group I would probably choose #3 so everyone could put in and at night we could watch movies in the theater room, but otherwise definitely #2. Cheaper and dates upon entrance is definitely a win.
I think what I kicked was all of the above.
Yeah #2 was so great. I loved it.
You should review the KOA on Boulder Highway in Las Vegas. Interesting place in a sketchy part of town.
Oh man. Sounds warm and fun
RV Gang! (Am I officially a gang member now?)
You are. Be sure to get all the required tattoos.
I am enjoying your videos. #2 looks like the one I would like the best. #3 was a joke. #1 Is very familiar for me since my family camps on BLM land to motorcycle ride. Looks just like #1.
Thanks for watching. I’m fine with BLM camping on something like #1 for free. $11 hurt tho 😂
Yurt the man!
I see what you did there 😂 thank you
Jordon , definitely #2
I agree. Thanks for watching.
Awesome video. I need yurt money to go check those places out
Me too. I’d definitely recommend Yurt 2. Better price and has AC and the private hot tub.
@@karrpoollane good to know. Thanks 🫡
When he has a national park pass>>>>>😅🔥
Yeah. He sleeps in yurts and has a national park pass. Get in line mam 😘
Watching from a rainy campground
Thanks for watching! Hope the rain clears up
That last place looks like someone's girlfriend decorated that place from Pinterest- same for the pool.
100% 😂
I predict more yurt camping reviews in the future.
I’m a yurt man now 🤷🏽♂️
Booyah 👊🏽 😁 👍🏽 🇺🇸
easy choice.. # 2 thew fig farm
Agreed
I would pick #2
Mexican Coke has real sugar.
Ohhhh that’s what that kick was 😂
That's a pretty good size pizza honestly. Love me some Mexican Coke.
Yeah it was a good sized pie. Coke was 5/5 😂
Hey what mic are you running there? I like the lavaliere style and sounds great!
Thanks! I’m using the DJI Mic 2 with the DJI lavaliere mic
I ACTUALLY MEANT TO SAY “THE COVE PALISADES STATE PARK” ITS IN OREGON AND THE DESCHUTES CAMPGROUND IS WITHIN IT, ITS ALSO STILL IN THE TOWN OF CULVER.(and if you do stay there, make sure that it will be sunny and that you see the sunrise, it will be the most amazing thing that you ever see.)
Oh right on. Thank you 🙏
RV gang! j man just found your channel.
Yeah! Gang gang! Welcome to the channel! Thanks for watching!
Are you a dad? Cuz you keep spittin’ the insane dad jokes lol… Love the humor
Not yet. Just practicing 😂
@@karrpoollane You’ll be a great dad. Keep doing what you are doing. Thanks for the great content.
Obviously, camp 2 was the best deal. Camp 3 was a rip-off. Camp 1, though, could be a good option if you were a bunch of RVers having a meet-up. You could set up your own little RV village and not be bothered by other campers. At $11 a day, it could be a good deal.
Agreed. You might have a point on #1. They just need to chop down all those bushes so y’all can maneuver through there.
#2 for sure
#2 was the best!
Fun!
Thank you 🙏
For $342 you would think they could forgo the ten cents!
Amen. I love your profile picture. It goes with this comment perfectly and I totally agree.
Hi Ron!
I have a feeling that I know where #1 is. It probably caters to people who need a spot near the JT music festival. Tbh, there is blm land you can camp on for free in that area, in fact, someone may be charging for a spot you could be camping on for free. #2 was really cool, I would stay there myself, but it’s a long way from any entrance into the park, even Berdoo Canyon. There is a free campground with flush toilets in a nature Preserve very near there, you just need to make a reservation and get the combination to the gate. It’s hidden away along a creek. I know exactly where #3 is, and it was fun to see what’s in there, but kind of disappointing too. Also probably illegal. Especially selling booze. But it is the desert, I doubt anyone will rat them out. Also a good choice if you are going to the music festival.
#2! But I want to know exactly where this is. When I go to the hip camp website, it says it's in Riverside lol and the map doesn't enlarge all the way. And google doesn't have the listing as "Mineral Springs Date Farm" or "Date Farm, Desert Hot Springs".
My choice as well. I can send you a link directly if you want to message me on a different platform. I think I’ll post a link to each spot on my Patreon.
It’s in Riverside County (not the city).
@kathykeene2092 thank you. I was confused at first lol would still love to know the exact location, but seems maybe they don't want you to know until you book.
@kathykeene2092 I just noticed your last name...Keene is my mom's maiden name. Related maybe?
It's the Columbian coke you should worry about 🤣
I would have ordered it if I’d seen it on the menu 😎
How much was the bougie (sp?) yert? I don’t recall seeing a price.
2!
Absolutely 👍🏾
Mexican Coke is made with cane sugar and tastes WAY better
I’m a fan now.
How long are these accommodations for? The desert wasteland, campground number one was 11 bucks? How many nights do you get for 11 bucks? If 11 bucks gets you a week or even a month it might not be too bad but if it’s 11 bucks a night? I’d rather stay on the side of the road.
$11 bucks a night 🙃
Bruh, Mexican Coke is the best, but it's just Coca-Cola with pure cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. It's a So Cal thing, big in San Diego at Taco Shops.
I'm definitely taking the Date Farm if I'm solo camping, but if I'm with a girl, I'm taking the high $ option.
I didn’t know that. That’s awesome though.
If you do go the high $. Don’t get the yurt. Go for one of the other ones like the container or castle tower thing with air conditioning.
Fig farm is the best. And Mexican Coke is made with real sugar and not high fructose corn syrup like the “American” Coke.
Absolutely. Yeah I had no clue until someone else said that in the comments. Thats awesome. They’re good.
$85 for a bell tent with AC? Great deal!
Not too shabby right?
PLEASE GO TO THE DESCHUTES CAMPGROUND IN CULVER OREGON
Is it bad?
@@karrpoollaneto me, no. but i have no idea what the reviews are, so to others it might be
