Destiny Addresses Taking $$$ From Israel And Getting Candace Owens FIRED

Destiny thinks that "all doctors" always tell the truth lol
This guy’s whole argument is a unironically “ you can’t say I’m wrong unless you show me what I want (then Destiny asking him OK what do you want? and him saying.) “I don’t know!”😂😂😂
Yeah it’s a case of dunning Kruger. The less you know the more you think you know.
he even actively was avoiding to even look at the studies. he doesn’t want to have his mind changed.
Don't forget the other part where when Destiny or Avi say "here, we have something to show you, that we think is relevant." And he responds with "WELL NO, I CANT READ THAT RIGHT NOW AT THIS MOMENT!!!"
more importantly, I'll change the goal posts the moment you give me what I "want". because what I want is really to live in my anti-vax bubble.
Bro also forgets that studies cost money. You can't just scoop 100k people up and ask medical questions for free, and you can't just go through people's history 🤣
A “good study” is a study that agrees with me.
yes 🗿
There is no other way to see studies 🌚
a good study is whatever study that hasn't been done yet
Or better yet, a study with standards so high, it could never be done, and thus, never prove me wrong

Bingo 🎯
With a mix of "I'm not looking at any studies you show me because it's impossible to determine how good they are in a short amount of time"
And if it's "good enough" by a statistician's standards he has no time to read it, and if he does suddenly there are new criteria that actually make the entire thing "insufficient" for the level of detail he thinks is needed, even though he can't specify at all what threshold of risk he finds acceptable and seems to imply he wants an objective proof of literally no risk which just isn't possible
@@hadalabyss he tried to nitpick because the limitation of one of the studies is that it’s this certain age range and this certain demographic. If he was being honest, he would have conceded “okay, I guess it’s safe for the predominantly white and adult demographic”, but of course because it wasn’t tested on children or the elderly enough, suddenly even the white adult male shouldn’t take it either? He obviously believes that they don’t work and is working backwards by nitpicking the smallest details to prove his point.
Because he wants the study written in crayon saying vaccine is bad
How can Destiny live with himself, exploiting these mentally challenged individuals for views

Literally braindead
it would be funny if it weren't so obnoxious lol
Aynrand: "There were no studies done before the vaccine was released"
Destiny: "Here's a phase 3 study with 46k participants prior to the emergency use authorization"
Aynrand: "Yeah well they didn't test children or old people"
Destiny: "There were ~5k 15-18 year old and ~18k 55+"
Aynrand: "Yeah well they released it stupidly"
Destiny: "Well what does stupidly mean?"
Aynrand: "Well they should have run studies after it released on children but they didn't. "
Destiny: "Here's a study I just found that tested children in a prospective double blind"
Aynrand: "Well they should have checked the VARS database before it released."
lol, that pretty much sums it up...I think he knew he was looking stupid so just resorted to talking over Destiny to save face.
And then his brain resets back to the beginning.
Getting cooked like this is haunting, let alone in front of thousands of people.😂😭
It's "let alone" not yet alone.
It can be tough to focus on the arguments instead of how you look.

"Well however many it takes to prove I'm right and that hasn't been done yet."
Well buddy....I have some bad news for ya. That probably means you're just wrong.
I empathize with Destiny and Dr. Avi because literally no evidence will change the guy's mind. Years of anti vax propaganda has warped him.
I mean, Destiny conceded the point that smaller studies might not have enough people in them to catch an incidence rate of 7 in 100,000. But, adverse incident reporting is sensitive enough that the J&J vaccine was paused and the recommendation changed for a blood clot incidence rate of 6 in 1,000,000.
The number this guy asked for in his example was 30,000 then when destiny pulled up the actual study they used 43,000 lmao
@@DahVoozel Well but that doesn't really counter anything Shadow quoted. Like how do we know the background incident is just a few out of a hundred thousand? If we don't know that rate, then how do we know smaller studies wouldn't catch it? There has to be some number the caller trying to compare to or the criticism that they didn't use a large enough sample size is incoherent
Bro ran the power analysis himself I guess
Hearing someone who’s clearly not familiar with scientific, let alone medical, research/literature flail & throw out every clinical sounding word they know while not making any cohesive points is hilarious. This guy must be having a ROUGH day after this call

I have my PhD in chemistry and I’m at a loss. My doctorate was heavily based on chem bio, and in undergrad I did extensive biochemical research on mRNA, and even I wouldn’t try to appear as shamelessly confident as this antivax clown. Dude is so good at moving goalposts, he should start a business
This guy doesn't just have a misunderstanding of how medical research works. He has a fundamental misunderstanding of how _science_ works, in general. It's a common misunderstanding, though. Most can't wrap their head around how science never really proves anything for 100% sure, even when our confidence is so close to 100% that we can't discern a situation where that thing wasn't true (like the sun rising tomorrow). It's why a scientific "theory" is the highest level of certainty that a hypothesis could ever hope to achieve. Sure, there are physical laws, but that's not something that can really be achieved by a hypothesis
yeah and if u believe that big pharma hasnt captured the research AND the key publications, ive got a safe and effective vaccine to sell you....
And then you have the opposite bunch of dumbasses, who over fixate on the “we can’t really truly actually ever prove anything for sure!!!” and cannot fathom that we make decisions based on what is absolutely most likely to happen..
Sun is most certainly going to rise tomorrow, so we behave as such.. gravity is most certainly going to kick in, so we do not jump off that very tall building..
Even though we cannot 1000% prove gravity is actually there..
I honestly feel this type of person is more frustrating than the former, but it is a damn close race that one.
Yes. Many scientific (or maybe if you allow me to even include humanities - academic etc.) research deniers have also no f***ing clue about the competitive nature of research: Sure mistakes can happen and stuff can be published that is wrong, but it is in the self-interest of other scientists to test what others have produce and revise those mistakes. That the academic system is so international now means that it is hardly believable that completely false claims can stand for a long time without being revised by regular working academics themselves. There is no big, dark secret, yet those clowns are always looking for them.
i once heared a biologist from germany say "in science we basically err ourselves upwards for all eternity" and i think that summs knowledge acquisition processes in science up quite good.
Technically, you can use science to disprove basic claims. It just can't directly prove statements.
A basic counter-example like: "There does not exist any black sheep in the world. - I have done a study, looking at 300 sheep. Out of the 300 sheep, 1 was black. The claim is rejected, QED."
You just can't accept that claim. "I have done a study, looking at 300 sheep. Out of the 300 sheep, 0 were black. The claim that black sheep do not exist, is accepted." Is not a valid proof.
This is why every statistical analysis is "rejecting the null-hypothesis". Because that's all it can do, in theory.
Bro was about to tell destiny "I'VE DONE MEDICAL RESEARCH" 😂😂
The dude is like “There’s no studies!” So Destiny is like, “Here ya go.” Then dude says, “This is why I don’t like brining up studies in the middle of a debate.”
Why? Because it makes you look like a tool?
No you see it has to be a "good study". Which translates to all COVID vaccines studies are bad so I can never be wrong in my belief they are bad.
If you make an illusory target it becomes impossible to hit.
The guy: these studies aren't done right!
Destiny: how do you know they're not done right?
The guy: I have no idea! But they're just not done right!
this comment actually displays something very important.
most "normies" who are opposed to any broad consensus of any scientific community (which is usually backed by a laughable plethora of peer reviewed studies/meta studies) arent really opposed to the consensus because they found a variety of flaws within the methodology of said studies but rather because it wont fit in their political narrativ.
i mean how could they realiably conclude that anyway? there is a reason why PEERS review published papers and not joe schmoe the plumber. because only peers who also work research in the same field can reliably analyze the methodology of said studies.
like as defeating as it sounds but as a plebian you can do almost nothing but just accept the consensus because you have to take it as a given that your interpretation of any research in any scientific field is completely ass and retarded in comparison to the plethora of actual scientists who overlooked it.

"What if it's a bad study! 😭😭😭" - guy who doesn't know enough about medicine or science in general to know if a study was bad.
This dude used every weasel tactic in the book to try and avoid looking stupid.
He failed
You must read some well writen books.
You mean he used the tactics to avoid admitting he is wrong and stupid. Not to prevent looking stupid, because all the things he said exclusively showed he was stupid.
26:22 "They never prove anything?" - was the moment that conclusively proved this guy has no understanding of how science work. There's a difference between things like mathematics, which is a pure logical construction where you start with some axioms and prove statements definitively via pure logic and science, which operates by formulating hypotheses, conducting experiments to prove or invalidate those hypotheses and then at a larger level formulating theories to explain how all the proven hypotheses make sense together.
You almost had everything right until the part about proven hypotheses. In science there IS no proven hypotheses. We just have hypotheses which keeps giving us the same correct answers over a plethora of trials without a single example of it being disproven which we then claim as "theories" and then laws if they've been around long enough.
But even then, they're not "proven," per se. That's why we can adjust these hypotheses if we get better measurement tools and find some minor data which shows that the hypotheses don't quite work exactly as we believe (e.g., Newton's Laws of Gravity being shown to be not completely correct and birthing Einstein's Laws of Relativity).
So, anyone who claims that science PROVES something should be looked at askance because it betrays a fundamental misunderstanding of how science lets us know what is actually true in this world.
25:05 “what if the study is crap?!” - this was the moment that showed everything he believe is built on childish fear and can never be convinced by learning anything new. He will always revert to this fear when left to his own thinking.
And hypotheses can’t be proven, only disproved
@@frankjiang1857 Yeah that's what I meant, I incorrectly used the word "proven" there but that's exactly my point, you can't logically prove something in science as you would in math, you can just accept/reject a hypothesis with a certain degree of confidence.
@@vvieites001 I mean to say they can be accepted/rejected with a certain degree confidence.

13:55 this is the entire problem. You shouldn't need extra time to read the studies... you should have already looked up if these studies exist and what they concluded BEFORE you go on unhinged rants where your entire position is based on wanting studies done
This is exactly the issue with people like him. They think researching is just looking for studies that agree with you and close for the day. You have to review the whole literature. I even go all the way and actively look for studies that go against the consensus and study their methodology. Plus, you don't need too much time to check how good a study is: most info can be found in the methodology and limitations; the issue is that if you're trying to criticize something you don't understand, of course you won't be able to determine how good or bad a study is in that particular area. I'm a physician, so I'm familiar with clinical studies, I can't simply go and criticize a study in the field of mathematics, astronomy, or climate. Heck, I can't even go criticize a clinical study in an specialized area I'm not familiar with.
If it happens constantly then ok but it is the same thing that happens to Destiny too, he just says ok I haven't seen that study and it sounds exaggerated to me and that's that. Then if not looking at the debate objectively the viewer will just discard the thing as hypotethical nonsense. So I'm just saying it's not like it doesn't happen vice versa. It's a problem if there is no grasp at Any studies.

@@elingrome5853 Because that’s not how drugs work. I love when people who doubt every statistic and ounce of data will essentially recreate the existing system when you start pushing them about how they would do it or what would it take to convince them
This guy is an extremely poor arguer. All he really needs to hit on is the fact that the emergency use authorization granted for the vaccines inherently means they did not have to withstand the rigor of typical trials. This could still mean the vaccines are totally fine, but the fact is they did not do the expected due diligence prior to releasing the vaccines to the public. The next argument you would have to lay out is that the situation was not extreme enough to warrant the emergency use authorization and forgoing the usual scrutiny of clinical trials.
It's really not that simple to argue this position because the other side immediately counters with "the trials were sufficient to prove the safety of the vaccine". To counter this counterargument you have to argue that: the trials were done by the pharmaceutical companies that developed the vaccines and the trial results were largely not made public. There was and still is an extreme lack of transparency about these trials (because ???) (pharma companies have never done anything wrong btw, we should definitely trust their word, it was only billions of dollars of profit, nothing to see here).
Additionally, if you try to argue that the situation was not extreme enough to force the vaccine on everyone, it gets immediately shut down with the usual "most contagious and deadly disease in the universe" argument and "we knew it was safe(tm) so it was ok to force everyone to get it" (loop back to paragraph 1).
@@aenpien You can literally google dozens of studies in a minute. What lack of transparency are you talking about?
@@Zoltan1251 I am talking about the clinical trials that were performed by the pharmaceutical companies (Pfizer, Moderna) to determine whether the vaccines were safe to administer to the general public. The entire vaccine campaign only happened because these companies effectively said "we did the trials, our results show that our vaccine is safe". But the details of these trials were not available to the public, and currently they're still very hard to get. For Pfizer you need to submit a request to Pfizer and have a very good reason (who knows if they accept any reason at all) and obviously you will be legally bound to not share them. For Moderna there's no public info available about this afaik. There's more to say about this such as FDA's high reluctance to share the info that it used to determine emergency use authorization but this comment is getting too long. Hopefully this answers your question.
As a philosophy student with just a brief course in methodology under my belt I cringed so hard at the “arguments” of our “good study” guy, I can’t imagine what listening to it must feel like for somebody who specializes in medical research.
What don't you guys understand?! HE WANTS A GOOD STUDY! a good one. JEez! Why can't you listen to his feelings!?!?!?!?
The real correct position is “I didn’t take it because i was too lazy and didn’t want to take away time i could have used to game”
Destiny is incorrect about multiple points here.
1) Destiny is wrong about adenoviral vector vaccines. They actually are a new technology in the sense that before J&J and Astrazeneca, only ONE has ever actually been approved to be distributed for human use which was the Ebola vaccine in 2020. The technology wasn't used widely before that because all prior versions caused dangerous side effects including blood clotting disorders which also happens to be the reason that J&J and Astrazeneca were BOTH recalled.
2) Destiny completely creates a strawman when he says that the people who don't get the MRNA vaccines don't get other vaccines. Many of those who got injured by the covid vaccines were the first in line to get the shots because they wanted to play their part in helping to stop the spread, then were ostracized and demonized when they spoke up about their experiences. These people still get their kids vaccinated, and get flu shots, but for some reason Destiny is trying to demonize them.
3) There absolutely is a link between young men and higher rates of myocarditis from the covid vaccine, and it isn't a minor risk despite Destiny's argument that they are mostly just acute cases. Other countries have taken steps like allowing for one dose or spreading out doses to try to mitigate that risk, and some countries no longer allow people under 30 to take Moderna at all due to the increased myocarditis risks. There are quite a few studies that state much higher rates of myocarditis than the rates of myocarditis that Destiny gives.
Yup, correct on all points. Unsurprisingly, not a single person has yet to respond to this...I wonder why that is.
(I don't really wonder why that is, lol)
He definitely made me consider using the Canadian health services
I had myocarditis when I was 16(2007 maybe '08) that started from a viral infection. It was pretty scary it started out as they thought I had bronchitis, I took a z pack for a few days and when I came back in they ran the tests and doctor came back in and said we need to medivac you to a hospital that this can be treated immediately. During the medi vac I had a heart attack as my pericardium has swelled up and all blood had stopped flowing. I ended up being in the hospital for a week or so and then in and out of specialists for the next year or so to make sure everything was all good. I did for sure milk tf out of this and basically got the rest of the school year off lol, but ya scary times.
I ended up getting vaccinated because I've always had a pretty weak immune system since that happened so covid scared tf out of me. When ppl started falling from myocarditis I was super sketched, but was happy to later learn that its less likely after vaccine. I am a bit bummed that I got vaxxed though after having my worldview shattered that gov isnt good, but tis what it is. Has anyone else had myocarditis?
People like that are what made me lose faith in democracy. They made me into a technocrat.
“No no no no, stop stop stop! Nope nope nope.”
Ahh yesss, feels like home. 😂
p.s. As soon as I see Ayn Rand in the username, I know this dude’s gonna be pure brain rot.
Random question. Why are we talking to randos who probably couldn't describe basic statistical ideas if their life depended on it about this crap?
I think he confronted Destiny online, Destiny didn't go FIND him
Destiny doesn't find them, they find destiny. And it's good he brings totally irrelevant people on who talk big, because 100% of the people in chats online coping about how they'd "stomp destiny in a debate" are verifiably able to try. But almost none of them do and when they do it looks pathetic. If destiny stopped doing these we'd not only lose fun content, we wouldn't be able to point to the fact he does them for overconfident people to fumble around trying to explain why they don't come onto stream.
Because it's funny
Entertainment and education. People need to hear this and Destiny videos are better when he's talking to an adversary rather than someone he just agrees with.
Most people are randos who probably couldn't describe basic statistical ideas if their life depended on it and yet they have strong opinions
“Not without the data that agrees with me”
There are no studies -> I'm not reading that study it will take too long -> There are no studies. For 40mins.
So disappointed I didn’t hear about any midcentury homes in Connecticut
ME TOO!
Everyone says breathing increases my chance to live, but where is the study with a sample size of 1.5 quintillion people with red hair and green eyes to say that it does? Curious
lol, the Sun doesn’t actually “rise” at all. Intuitively it does. Colloquially it does. But the Earth actually turns to face the sun. So based on our current understanding of the universe the Sun has never and will never truly “rise”.
"erm based on my calulcations"🤓
@@ssttpy true, super pedantic, but his point was that we could “deduce” that the sun rises. It doesn’t though. He presented an intuitive observation as a deductive conclusion. It just proves what a gargantuan moron he is.
I had this happen to me, except medical credentials were used against me to justify a position that COVID doesn't exist. So I pointed out that Kary Mullis was dead and asked them if they believed that HIV/AIDS was a real virus. And also added that we could take the conversation down to the local hospital to see which one of us was citing scientific authority.
Muting yelling extremists is the best thing Destiny did 2024! Can we please normalize this? Viewer experience increased 500%!
