That is my motto.
I am a german car driver with 20 + years of driving experience and as you could have guessed: I love cars. I show you how I drive from my POV with two onboard cams. There is “no speedlimit“ for me, only the limit of the car can stop me. I demonstrate acceleration tests ( 0-100 kph / 0-200 kph / 100-200 kph / 200-300 kph ), high-speed-runs and test drives on the German Autobahn / Deutsche Autobahn. With my videos I want to give you a real and raw driving experience with all type of cars (manual, automatic, electric, hybrid) and all the noises that come with it. So let‘s find out how fast I can drive, shall we? But I have one last message for you: Please don‘t test your limits on the streets when you don‘t know what you are doing. Soy un conductor de automóviles alemán con más de 20 años de experiencia como conductor y como habrás adivinado: me encantan los automóviles. Te muestro cómo conduzco desde mi punto de vista con dos cámaras a bordo. No hay "límite de velocidad" para mí, solo el límite del automóvil puede detenerme. Demuestro pruebas de aceleración (0-100 kph / 0-200 kph / 100-200 kph / 200-300 kph), así como pilotaje a alta velocidad y pruebas de conducción en la autopista alemana / Deutsche Autobahn. Con mis videos quiero brindarte una experiencia de pilotaje real y realista con todo tipo de coches (manual, automático, eléctrico, híbrido) y todos los ruidos que lo acompañan. I used to have one of these. Same engine. It was amazing owning non-expensive car I dont care about. Best financial decision of my life probably. The car was about 1000Euro and I spent about 350 more for repairs for about 5 year ownership. Very economical on the non-urban roads. The shocks were long past for replacement, but it did ride like a boat on clouds.
I was planning to have Volkswagen Golf 1.8 hatchback as my first car. This video sure looks amazing to drive that car.
I've been having same car with same engine 15 years ago. Very good car. Engine has no problems. Then I sold it to other People that Drive it in villages on rural areas.
Last year I have met my car! The conditions of car was not so good, but engine is still working without any repair! A

I once got my '93 Golf III (with that same engine) up to just a bit over 200kmh on a downhill stretch of the Autobahn. Not exactly the smartest thing I've done...

@@averagealbanian2281 Nah, but the brake fluid and the tires were ancient back then, and it has no ABS... if I'd had to brake, it would've ended very badly
@@lptomtom yep, I can surely agree with that. Mine's burst the brake cylinder while doing almost 40km/h, something that you could expect of a 20+ years car with oem parts

@@user-ex1ej3bg1v ну, уже не так сильно грустно) Но: коробку на 40к обслужил в начале месяца, а в конце месяца вккинул 50к в мотор. Осталось подвеску сделать и подвариться - ещё тысяч 40 - 50 в итоге, короче. И это тупо чтобы технически машина была норм. Старый немец не дешевле нового - вот почему.

Diese Motoren sind noch echte Tiere, brauchen so gut wie kein Öl, es gibt fast keine Probleme und sie funktionieren und sind unzerstörbar!
isso. In der Lehrzeit hat gefühlt jeder 2. nen G3 gehabt.
DIese 500€ Kisten wurden geknechtet wie Azok seine Orks aber hatte nie Probleme und sind einfach immer gelaufen.

I had one like this, a 1995 2 doors with the sunroof. It was my first brand new car. Traded it for a 1996 Acura Integra after one year, it was too slow 😀

Got the same car, 1.8 90Hp, got another with the 1.4 60HP, they're fun to drive.
The 1.4 has multiple injectors, while the 1.8 has only one: some king of "modernized carburator", but if the 1.8 has multiple injectors, it would be like the engine of the MK II GTI 8S: around 110 HP.
I'm letting the 1.4 stock, and looking for what to do to the 1.8: switch to carbs, or trying to meddle with and get 4 injectors... .

Yeah, but you got some other variants in Mexico and Brazil if I'm correct. Even in south Africa, the MK I xas still produced until not so long .
But yours, how much HP with 4 injectors? And what's the engine code, I'm a little curious lol !
@@ShiraanVII Hello, I also have 1.8 with four injectors. It was imported from Mexico to Europe. It’s 1.8 MI version and it’s supposed to have 96/97 hp. It’s digifant 2 injection, very similar to digifant 1 on 1.8 mk2 GTI. The car is very reliable and has a nice suound,especialy when you put after market back box like I did. It’s not super fast but it’s also not that slow. It’s very comfortable car even tho I have red sport springs on it. My car has AC,4x electric winows, electric mirrors,lock for rear windows,cup holders, hand rest and it all came from factory. It’s only missing sunroof but I’m probably going to install it myself from GTI model. The consumption is arround 10L in city and arround 8L on highway when cruising 80-110 km/h so I’m very satisfied and the maintenance is not expencive at all,almost every mechanical part fits from EU model except fuel injectors and ECU. I had Mk3 with 1781ccm 75 PS AAM motor. On 2000 1/min goes 80km/h.
in S.A that same engine makes 96hp with Carb (72kw)

I'm pretty sure the 1.8 90hp is a very good engine, but at the same time u must admit that volkswagens later engines like the 1.4 16V with 100hp was even better, and no i dont talk about the TSI stuff, in the end 8V engines had a very long life in Volkswagen company as the 1.6 100 hp was built into golf 6 until 2010 and in the big T5 cars they put the 2.0 115 hp into them even until december 2013, and well even if they are probably the weaker options, they should be much more reliable the VW's always problem plagued TSI engine and u dont need to worry that your oil pan gets filled with like 20k tiniest metal parts cuz your pistons already dissolves after 60k kilometers :D

I got the same car, engine is at operating temperature judging by the water temp dial in the bottom left corner (around 75°c water temp) also, these engines are absolute beasts and can handle it lmao

Das stimmt aber Zeiten ändern sich das erste Auto meines Vaters hatte 60 PS mein erstes Auto (ich habe meinen Führerschein erst seit Januar) hat Serienmäßig 239 PS gehabt und dank Softwareoptimierung jetzt 310 PS und wer weiß wie viel Leistung meine Kinder später haben werden falls ich welche haben werde und falls die Regierung mit ihrer Grünpolitik endlich die Kurve kriegt

yes the passat has 90 hp but the engine code is different. the engine code of the Passat is RP and in the Golf there was the ABS and the ADZ
