Legal Eagle SR 7-1/2 Flying to Fly-In

It has been a while since I have been able to fly LE SR 7-1/2. Had a Knee replacement back in December and have not been able to get into the machine. After Knee replacements knee bending movement is not quite what it was before and I am a bit overweight, large, which limits my movements. As I loose weight this should become easier and SR will climb getter. This is the First Annual EAA chapter 972 Fly in there in East Texas at T25 so put it on you calendar for next year, June 14th 2025.

That little 3 cylinder fan engine looks like the Anzani engine that powered Louis Bleriot Model 11 across the English Channel in 1909. Very cool.

Looks like a Verner 3VL; according to their site, 42 HP and 90 (!) ft.-lbs. torque.
