So many new incense fragrances to try out! Thank you! I think that Encens Suave is going to be my next full bottle. And I am considering a bottle of Babycat because I am loving my decant.
Caftan has been on my wishlist for a while now. I love burning incense and love the note. That’s why I enjoy some Arabic fragrance, most oud have a touch of incense. Definitely not for everyone or all seasons. In the “burning”‘category, and not the most original but “By the fireplace” is still a big fave for cold weather only (I sprayed it once in the summer and oh boy that was not a good idea).
Great list! I love Ensens Suave and Basilica, and feel like Falling Trees is right in my wheel house. Another one of my favorite incense frags is LiquidNight by A Lab on Fire (incense and hinoki!).

Babycat, at least on my skin, reminds me of VaneXstasy too and even Material a bit except for the more peppery opening. Dolce Amalfi has a great incense note, as does Material! x
I’m trying really hard to learn fragrance notes so I can start to learn what I enjoy and don’t, so this series has been helpful as I’m learning 🥰 Just bought a sample of Raised Spirts and would love to have a full bottle! Thank you for being generous in sharing your extras 😊
I’ll put you down! If you want to learn notes go to Whole Foods or something similar and start purchasing their small bottles or Essential oils or sample smell them. That’s a good place to start.

OMG, cannot thank you enough for this review… I’d been referring to Sebastian’s video, hoping for an update - et voila💨 you delivered - and I’m definitely looking into a few of these you’ve highlighted! I have a couple perfumes I consider incensey: the most churchy of which is Reve d'Ossian by Oriza L. Legrand (liturgical, almost cold but I like to warm it up with SJP Stash (also being incensey to my nose)); SCRYING SMOKE by Solstice Scents (warmer) & I also consider Narciso Rodriguez Musc for Her to be slightly incensey, as well.

I’ve never heard of most of these, so thank you. Bloody wood is one of my favorite incense scents, it’s like if a monk in a monastery made sangria wine with red berries in oak, with roses around red red red with hint of incense. No by the fireplace? Good video. ❤

Hey Chris! Here in the Southern hemisphere, we are knee-deep in incense season. And I think I have found heaven.... Vanagloria + Lamar Kajal Both have a pineapple note. Think caramelised pineapple upside-down cake. And when I tell you it's a BEAST combo...honey, you need to be a lion tamer to handle it.
Great review with excellent names. Interesting but Ivory Route that smells like one of the most fantastic incense yes I didn’t make the mistake, this one smells like really sophisticated sweet vanilla incense sticks. Although notes are not listed but it does smell like incense. Also, another outstanding incense is D&G Velvet Incenso. Try it if haven’t already you won’t be disappointed. Would be nice if you could review it as well. Your review style is one of the best out there.
Hey Chris! Yeah one of my favorite notes! CH Herrera and Blanche Bete are just absolutely gorgeous! Now I have other incense fragrances to try. Mystic Incense sounds so intriguing. The handoff cameo will definitely result in 10’s and 10’s of views.😂
I don’t have too many incense fragrances in my collection, so here we go: EL Youth Dew, YSL Opium, Guerlain Shalimar and Mariah Carey M. I do have more perfumes with resins. Love from the spooky 👻 Pine Barrens in NJ

I really enjoy Arthur from Penhaligon’s as well! I feel like they make very wearable incense fragrances. As a gourmand girl at heart, I also enjoy Un Deux Trois Soleil. The incense really gives it just the right oomph ❤

I don't have any incensey fragrances, which is remarkable because I love to burn incense at home. I buy mine from a company called The Mother's India Fragrances and the quality is really good. Great video, I will definitely be checking some of these out 🙌

I love Vanagloria and Babycat, but my favs are deff CDG Avignon (most alike to Catholic church incense smell) and Kyoto ( the whole concept is so great - one incense perfume representing one world religion- and they are all oh so mesmerising) and CDG Rouge with beetroot and incense- one of the weirdest and prettiest incense perfumes out there, so CDG like. I would love to hear your take on these. And, btw, I looove your perfume taste. Literally I could blind buy anything u like and I cannot wait to go to Italy and try Gritti Mon Ami which I saw in one of your recent videos (whenever that might be). It just seems oh so great. I do love incense as a minor player in floral or ambery accords, not as much as the dominant accord, but I do have a bottle of Etro Messe de Minuit (somewhere!) As you would expect based on the name, it's a churchy incense.
I didn’t even know that I love incense until I got a sample of Encens Suave and a decant of Caftan😍😍. I only have two full size bottles, Coromandel and Babycat😍😍. I would love to get my hands of Mystic Incens since Encens Suave is on the pricier side and also Basilica🤔🤔. Great diverse list provided as always👌👌. Stay gorgeous🥰🥰.

Gosh Chris, your outros are just so funny recently, idk how but each time it is funny 😂 Not an incense lover. In fact, a lot of incenses tend to have a scary effect for me. Like... idk. Especially leturgical ones. Maybe because I am not a believer, I am not religious at all, and tend to feel anxious in a religious context. It really isn't my thing. And yeah so, when a fragrance has this cold, cold church rock/wall vibe, dark vibe like in church some can be very dark and "cold" colours, and so silent, yeah it really can make me feel very uncomfortable. I think I like benjoin and labdanum bcs sweeter, I can tolerate Myrrh in some ways, but for exemple elemi, olibanum, or others, really hard for me. Litterally the reason I let Milk Musk EDP by Molton Brown go. It was making me feel... sad and anxious, not comforting at all when I was wearing it. Already told you but you would LOVE it, I'm almost certain you would absolutely love it. Elemi is too strong for me, especially for a first meet ever with this note. But for you ! Elemi, benjoin, vanilla, MILK, you're in heaven trust me ;) (yeah I am the little demon on your shoulder making you but fragrances 😈) Haha, have a nice evening - day ! ^^

In fact I was a green aldehydic floral girl. I’m way on the opposite site of that fragrance wheel! It wasn’t until my early 30s did I start to enjoy patchouli. And now of course I love it. 😂
Incense! Yay! My favourite!🥰Thank you, Chris! 😘Now I have so many new ones to try 😊One of my favourites is Bois d'Encens by Armani Prive and it's full on churchy, like legit cold marble and incense smoke. Have you maybe tryed that one yet? I would say it's quite masculine but I love to layer it with pretty much any sweeter, vanillic fragrance. Another one that is quite unusual is Olibanum Gardenia by Bohoboco. I do not pick up the gardenia at all though (thankfully 😂) and it can be worn all year round.
I love Olibanum Gardenia and contemplating a FB. I tried the reformulation of Bois d’Encens and didn’t love it like the sample I smelled around 3 years ago. It was gorgeous.
I don’t think I’ve ever actually smelled incense, but I just bought some incense sticks before Christmas, and am looking forward to trying them out! I bought three different scents! I typically don’t like anything smokey at all in fragrances, but time will tell if burning my very own incense will change my mind 😉😘 xo

I adore Caftan. Not only is it versatile, but it is also a great base to amp up less performing fragrances. Arte Profumi Samharam is a great incense perfume - haven't heard anyone speak about it. Another less pronounced incense is Arabia by La Maison Orientale (an unspoken of house) by Christian Provenzano.

An FYI, falling trees is out of stock everywhere and no longer listed on their website. I did find one shop in Chicago that still had a sample but I passed. What if I liked it, lol?
You are right! They were running a big sale 2 weeks ago for their older range ….fortunately I picked up two of their fragrances because they are gone today. Poof. Great review with excellent names. Interesting but Ivory Route that smells like one of the most fantastic incense yes I didn’t make the mistake, this one smells like really sophisticated sweet vanilla incense sticks. Although notes are not listed but it does smell like incense. Also, another outstanding incense is D&G Velvet Incenso. Try it if haven’t already you won’t be disappointed. Would be nice if you could review it as well. Your review style is one of the best out there.

I really enjoy Arthur from Penhaligon’s as well! I feel like they make very wearable incense fragrances. As a gourmand girl at heart, I also enjoy Un Deux Trois Soleil. The incense really gives it just the right oomph ❤

I love Vanagloria and Babycat, but my favs are deff CDG Avignon (most alike to Catholic church incense smell) and Kyoto ( the whole concept is so great - one incense perfume representing one world religion- and they are all oh so mesmerising) and CDG Rouge with beetroot and incense- one of the weirdest and prettiest incense perfumes out there, so CDG like. I would love to hear your take on these. And, btw, I looove your perfume taste. Literally I could blind buy anything u like and I cannot wait to go to Italy and try Gritti Mon Ami which I saw in one of your recent videos (whenever that might be). It just seems oh so great. I do love incense as a minor player in floral or ambery accords, not as much as the dominant accord, but I do have a bottle of Etro Messe de Minuit (somewhere!) As you would expect based on the name, it's a churchy incense.

Not an incense lover. In fact, a lot of incenses tend to have a scary effect for me. Like... idk. Especially leturgical ones. Maybe because I am not a believer, I am not religious at all, and tend to feel anxious in a religious context. It really isn't my thing. And yeah so, when a fragrance has this cold, cold church rock/wall vibe, dark vibe like in church some can be very dark and "cold" colours, and so silent, yeah it really can make me feel very uncomfortable. I think I like benjoin and labdanum bcs sweeter, I can tolerate Myrrh in some ways, but for exemple elemi, olibanum, or others, really hard for me. Litterally the reason I let Milk Musk EDP by Molton Brown go. It was making me feel... sad and anxious, not comforting at all when I was wearing it. Already told you but you would LOVE it, I'm almost certain you would absolutely love it. Elemi is too strong for me, especially for a first meet ever with this note. But for you ! Elemi, benjoin, vanilla, MILK, you're in heaven trust me ;) (yeah I am the little demon on your shoulder making you but fragrances 😈)

In fact I was a green aldehydic floral girl. I’m way on the opposite site of that fragrance wheel! It wasn’t until my early 30s did I start to enjoy patchouli. And now of course I love it. 😂

My favourite!🥰Thank you, Chris! 😘Now I have so many new ones to try 😊One of my favourites is Bois d'Encens by Armani Prive and it's full on churchy, like legit cold marble and incense smoke. Have you maybe tryed that one yet? I would say it's quite masculine but I love to layer it with pretty much any sweeter, vanillic fragrance. Another one that is quite unusual is Olibanum Gardenia by Bohoboco. I do not pick up the gardenia at all though (thankfully 😂) and it can be worn all year round.
I love Olibanum Gardenia and contemplating a FB. I tried the reformulation of Bois d’Encens and didn’t love it like the sample I smelled around 3 years ago. It was gorgeous.

I don’t think I’ve ever actually smelled incense, but I just bought some incense sticks before Christmas, and am looking forward to trying them out! I bought three different scents! I typically don’t like anything smokey at all in fragrances, but time will tell if burning my very own incense will change my mind 😉😘 xo

I adore Caftan. Not only is it versatile, but it is also a great base to amp up less performing fragrances. Arte Profumi Samharam is a great incense perfume - haven't heard anyone speak about it. Another less pronounced incense is Arabia by La Maison Orientale (an unspoken of house) by Christian Provenzano.
