Looks like you're having fun!!! I haven't flown since I sold my Volksplane VP-1 a couple of decades ago. It was interesting watching you fly into Wolf Airpark a while back. The guy who bought my VP-1 stalled it on final there right after he bought it, and wrecked it on the end of the runway. Fortunately he was fine, but it was a bad day for the airplane.
Nice smooth touch and go's. Isn't the service ceiling 10k feet? I didn't see any videos on your channel where you have flown very high. Any plans to take this bby to 10k feet soon?
Good video! More cameras would be nice so that you could cut from the view of you flying to a view out the front when landing and taking off. That would be great.
Hi again Terry. Please excuse the somewhat crazy text. It is due to fat gingers and my phone has two languages on it. Italian and English. Simetimes I type in English but this phone decides it will wright in Italian. Drives me nuts. Anyway, please keep up the great work and I hope to be in touch soon with an order for hardware and instruments. That reminds me. Nobody mentioned anything about weight saving if the instruments were shaved down to the minimum and the dashboard was done away with. I don't think it's a good idea, but if weight is a concern then needs must.
Hi Terry. I've just been looking at the presentazione you gave about the affordaplane. I intend to build an Aplane when I get settled in Bulgaria. At the moment I'm in Italy and have nowhere to build anything. Italy sucks as far as I'm concerned. I was most supprised at your presentation as nobody asked if the foam wing performance better than the aluminum ribbed wing and I also see on the plans that there is no lower rail on the ribs, but the eing you constructed has the lower rail. Is this a modification you thought out yoirself? I would like to incorporate it in the wing I build in the future. I have to find out what the regulation are in Bulgaria before I start building. I don't believe the regulations there would cover the type 103 rules that apply in the US. Once I start building I will be ordering all my hardware through the Affordaplane Store. I have found out that Aircraft Spruce have a branch in Germany and they stock 6061-T6 material. So I now have an almost local supplire for that. As I am a trainer draughtsman I intend to draw up the Affordaplane with metric measurements to enable us guys in Europe to build without going through the conversione of measurements. My intention once I get to Bulgaria is to entourage the building and flying of aeroplanes and private ownership. The Affordaplane fits the bill like a glove for this. I would love to start a movement for gliding as well. To this end I've discovered a ultralite glider for home construction called the Goat 1.It is a simillar design to the Aplane only it does not have a engine. Here the Aplane would make an ideal tow aircraft. I think I saw an Aplane Torino one up in a video. If it wasn't an Aplane then it must have been an Airbike. Thank you for the presentation and I really hope to be building later this year or early next year.
Ha! Terry, love the production man! Cool music and intro!
Nice landings Terry, I would like to see more on how your rebuild is coming along, Cheers Gary
Awesome Terry!
